Absolutely stunning position of the bungalo with panoramic sea views. Very pleasant and accommodating host. Nice garden around the property. Many good restaurants nearby.

Lovely quiet resort on buffalo Bay, we stayed in a brick bungalow with Garden view, these are only a 1min walk to the beach though. The room was clean, a good size and very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was great and they served the best coffee we've had in Thailand! Its also located near lots of other places to eat and drink. If you want a beach room book early as they are very popular with repeat customers.

We have been to Starlight Resort before and appreciate most of all the owners, the staff and the location. Starlight is a little gem and I fear if I praise it too much, I will never be able to get a bungalow again :-). Starlight comes with all you need: ocean sound while you are asleep, an amazing sunset view, affordable food, local restaurants close by (not that you need them, the restaurant at Startlight is fab), local hornbills, a motorbike rental for customers of the resort, the Hippie bar in walking distance and just the perfect holiday vibe. It is great value for money! It does not come without mosquitoes and with a hot shower. But hey, who needs a hot shower in 30 degrees? And Starlight clearly posts a warning sign on your door about the time of day mosquitoes are out and about. So just sit back, eat, relax and enjoy!

Beautiful location on the beach, perfect for sunset and a short walk along the beach to the Hippie Bar. Lovely breakfast. Owners are really helpful, we hired a scooter from them to see the rest of the island and unlike other places we’ve hired from in Thailand the scooters were in great condition.

Our bungalow was furthest into the jungle and because of that there were plenty of mosquitos. They have a sign saying about feeding time for them is between 4-7 and that was pretty accurate. We couldn’t sit outside our hut because of them which let the accommodation down slightly. Not the owners fault but a consideration for others who are prone to being bitten, perhaps pay a bit more and get one of the huts closer to the beach. Also be prepared for a cold shower!

Well maintained resort with a beautiful garden in great location, very friendly and helpful owners. If you are not on a tight budget and looking for a very comfortable place to stay its here, there is also very good restaurant with excellent service. Highly recommended.

The pillow cover and bedsheet are smelly, and the mosquito net has a hole on the top.

-bigger wardrobe would be nice -only cold water for showering -some ants etc. but that’s life in the dschungel ;)

My stay at Starlight was really an outstanding experience. I had initially planned to stay 3 nights and ended up staying a week! The rooms are well equipped and very charming, and you will fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. Apart from the obviously amazing location, Starlight has a great staff that is caring and attentive to your needs. The restaurant was also really good and I enjoyed having breakfast and dinner there. To sum it up, this is a place you will not forget!

Only negative point: I had to leave eventually!

Nothing to complaint, everything was good!

The superior bungalow is very nice and comfortable. The staff is really kind. The beach is perfect for swimming and relaxing.

The standard bungalow is not comfortable. There aren't mosquito nets in the windows so you have to have them closed all the time. Mosquitoes make very difficult to enjoy the place. There aren't many services around, you'll need a motorbike for almost everything.

Our 10 days where like a wonderfull dream.
