Le Petit Murat was impeccable, a must do if you’re in Positano.

The whole property is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful gardens and pool area. Fantastic location as well - close to the beach and all the restaurants and shopping.

Location was convenient to the ferry port in the heart of Positano, so it was easy to get around. We loved their terrace for a drink in the evening and they had an excellent restaurant (make reservations in advance for dinner!). The pictures don't do the hotel justice, so know that you're getting something better than advertised, which is rare!

The most AMAZING stay. This hotel is pure perfection, and the view from our room was priceless. I cannot wait to come back to this hotel again, for another unforgettable experience.

The building was historic, clean, well maintained. The antique, four-poster bed was very comfortable. There was an exquisite chandelier above it made from crystals of all different shapes. I loved the bougainvillea gracing the balconies, where you could look out and see the dome of the church against the backdrop of the ocean. The lush garden by the restaurant makes it an oasis in the heart of Positano. In fact, it was a great location that didn’t require as many steps as other places to get to the main shopping, restaurants, and the beach. Their complimentary breakfast is a sumptuous buffet spread. And the lovely Rosita helped our trip go smoothly by making dinner reservations and planning excursions. It was like a dream come true!

Staying at this hotel is magical not merely because of its location - already perfect! - but because of its unique character which is a sum of its history, its natural and cultivated beauty and its thoughtful people who never think any request too difficult. The food was magnificent (including a surprise gluten-free birthday cake of lightness and sweetness for my birthday breakfast), the coffee superb, each recommendation for eating or other was perfect and suited to being a family with children. Special mention of Attilio, full of grace and good humour, and the ever-abundant, empath extraordinaire Rosita. Listening to the Four Notes jazz quartet, in the courtyard bar (one of the loveliest of its kind with its fresco detail and framing bougainvillea) was an unsurpassable pleasure. Charming, thoughtful, stately, with good humour. I eagerly wait to return even though I know it might be some time till I do so. Many thanks.
