Very well located with a ocean view.

Exceptional service for the price. View from the balcony and rooftop was awesome. Room had all the required amenities. Room size was good compared to other similar ones in Fort. Free breakfast on the balcony with the view was perfect.

It would be better if the facilities could improve more with quality.
Bedsheets were not clean. Bed also bit broken and decayed.
Not much space in the washroom. Even I couldn't manage to sit properly on the commode.

The best location in Galle. Rooms and bathrooms are simple but clean. The balconies are shared but the roof terrace is really nice edition for watching the sunset over the ramparts. Breakfast was delicious and traditional. Our hosts were fabulous and extremely kind offering us to share their Ramadan meal and gave us a lift the station in the early morning.
Ants in the room but were quickly dealt with a spray.

the location of rampart view guesthouse was perfect, just a few minutes walk from everything in the fort you’d like to see. great for a short stay. the hosts were welcoming

We chose the double room with ocean view! The room and arrangements were superb! The view was awesome too! The room has all the amenities such TV, Water Heater, Coffee making stuffs, Electric Kettle, Air-Conditioner, Hair dryer, and bath towels. The bathroom was okay.
The room has a balcony type arrangement too which opens to the Rampart Ocean View!
The breakfast should definitely be improved! They seem to provide same breakfast everyday! They should at least add some Sri Lankan Authentic foods or English Breakfast! And the WiFi didn’t work at all!

If you are used to the hotel, it will be of a low level to you, but if you are used to the guest house, it will be sufficient and nice for you. The presence of some insects and this is normal in most of Sri Lanka.

Convenient location with a beautiful view of the fort and beach ahead. Hosts were very warm and welcoming.
Could add sausages or baked beans to the breakfast menu.

Great location directly opposite the beach, really friendly family who run it and helped us arrange a taxi to columbo airport.
the balcony outside isn’t private so we felt a little bit over looked - one of the other guests was having a super noisy conversation pacing outside our room. also the curtains are pretty see through so it’s handy to have a sarong or something to cover it.

If you plan to stay more than one night (especially more than one person) I would recommend another place because it's quite small and a bit run down already.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Lovely view over the ramparts to the sea. Clean cool room with very adequate facilities. Excellent breakfast they even made coconut rotis specially when I said I liked them. Nice terrace for breakfast or sunset which can also be viewed from the roof. Recommend

Location and views are amazing. You are directly by the bastion where people come for sunset. You can climb to the roof and sit there with views. Breakfast was good and owner was nice.
Bathroom needs some maintenance. Value for money could be better, as it was not that cheap.
