Great location, very clean, had absolutely everything we needed available. Plenty of room for 3 couples we vacationed with and would be great for a family with 4 bed rooms. We had coffee on the beautiful spacious front porch, meals and board games at dinning room table, camp fires and lawn games walking distance to town and beach. Overall loved it and hope to come back ☺️

We brought our senior parents to stay and we all loved the property and the location. Every detail they could need was available in the house. They enjoyed the spacious porch to sit and enjoy even on rainy days and the huge dining room table to play cards all night. We enjoyed the outdoor fire place and all the comforts of home. Thank you!

This 4 bedroom older cottage was as advertised but needs some TLC. Would be great for two families to share-affordable. Walk into town where there were three or four restaurants. We were three senior adults and each had our own bedroom. Lacking was a hair dryer and hand and bath soap. All other VRBOs I have stayed at had soap. The mosquitoes were fierce but it had rained a lot that week. Loved the owners personal touches and the piano was a plus.

Second time staying here. The location can't be beat, and the porch is the perfect spot to spend the inevitable rainy day.

House was large and clean. Perfect for our large family! Everything was as expected/listed. Our host was quick to respond and great to work with. The short walk to town and the beach/lake was so nice. It was a great home base for lots of hiking and time on the lake. We loved our stay and hope to be back next year! The house is roomy and comfortable but we were disappointed by the lack of direct lake access and closeness to the highway. We had to take a short drive to a public park to really see the lake. Next time we’ll look for something on the lake side of US 9 or just stay in Lake George.

Easily accessible, and very short distance to shopping and restaurants. Reasonably short drive to trailheads. Very comfortable location to relax in after a full day on the trails. Large living room, front porch, fireplace.

We enjoyed the comfortable furniture and beds, the well-stocked kitchen, and the fire pit and outdoor seating. The house is across a relatively busy street from a beautiful lake, and the charming town and beach is a short walk away. Having a liquor store two doors down was a welcome convenience, too! We are looking forward to staying there again next year.

This was our second stay in this house. Our first was Memorial Day weekend. The house is not on the lake but does have a lake view from the dining room. The front porch is the perfect spot to relax and watch the world go by. The house was just as clean and well appointed at the end of the summer as it was at the beginning of the summer season. We will definitely stay here again!

Property has everything you need for your stay, chairs for the lake, nice fire pit, plenty of room inside. Nice short walk to town. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful, relaxing week. The house was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The location was very convenient. Just a short walk to the town and beach. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the large, comfortable front porch.

My family and I spent 3 nights in the house in July. The house was clean and spacious. The layout of the house and amenities made our stay enjoyable, close to everything. Would stay here again.

Property was clean and fairly well equipped. The host should update the website photos. The winter pics don’t do it justice. The kitchen had most of what you need for cooking/cleaning. (One of the double ovens was not working properly, but we only needed one oven anyway). I mentioned it to the host on departure and they said they would repair as necessary. We all felt that it was bigger inside than the pictures seemed to show. Plenty of space to prepare and eat meals and lounging around too. Lovely front porch, large side yard for playing corn hole and badminton, etc. Many S’Mores were made with the large fire pit. Plenty of parking for several cars. We had very hot weather and new AC unit kept things nice and cool all week long! Good gas grill, (could use some proper grill tools). Relatively short walk to center of town and town beach. We had a very pleasurable stay overall.

We knew it was an older home and that it was across the street from the lake, walking distant to boat ramp and town. We learned it also had everything plus more that we needed for grandparents, parents and twin 2 year olds. It had beach chairs. A great big picnic table on a spacious grassy lawn, a brand new Barbeque with propane gas. A fire pit to surround with comfortable lawn chairs, a large front porch with a porch swing. There were books to read, games and puzzles. There were stacks of towels and bathroom and kitchen supplies that we have had to go out and buy in many other rental properties. It is an older home but comfy,cozy and warm- as well as air conditioned! We loved the time we spent there! The hosts were great, answering any questions we had. We look forward to coming back again to this rental!!

The Lake House is spacious, with a large front porch and outdoor fire pit. The kitchen is well supplied. The location was easy driving distance to several trailheads, and downtown Schroon Lake was walking distance.

The house was much nicer than expected - the pictures do not do it justice! Everything was sparkling clean. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch every morning and cocktails every evening. The town is a short walk away. We are hoping to be able to make this a yearly tradition.

The convience of the whole process was fantastic! The owner was quick to respond to any questions and was able to accommodate us when we had to re book at a short notice. Everything in the house was clean and easy to access. We've never stayed in a VRBO so this first time experience was great! We got hit during a storm and the owner was very prompt in keeping the drive way cleared and side walk aswell. Even shoveled a path to the car! Great experience and will do it again! Thank you!

Place was amazing for me, my girlfriend, and 4 of our friends for a weekend at Whiteface/Gore. Great heat, beds, and hot water. Internet and cable was a plus for just hanging around. Big porch and driveway. Liquor store right next door and the town is literally 2 minutes away. Had Pitkins Restaurant Saturday night and was awesome. 50 minutes to Whiteface and 25 minutes to Gore. Right off I-87 makes it a huge plus coming from NYC. I will 100% be back for another ski trip or maybe even in the summer for Schroon Lake. Thanks again Judy for a great stay.

The house was clean and comfortable. It was a bout a 10 walk to the shopping area of the town, which is charming. I'd stay here again!

I’ve stayed at this house many times both with my family and at times with friends. We keep coming back because it’s spacious, clean, a walk to town, great outdoor space/porch/fire pit. Loving room is super cozy and comfortable. Great value for where you are and what you get. The owner is super accommodating and helpful and very responsive.

The exterior of the house could use a little sprucing up, but it was very comfortable and suited our needs well. We liked that shopping, restaurant, and a liquor store were handily close to the house. You can see the lake from the wrap around front porch. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were very nice.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Lakehouse is great. Walking distance to the restaurant and bar area of Schroon Lake. This is a cool lake town and this cabin is a really nice place to stay for a visit to Schroon Lake.

This home was exactly as advertised. It was spacious, clean and neat. The grounds are well manicured and the inside and outside well lit. Appliance all work well. Water pressure was fantastic. We had a lovely weekend.
