My friends and I had the most amazing time at at this rental! We spent most of our time lounge around the house and had so much fun. There are so many different spaces to relax and we felt like we had plenty of room to either spread out or come together. The rooftop patio and hot tub was amazing especially to stargaze. We absolutely loved this location! The house was clean and had plenty of space for our party of 10. We visited in December, so the hot tub was a welcome commodity. The house is in a great location, with only a short walk to the beach, dining, and shopping. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Absolutely loved the house - great location just a few blocks from the beach. Tons of space, including the amazing rooftop terrace and hot tub! Two things that would be great - dressers in all the bedrooms (not enough storage for clothes as-is), and blinds on the upper window in the upstairs bedroom (sun came streaming in at 8 am every day). We would've definitely rated our stay as excellent since the house was amazing and was exactly what our family was looking for, however, the cleaning crew did not finish cleaning the house until 1 hour after check-in and left all of the trash from the previous tenants overflowing for racoons to get into. Home was very close to beach! Nice area of Folly Beach with the best amenities. Loved the porches with tons of seating, the ice machine was a nice touch with a big family. The rental agency even went out and bought a blender as there was one was on listing but we couldn't find it and dropped it off. The ONLY complaint was whomever cleans for them did a HORRIBLE job! Several areas were clearly not cleaned. When we arrived we quickly cleaned some things and it worked out fine but they need a new cleaning company!!!!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - even though we had to leave 1 day early to beat IAN. There are many stairs, so be prepared - especially going from the ground level to the hot tub on the roof - worth it! The ice maker in the kitchen is a great bonus. The outdoor grill could use some maintenance, as well as the hot water system - sporadic at best. Comfortable living and dining areas, the master suite was lovely. We were on Folly Beach to celebrate our son's wedding reception. The High Tides was a perfect house for us. I would recommend it for anyone who needs lots of space for guests. I booked this house for a girls weekend getaway. It was just as described with tall ceilings, comfy beds and loads of space so the 7 of us never felt crammed together. The management company is extremely communicative and quick to respond. The location is awesome-just 3 blocks from the main Folly road with shops and bars and restaurants so you really can walk everywhere. Also we were just a couple blocks from the beach! The rooftop is huge as well. No ocean view but plenty of ocean breezes and you can see the sunset. Very nice! Only downside to our stay was the hot tub was working but not actually heating up but the management company immediately compensated us upon request. I would definitely stay at this rental again. (One suggestion: get a couple full length mirrors and some additional wine glasses-then this place is perfect!) From MyOceanRental: Thank you so much for the awesome review! Great spot for a family vacation. Easy walk to the beach and short drive to downtown Charleston. Highly recommend. House was roomy and had plenty of space. Kitchen, living room & dining area was exactly what we needed.

Nice house. Lots of porches and space. Property management was a little forgetful about some maintenance issues, but I made them aware (multiple times). I’m sure it will be even more perfect for the next family.

We enjoyed our stay on Folly Beach. This home is in a great location and is well kept. It is a short walk to the beach. It is not on the best street, many of the homes next to it are not in good shape. One of the doors wouldn't lock and it made me feel unsafe. This home has a lot of stairs! The tv in the living room did not work for most of our stay and they were not able to fix it. Also, the dishes did not seem clean and the drawers need to be cleaned out. It would be nice if beach towels and chairs were supplied as well. Overall it is a great house!

Wonderful home in a great location. The home was perfect for a family vacation. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the wrap around porch. The upper deck provided a place for everyone to relax after busy days on the island. The house was well equipped with everything needed for preparing meals. The layout worked well with three rooms on the first floor. Folly Island offered something for everyone.

We loved our stay at your beautiful home! The home was very clean, the mattresses were beyond comfortable, great location and the staff was very accommodating with a late check out. There is plenty of room for oir group to spread out. We loved the area and Lowlife Bar (outstanding food and cocktails) right down the street. I’d highly recommend staying here. *house could use some dish towels though and a few extra blankets*

This is a nice house with quality finishings and a great layout for a group of friends. There were a couple things missing - no filtered water from fridge and a broken grill. But we still had a great time. FYI - noise does travel through the house pretty easily. We had small kids and we had to be very quiet in order for them to sleep. Overall we'd definitely rent this house again!

We stayed here for a family trip and had a great time! The decoration is beautiful and the rooftop with the hot tub was amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful home and great location, highly recommend! Would go back again. We’ve stayed on Folly quite a few times and this house is near the top of my list.

My family of 8 adults and 4 children enjoyed our stay at the High Tides! Place was as spacious as shown in the pictures. Definitely plenty of room for a large family with 3 full baths and powder room. Location was excellent with a quick walk to beach and shopping/restaurants so no need for a golf cart rental. Kitchen was well equipped and the outside decks and rooftop were fabulous. A couple hiccups impacted my review to 4 which was specifically the ice machine was not working which was tough in 90+ degree heat. In addition, the elevator was also not working. Recommendation to owner would be to install some insect/mosquito traps around the outdoor space and down in garage.

We had a great time at this beach house. Truly magical location and beautiful house. The only drawback was that the elevator and ice maker weren’t working. The elevator was particularly a bummer since we had elderly folks in our group

The house was great, loved the space, loved the location, loved the hot tub. Definitely be prepared for the stairs, would be great if the elevator worked.

We all agreed that we would stay here again or recommend it to friends. Walking distance to beach and town. Had a slight problem with a drain and it was taken care of immediately. Management kept in touch from our arrival to our departure. Minutes to Charleston and sightseeing. Everything was top notch. We kept saying that it was too nice to be a rental.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is fabulous as is the location. The roof deck is definitely a highlight - being able to sit out there on an evening and listen to the waves was something special. Well equipped property and spacious, though there were only 4 of us - one in each bedroom. Communication with the management company when we needed a propane tank for the grill was easy to deal with and it was delivered the next day. Only one thing - the upstairs bedroom didn't have curtains/blinds in the east facing window which meant sunlight hit the bed early in the morning. Probably would be good to rectify. But definitely overall a 5 star experience. Thank you!

Simple and acurate

We loved staying here for our spring break vacation. The house is huge and is located close to all kinds of local restaurants and bars! We rented a golf cart and went everywhere on it. This house was perfect! We had a few issues with the house (nothing major) but the owners got back immediately and sent someone to repair immediately. We will be back for many years to come!
