The property was gorgeous. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the expansive grounds. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of room for the family to spread out.

The home was beautiful and clean. It is a well stocked home with everything we could have needed for a comfortable stay! Jean was super responsive. We enjoyed having our coffee every morning on the patio overlooking the river- it wa so peaceful & a true getaway!

The property was a dream. They have everything you can need! We had an amazing weekend celebrating my sisters wedding.

I can't describe how accommodating the house and the owners were for my trip with friends. First off the house is outstanding!!!! The owners are avid travelers so you have memorabilia from around the world which is a nice touch. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday and stayed in for a majority of the time except for when we went to Thunderhart golfing on Friday. The pool area was bliss which had an incredible view looking over the hudson river. Each room had an extra supply of blankets and pillows for all guests. The home was clean and had everything we wanted, amplifying our experience beyond our expectations. The owners Richard and Jean were phenomenal and showed me and my friends around the house explaining how everything works and where everything is. I will definitely be returning to grasp another amazing time at Bassinova!

Jean's home was spectacular. We particularly enjoyed the media room with the projector and the outdoor pool area with that amazing view. As an owner, she was incredibly responsive to any questions and wanted to ensure we were having a great time. Thanks very much Jean

Bassinova was a perfect home and property for a getaway weekend with friends. House had everything we needed and there was no need to leave the house - everything was perfect!

We stayed here for a weekend with a group of 10 friends. The house was perfect and had so many different places to hangout and have fun. The bedrooms & bathrooms were all beautiful and perfectly clean, and the kitchen had everything you could ever need and lots of space! We were there in mid March, so we sadly weren't able to take advantage of the pool & yard that much (although the hot tub was an awesome added bonus!), but we it was SO beautiful to just sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. We were ~15-20 min from Hudson, which was great for our group to go to for an afternoon. Couldn't recommend this house more - Jean was also super responsive and easy- going! We will definitely be back when the weather is warm :)

The house was beautiful, clean and had great energy. Lots of cool, creative decorations and plenty of space in the house for our group of 9 adults. The Sonos system was great to have as well. The staff who are available to help were very responsive when we had an issue with the hot tub and got it resolved right away. Wish we could have enjoyed the gazebo/porch and more of the land, but it was a cold February weekend. The views of the Hudson are spectacular end you can see ice drifting down the river. We’d love to come back in the summer! Beautiful kitchen by the way as well (fully stocked!)

We absolutely loved Jean and Richards place. To start, they are some of the most incredible people we have ever met and took time from their busy schedules to meet with us and take us on a personal tour of the property. Secondly, they were available via call or text plus had two other people who we could reach out to should there be any issues. The home itself is a complete journey filled with love and happiness. Each room has perfect accommodations and plus personal touches that show their personalities and places they have traveled throughout the world. The property is outstanding, extremely large and well groomed. Fun for throwing football, frisbee & laying out at night to watch the stars. The pool is also mind blowing the view is incredible and size perfect, plus a hot tub in the pool and one also in the back yard!! My friends and I are always on the go, this place was so well equipped we did not need to go anywhere. We highly recommend this home for friends, and family trips. You absolutely cannot go wrong and we will certainly be back. Thank you to Jean and Richard for sharing time and space with us. We are forever grateful.

We had 3 generations there for a nice week. The pool is amazing and the kids loved watching the boats come down the river and the train along the river. The property is just beautiful. We watched a movie on netflix at night and really enjoyed the media room, the kids watched a movie during the day and thought they were at a theater. Not much I would change, maybe add a garbage can outside near the pool area.

The house was amazing. Worked perfect for our group getaway. The beds were all comfortable, the hot tub and media room were great, two dishwashers made cleanup a breeze, the decor was so fun...plus those views! You can tell Jean and Richard put so much care into their house. Communication was great throughout the process. I’d strongly recommend!

Property was excellent. Gorgeous views and pool and hot tub were perfect. Only criticism is the house could have been cleaner, bbq area could have been cleaner and dishwasher was only so so. Otherwise the house was great, screened porch fantastic and air air conditioning was perfect . Open kitchen area works great for large families.

Amazing vacation in a beautiful house! My extended family stayed 5 nights in August 2019. The house was very well appointed with the owners providing all the amenities... beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, etc. This made packing for our trip so much easier. The house is beautiful inside with several gathering rooms, but we absolutely loved spending time in the screened porch. The pool and hot tub were definitely the highlights. The kids spent most evenings playing baseball and soccer in the large yard near the river. They also enjoyed fishing in the river and watch movies in the theater room. Great house for adults and kids to relax and have fun together.

The house was great! As stated in listing it had so many beds and bathrooms and was great for a large group. The balconies provided great views and were accessible from multiple rooms. There were many rooms to entertain and gather. Great place to watch Final Four games and barbecue. The rolling lawn was perfect for games and activities. The Sonos was a great way to jam out to good music and not awful music that your friend plays from his phone. The statues made it look like a grand estate. Would love to stay again!

We had quite an enjoyable time this past Super Bowl weekend. Both entertainment rooms perfectly fit the bill. The owners and the property manager were attentive to our requests. The house was very comfortable and wonderfully appointed. I would recommend this property as a great winter get-away.

Our family of 5 adults spent Thanksgiving week at Bassinova and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a beautiful, very interesting home, in a beautiful, park-like setting. The owner was very responsive to my questions, and her assistant Sharon met us at the property to show us the ropes. Although the weather wasn't great, we enjoyed watching football in the theater room on the big screen, playing pool in the game room with a cozy wood stove, jigsaw puzzles and cards. The kitchen worked well for our big turkey dinner and other meals as well. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated with large windows, comfortable beds and nice linens. The view of the Hudson River from inside the home is incredible. We saw many deer and geese on the property. We also spent a half day in the town of Hudson, about a 25 minute drive, for shopping and a great dinner at Wm. Farmer and Sons. Two of our family live in New York City, and it was easy for them to take Amtrak from Penn Station to the town of Hudson to join us. I highly recommend this property and am looking forward to visiting in summer!

The house is wonderful and big for 12 people. It is very well decorated house. The views from the house are excellent starting from early morning as the house is facing east. The house is very well stocked. Few days before Our arrival I asked Jean whether you have martini glasses in the bar ? She said that one thing is missing and she ordered the glasses right away. When we arrived at the house the martini glasses were there. Thanks Jean. We enjoyed the home theatre also. We could not use pool and spa as weather was cool. Jean was kind enough to extend the pool closing for us. Infinity pool adds plus points. In short, it is a beautiful property and we may go back in the summer.

Rented this property with a bunch of friends for the weekend and we couldn't have had a better time. The pool and hot tub were great, the large lawn was perfect for games, and the house was large, spacious with plenty of rooms for everyone to sleep. The outdoor grill was excellent and we used it for all of our meals. The large screened in porch was also great for hanging out after the sun went down. Bonus there was a bald eagle living nearby that we saw flying on the river multiple times each day.

A group of 10 of us (5 couples) stayed at the house for a weekend of celebrations. It was perfect and we are already planning another stay. The property is breathtaking with infinity pool and a great big lawn that looks right onto the river. One of our days was chilly and rainy but it didn’t matter...we still spent every moment outside in the hot tub and around the fire pit. House is very clean, well stocked, spacious, nice sized bedrooms. A great space for a big group. There is no need to leave the property once you are there. We played lawn games, swam in the Hudson, cooked big dinners. We can’t wait to go back!

This house is unbelievable! I stayed here with a group of friends for a long weekend and the house had everything we needed and more! The views, the pool/hot tub, and surround sound music we’re just a few of our favorite things. I recently stayed at the Bassinova for a weekend getaway and loved everything about my stay. The pictures are amazing on the listing, but they do not fully capture just how amazing the home and land around the home is. My wife and I rented the property for the 2nd straight New Year’s and we were once again impressed with Jean and Ricardo’s hospitality. Our party was six adults and three kids under 2 y/o. The property offers enough entertainment to keep both kids and adults happy through the long weekend.

We stayed at home for three nights for my daughters wedding-spacious, clean-very warm and inviting -had everything we could have wanted. Beautiful property with breathtaking view of Hudson!
