Enjoyed our stay! The neighborhood was clean and quiet. The VRBO was awesome!

Was comfortable for our guests for a short stay.

The host was easy to communicate with and everything was clean and comfortable for our short stay. Not much light in the apt (which is basement level), which is fine if you expect to be out during the days. We were dissappointed there was no hot tub which was listed in the amenities and we had planned around. we each had small space heaters in our rooms/LR, which made it a bit hard to regulate the temperature.

Jerri was extremely kind and helpful. Very communicative and validating of my concerns as a guest. I really appreciated this place! Clean and orderly, and great location.

Pros: loved the walkable location to BART and food. Walked to safeway and Trader Joes several times. Good beds. Nice desk area for remote work. Excellent communication with the owner, who was very responsive. Cons: wifi was a little spotty sometimes. It is a basement apartment that could use a dehumidifier. Everything was generally clean, but the bathroom especially had several areas in need of deep cleaning.

Second time staying here. Super clean and welcoming. Full apartmemt with everything you need. Jeri is a wonderful and gracious host -- fast and responsive wirh communication. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

The apartment is very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were surprised to find it is in a lower level and doesn’t have much sunlight. It was not much of an issue because we were out everyday.

Location good, nice quiet street. Walkable to the local grocery and drug store, easy access to other parts of Oakland via ride share. Everything we needed was available in the home for our visit. Felt welcomed by the host. Thanks for giving access earlier to the home.

We decided to take a vacation with our adult kids ages 22 and 25. We purposely picked this location that was near the BART and near my cousin who I last met when I was 10. It was a perfect location to go into San Francisco and visit with my cousin. We also met a friend who lives in Morin County. The property was clean and felt like home. The courtyard was perfect to sit and chat. Jeri was easy to work with and also made us feel welcome. 5 stars all around.

Spacious and clean 2BR near shops, restaurants and BART. Well equipped kitchen. Easy parking.

This was the perfect place for our family's return to a favorite city after 30 years away. The location is ideal - a beautiful, walkable neighborhood nestled between the Temescal and Rockridge neighborhoods, an easy walk from two BART stations, easy access to every urban amenity. The home is clean and comfortable and the manager, right upstairs, was very friendly and accessible. We will definitely look for this property again next time we visit the Bay Area!

We were very happy with this vrbo. I checked with Jeri beforehand about the heaters and noise mentioned in another review. The space heaters were more than adequate. We only used two of them. On chilly days we turned them down when we left and we turned them off on other days. Noise was not a problem. When she had company she told us and we barely noticed. Jeri is the best! We will definitely book again on future trips to Oakland.

I am unable to give this property a good review due to a few issues. The rental is in the basement of the house with a few high street level windows. I knew this from reading all the reviews before renting. What I didn’t know is that there is no heat other than three space heaters throughout the unit. One heater is in the main sitting area/kitchen and each bedroom has a heater. However, you can only turn on the space heaters when you are in the unit. They are very slow to heat up. The unit does have electric baseboard heat but they must be broken. Signs are taped on the baseboard heaters instructing you not to use. So it was bone chilling cold! We were also renting in November which is a cold month. Since this is a lower unit it was very loud from the owners who live up above. If you like to stay up late this won’t bother you. We are on East coast time and not being able to fall asleep due to the noise was frustrating. Things would quiet down up above around 2 AM making it very hard for us to adjust to the time. On the positives - the owner is very friendly. The unit was very clean and is situated in a nice neighborhood. The patio/courtyard looked very nice but we did not use it.

Stayed here while visiting my daughter who is away at college. Clean and comfortable house was just what the doctor ordered for a dorm-weary freshman.

The property was great. Just what we needed for a quick trip for a wedding. Put us 30 mins outside San Fran. The main strip with restaurants and bar is a SUPER easy walk - which we did just about every night. Cute quiet neighborhood. Just perfect.

We had everything we needed during our stay. The location is close to Oakland and San Francisco. I would stay there again.

For our girls trip, this place was absolutely perfect! We had plenty of space and nice amenities. Easy parking and a truly amazing outdoor space. The host was very communicative before and during our stay. Would highly recommend!

Clean, comfortable, and convenient! We were in Claremont area for wedding and enjoyed staying for 4 nights. In between festivities, we relaxed in outdoor garden area with cup of coffee or glass of wine. Fully equipped kitchen was perfect for preparing meals too. Appreciated wonderful communication with host and would definitely come back when in area.

Reviews were all correct as indicated in my star rating and would recommend staying here. Only downsides being it was a fairly dark accommodation due to being low level and bed in 2nd bedroom was rather small and uncomfortable . Jeri was great host and always quick to communicate even though she was out of town.

We thought this was a great spot!This is the first floor of a raised so the ceiling are fairly low. It is spacious, comfortable and worked perfectly for our family of 4. The host was super nice and there if we needed anything. The outdoor space was delightful with a variety of interesting plants and flowers. We had a our breakfasts at the house and the kitchen was well equipped. Trader Joes and a natural store are within walking distance and there was a fantastic Sat AM farmers market near the house.

Our group had an awesome time staying at Jeri’s in Oakland. We were in town for Outside Lands Music Festival in SF. Jeri’s home was an easy walking distance to the BART station. Jeri was extremely communicative and helpful before and during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you again!!!

Excellent location in Rockridge--just 10 min walk from BART and 6 Bus takes you to UC Berkeley in about 15 minutes. Jeri was great to work with and was able to accommodate last minute changes. Kitchen is workable; patio area is lovely place to spend time; comfortable bed (primary bedroom). Pics don't indicate it is a basement apartment, but no issues with the usual things that come with that.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The accommodations were very relaxing, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Location was perfect, close to restaurants, BART, and quick drive to Berkeley. Three cute outdoor kitties were an added bonus!
