The host, location and amenities are excellent. The main bedroom could use a new mattress and the bathroom could use some updating for the price paid for the rental. Given the rate per night after all cleaning fees, taxes etc, I feel some areas of the interior could have been a bit more updated. But that is the only constructive feedback I can offer because everything else was excellent - kitchen and living area, proximity to beach access and the village, parking, beach towels/chairs included, and the host was a pleasure to deal with. The location is truly optimal.

Only stayed 4 nights this time, accommodations were clean and well taken care of. Laura is an awesome host as usual.

The villa in which we stayed was quaint, clean, and just perfect for the both of us. Conveniently located near shopping, dining, and the beach! We're looking forward to a return visit in the future!

Everyone's reviews mention how close this property was to the heart of Siesta Key Village and it's a 100% accurate. Literally one sip of coffee away from all the great restaurants , live music and shopping you could need for your stay. Laura was a perfect host and her home was just perfect for us. Very clean, quiet and we appreciated all the beach supplies. To make this location even better was that it is just few steps to access to the beach. Do not rent a car- you won't need it! Whatever you can't walk to , Uber or the free options were just minutes away. Would highly recommend Laura's home and can't wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful time in Siesta Key and Laura’s rental place. We walked the beach many times and the spot by this rental had the most beautiful shoreline, not crowded, clean. not too many shells on the shore so the boys could run into the water all the time . We walked to village for lunch and supper and obligatory ice cream to Olaf’s ice cream every night.

The house is in a perfect location put the keys away, walk to the town for dinner and shopping and walk to the beach and enjoy the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. The host Had everything you can possibly imagine for the best beach experience !!! The house stocked!! A wonderful time!

The unit is in the middle of everything, steps to the Siesta Key Village (SKOB, Daiquiri Deck, shops, groceries, etc) and 2 min from the quiet part of the beach entrance. This beach has the best (powder like and stays cool) sand. We also enjoyed the outdoor area for a morning coffee and late night drink.

My husband and our two teens stayed here in July. It was a perfect location to easily walk to the beach and also enjoy the village with shopping and restaurants. The owner was so helpful. We had a wonderful time and made some great memories! Thank you!

When looking to book for our 4 day trip I looked at many listings. I finally chose to stay at this location. My family and I both agree this is the best location we have stayed at in Siesta Key and we have been coming to this area for 15+ years. The owner was extremely helpful and super friendly. Will definitely book here again.

Nice and conveniently located to everything!

We loved this location - just a few minutes walk to the quiet end of the beach, and a few minutes walk in the other direction to all the Village has to offer. Loved sitting on the patio and listening to all the birds in the morning. SO well-stocked with the necessities and more. So many towels you won't need to do laundry for a week, and trashcans and hooks galore, so you can keep the space tidy. You can tell the owner knows what practical touches that will add to a seamless stay. We were very comfortable in the space with our family of four. A great jumping-off point for visitors who like to be out and about. We can't wait to return.

This was our second time visiting this property. The owner goes over backwards for you so you truly enjoy your stay. We love Siesta Key and come back every year and I can tell you this location is fantastic. You are steps from the beach and just head out the back gate to all the restaurants. The property has everything you need from kitchen supply’s to the linens. Washer and dryer was a big bonus being I came home with everything cleaned and ready to put away. Ladies vacation in the heart of Siesta Key. One block walk to the beautiful white sand beach and one block to all of your needs in town. Lovely shopping, neighborhoods, bars and a local market. Laura is an amazing host! Fully appointed casita with a nice patio and cozy interior.

My two sisters and I stayed for three nights. The accommodations were perfect for us. Two nice size bedrooms and ample of space in the bathroom. It was an easy walk to the beautiful beach and to the shops and restaurants. Laura was easy to work with and made us feel very welcome.

Great time, Great location, short walk to village and the beach. (less than five mins.)The unit was clean and well furnished. Just like last time, the one or two things we had forgotten to pack, it was there. Thanks for having us. We hope to be back soon.

Such a cute condo. Everything was super clean. One minute walk to beach. Out the back gate to the village. Owner provided all paper goods including makeup wipes. Comfy bed. We’ve been to siesta key a few times before. This location was just fabulous. We will definitely return.

Not only was communication with Laura excellent, she also tried to give us great advice on where to eat and go, and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible! The rental was perfect! The beds very comfortable. The rental had everything we needed. We walked to the beach barefoot every day; took a couple of minutes to get there. The little wagon is great for hauling beach stuff. Excellent dinner spots, ice cream, breakfast spots, fun stores, a small grocery store,....all right out the back gate! Yet, it was very quiet at the rental. Location could not be better!!!! We liked the food at SKOB, basically right behind the rental, and at the Hub. We LOVED breakfast at Another Broken Egg, a block from the rental! Lobster benedict was THE BEST! We got a couple of souvenirs at Gidget's (behind the rental) and the Island Bazaar. We would love to return some time! Thank you so much, Laura!!!!

Great location just steps away from the village activities and the beach. Always a wonderful place to stay at.

It was a wonderful place!!! Close to everything. Back patio area was a plus to sit after our nightly beach walk and listen to the music in the Village and enjoy a drink!! CHEERS to a great stay!!!

Me and 3 friends stayed for a girl’s weekend and had the best time!!! This is such a cute condo and it is right by the beach and all the shops and restaurants Siesta Key has to offer! Laura was so good with communicating with me every step of the way. Absolutely no complaints! I hope to come back some day!

Property was backed up to the shopping/restaurant district. Once we got there we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, even the beach area. Great location for weekend visit!

The unit itself is perfectly located - Siesta Key Village and the beach both a short walk away. Inside, everything was clean and well-maintained. It was exactly as described. We loved that we could be in the village in mere minutes, and then sitting in quiet relaxing at the unit. We’ll definitely be back! Oh, and Laura the property owner was so wonderful. Excellent communication throughout and flexible to us checking in a bit early and out a bit late. We’ve been to Siesta Key before and now when we’re back we’ll be hopefully staying at the Kay again. Two big thumbs up!

Had a great time and a great stay at Kay On The Key. The house is well equipped, very clean and in a great location with all the comforts of home. One can tell that lots of thought and preparation went in to making this rental as guest friendly as possible. Looking forward to our next trip and hopefully staying here again if available.
