Nice town and location 2 nags head

We had water coming up from the floor no where to sit outside  our hotel room

Pool closed in August!

Location was wonderful. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and accommodating and helpful.

Breakfast offerings would have been nice.

Pool was out of service and wifi was only available in an area around the check in desk.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The price was reasonable for the location.

They had no wifi and the pool was closed. When I payed I was expecting to have both thats what I paid for.

It was clean and some staff in the mornings were friendly.

When we arrived they said WiFi only works in the lobby. That was so unexpected and frustrating. They make it sound like every room has WiFi and it doesn’t. The flat screen TV they advertised barely have any channels on it. One night it didn’t work at all. The pool wasn’t working

Very basic breakfast! But the coffee was delicious! always fresh and warm! Very good location! the reception girls are excellent!

Cleaning could be better, when arriving there was a lot of hair in the room and bathroom! Elevator and WiFi didn't work.

Comfortable Beds

1.The room was NOT clean! See Photos. When we went to the office to complain, we were handed a broom and dustpan. A maid unable to speak English was later sent, but she didn't do much other than yell at me calling me "Mama", talking over my attempts to show her what needed to be done. a. The floor was not swept or mopped. See photo of what I swept up in just a portion of the room. More dirt was swept to the outside through the door. b. The room was very dusty on furniture, microwave and bathroom counter. The maid that came, did quickly do that job. c. The toilet was very filthy. The maid did swipe clean the poop splattered inside of the toilet, but left the seat, rim, and base of toilet for me to clean. See photos. It is my guess that the construction workers were using this toilet. 2. We had no wifi access in the room, only in the lobby. 3. Higher than most hotels on pet fee of $50 4. Just frustrating querks: a.The outside light made the room light all night because there are no curtains. The blinds weren't light blocking. b. The toilet room section is poorly designed where you can't shut the door once seated. The space is very tight. Also, the very loud fan is automatically connected to the one light switch. If you don't like the noise, go in the dark. c. We only had one coffee cup for 3 guests. Would you like to pay $180 (with pet fee) for a one-night stay on a Thursday and have to clean your room?

Great location. First night there was no tv or Wi-Fi but it was back the second night.

i have booked with you guys many times, i love the employees i’ve been greeted with, how clean everything is, the location is perfect, price is right. would 10000% recommend this place to anyone visiting obx.

What breakfast? Only coffee.

No wifi during 3 day stay. No ice machines anywhere on campus. No water fountains anywhere. Pool broken.

Air conditioning was adjustable and bedding was comfortable after a long day! Room service was good and the front desk helped a lot! Affordable!

The floor was very dusty which may be because of the draft by the door. This made it difficult to walk around without shoes. There was also a roach in the bathroom which made us nervous but it wasn’t a persistent issue thankfully.

The hotel wasn’t finished! The pool was under construction, some of the rooms were under construction, no internet at all, the cleaning staff didn’t come in and change our beds and straighten up for our next night.

The place was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. I would stay there again.

It is still being renovated so the pool was not open.

Had everything we needed.

Parking lot in front of our unit was broken up and pool was being remodeled and not ready for July 4th. New outside unit lights were super bright. But glancing out the closed blinds @ 4:30 am, you would have thought it was 7 am

People directly outside rooms on sidewalks drinking alcohol & smoking. No wifi or ice. Blinds to sidewalk only part block outside view and spotlights/light. Refrigerator not cooling. Bed ok no top sheet hope comforter washed each stay. Bugs in bathroom. Keurig coffee maker not working properly. Not much will never stay there again and suggest others consider it a last choice. Should have paid more for another hotel!

We frequently stay at Hotel Manteo when we come to OBX, because of its great location in sleepy Manteo near the top of banks as well as its great value. The hotel renovations were great improvement on the Elizabethan Hotel!

The hallway or exterior lights stay on all night with no way to turn them off. It would be great to have blackout curtains in the room.
