Excellent location. Really proud to spend New Year's Eve here. The atmosphere was full of positive energy and they really surprised us with the special arrangements for New Year's Eve, including candles, cheerful atmosphere, cakes, dancing and tea. We spent one night in a tent with my wife and two children aged 5 and 7 years. Meteorite is a private camp that we enjoyed sharing the experience with other visitors. My daughters were happy with this experience. People were good. The direction was perfect, the food was delicious and Awad was a private guide. The tour was great! I recommend it!,,

Full-Day Jeep Tour: "Wadi Rum Highlights" and overnight in the camp was our best day ever in Jordan. Our excellent guide awad take very good care of us while taking us around the desert, exploring the canyons and explaining the sites we visited, taking stunning pictures of us, and cooking us a delicious lunch followed by a casual afternoon break after lunch. The whole experience was great. We loved it and we highly recommend the guide and the tour. They are one of of the best!

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Super well organised with an amazing team. Perfect mixture of personal and group entertainment. Sleeping arrangements were great, I slept in a tent (more like a nice cabin) one night and outside one night. Food provided was great and a plenty too (great for being vegan too, 80% of the food automatically was). The showering and bathroom facilities were honestly the best out of anywhere I’d been my whole Jordan trip and it was in the middle of a desert. Would highly recommend.

Super ontvangst en tip top geregeld. Je wordt helemaal ontlast en krijgt de ultieme Wadi Rum ervaring onder begeleiding van de locals. We zijn met de jeeps bij verschillende highlights gebracht en hebben een ultieme nacht in de woestijn doorgebracht. Er wordt iedere dag verse gekookt met locale producten, het eten is heerlijk!

We spent only one night in Wadi Rum but it was the highlight of our trip in Jordan. Thanks to Awad, we had the chance to explore Wadi Rum, ride a camel and sleep in a Bedouin camp. Not only the view was mind blowing, but our host was kind, funny and share with us a lot of history about Jordan and his culture. During the night, we had a delicious dinner in the camp and spent the rest of the evening talking around the fire. It was a beautiful and rich experience. A really amazing experience staying at this traditional Bedouin camp inside Wadi Rum. Perfect view, including view to the magic sunset and the brilliant night sky with millions of stars. Delicious Arab food and very friendly staff. My best recommendations.

There’s no words to describe the beauty of this place.... My sister and I stayed for 2 nights in the camp, and we loved it. Everything was perfect, from the camp itself which is clean and has a breathtaking scenery from the main tent; to the amazingly kind staf,,,, ! You are amazing The dinners were sooooo gooood omg Don’t hesitate a second to chose this camp, your experience will be complete with this choice.

It was very nice staying here. Incredible tents. They prepare Delicious meals and breakfast. We also did the dessert tour by car. You go all the places worth. Have lunch and take a nap in the silence of the dessert. We had a good time there!!!

Absolutely incredible. I could not have asked for anything more. Awad, our host, was extremely kind and invited into his home for tea and food before taking us on an incredible tour of the protected area. It's impossible to put into words how breathtaking it was. When we arrived at the camp we had delicious local food, slept in extremely comfortable beds, and had toilets and hot showers. You absolutely MUST book with this camp - there are many "fake" camps which outside the protected area. 1000% I recommend this camp!

Staying at Wadi Rum protected area camp is truly a one in a life time experience and something you will not be forgetting anytime soon. You will be welcomed with open arms by awad and his lovely family. I travelled alone and didn't feel alone once. From the moment you leave Wadi Rum village its just magical. The camp is located in one of the best spots for the sunset and sunrise in Wadi Rum. The tents are lovely, with a great view in the morning but I recommend sleeping under the stars on the beds provided. You can also book jeep tours for the day through awad which will take you to all the best spots around wadi rum. This is a must do and great value for money. You will not regret staying here. Beautiful experience in so many ways

The Camp was amazing! We got picked up just after the visitor centre and from there we took the 4h jeep tour we booked ahead and had a great time! Also the camel ride was awesome. We also loved the dinner we got. The hosts were great and very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay there! A big thank you!

Nothing big really, a towel in the bathroom would be nice for not wasting toilet paper in case :)

Amazing place! One of my favorite places to stay in the world! The scenery is incredible, the food super tasty and the people become your friends in a second. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Truly amazing!

The whole experience was great! Sleeping in the bedouin camp in Wadi Rum desert was something special. They organized the walk with the camels which was great and the desert trip for one day which of course was amazing especially Abdulah who drove us through the desert and made us lunch. The whole experience was absolute great!!!

Awad was a great host! He was responsive and helpful. He set up our tour with his friend. The food and ambience was great. The bathrooms were great. There were showers were nice and built into the rock. The tents were comfortable. Everything was fantastic. I would recommend to anyone for a traditional Bedouin experience

You cannot beat this location! Even from seeing the other camps in Wadi Rum, Awad’s camp was in the perfect location! Awad was very communicative from the beginning and picked us up from the car park in Wadi Rum village which we accessed easily with the Jordan Pass. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were also always clean. We got to experience the Bedouin dinner each night we were there and the food was delicious! We chose to do the full day tour with Awad and we were so happy we did! We got to see everything there was to offer and have a once in a lifetime sunset to finish off the day! If you choose to stay in wadi rum then this is the camp to do it at!

The food is so good, the tents are sweet and I can really recommend the full day Jeep tour! In the night you can see the Milky Way with your eyes! The area around this camp is really nice, there is a mountain with some caves that you can explore on your own. Thank you so much for this nice experience and showing me more about the real Bedouin life. I will definitely come back!

The full day Jeep tour they offer was also a huge trip highlight and the traditional food provided was delicious!! We spent the nights sitting around the camp fire while our new Bedouin friends told us stories, fun facts, danced, star gazed, took awesome long exposure shots, sung and showed us how loud and echoey the desert is! Normally the saying goes ‘if it’s too good to be true, it probably is’. This is the only case in my experience where the experience was actually above and beyond what I expected, and I would recommend this camp to anyone.

Our tour guide was super nice and funny - full day itinerary but never felt rushed, nice lunch prepared onsite at the valley and great sunset location at the Wadi Rum. Camp site staffs were also awesome - great dinner followed by a relaxing evening chatting with other tour mates around the fireplace. The toilet/shower facility as well as the single bed/tent was also beyond my expectation

It was fantastic, had lots of fun. Awad was very friendly and fun. Wadi Rum definitely had amazing views.

Best experience in dessert! Guys were amazing and were really helpful! We also did the 4h jeep tour from this camp with Abdulla and it was best experience! Also recommending camel tour in the sunrise

Amazing experience, I couldn’t recommend it more. Everything was perfect. I did the full day tour in the desert and loved it. Our guide Abdullah was great: he walked with us, gave us explanations, took photos for us. The whole day was just a surprise after the other. At the end of the tour we arrived at the camp which is in the best location: at the base of a mountain with a stunning view of the desert. The tend was nice and cosy, and the restrooms are new and very clean, with nice showers with hot water. My favourite part was the common tent where we had dinner and the cave. Yes, there’s a cave! They showed us how Bedouins cook and we enjoyed a beautiful dinner together, followed by some chats around the fire in the cave and watched the stars. The most incredible experience ever!

Amazing experiences, beautiful bedouins village, really nice bedouin guys. This place has cave in the mountain with fireplace and places for sitting. At evening there is really unforgetable atmosphere. The food was very nice and there were also vegan options. You can buy there a shisha and watch stars.

The camp is set in a stunning location, the tents are clean and new, same for the toilets. Dinner was amazing, cooked by the chef in traditional bedouin way, and the main tent and cave with fire are perfect to spend the night around the cave with stories from bedouin life by the owners. And staring at the starry sky was unbelievable too.

My experience was amazing! The best thing was the staff, they were very kind and positive. They made the experience unique. I enjoyed the conversations about the campfire. The food was delicious. The camp location is perfect, we had the chance to get wet either at sunset or sunrise. I highly recommend the jeep tour. Actual must do. Nice site! Wonderful staff. The price was definitely great as they also organized airport transfers. I also got to experience the real Bedouin life and met the families who call this place their home. Nice experience!

One of the most amazing experience of my life. Our hosts did an incredible job, they gave their heart and soul to entertain us and make us feel comfortable. So welcoming, friendly, kind people. I am so glad for them…. And the food also. And Samba. I recommend this beautiful camp everybody who wants to experience something magnificent.

This camp exceeded my expectations… it’s located in a special area of the desert, it’s attached to the mountains where you can find peace and be connected with nature. The view of the mountains are unique. The view from the window of the room is breathtaking. it’s not just a place to stay its the hole experience! I definitely want to be come back here… I highly recommend this camp!!!

Great little camp in a great location, food was great and tours were amazing!!!

Reading all the amazing reviews I was expecting exceptional welcome and stories about bedouin life..I was disappointed that atmosphere in the camp was a little flat..staff did not make us feel much welcomed and they were busy on their phones by the fire..i had to intervene and asked our guide Awad that we feel disappointed as there was nothing going on..no stories by the fire..guest were left to their own devices. After that staff made some effort to answer our questions about bedouin life but it felt stiff and with no enthusiasm from them..just a round of Q&A!! 😩the previous night was apparently more lively and guests were offered shisha for free however we had to ask for it and pay 5JOD.
