Comfortable and full of character, we were really happy with our stay. The host was very helpful and gave us some great recommendations. The apartment has lots of art to discover and it was quiet at night so we slept really well. We had stayed in lots of very modern apartments on this trip so we loved the personality and charm of this place. There was plenty to eat for breakfast. We liked being close to Bluff lookout and a short drive down the hill into town.

What a magical place, so full of character and charm, so comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay at this gem of a place, everything was just right. Highly recommended if you're looking for accommodation in Napier with genuine personality.

maybe not pristine clean, but comfortable and very acceptable. I really wouldn’t want to change anything, it has real charm.

comfy bed, good linen, hot shower, large kitchen

was told not to use the oven? when you book a place with a kitchen you expect to be able to use the oven. breakfast in bed and breakfast was food left in the fridge for you to make yourself. however didn’t like the fact there was jars, butter and milk already opened sand used by others. lightbulb was missing in one bedroom. couldn’t work out how to turn off the outside light. owner did not reply to my text message.

Breakfast was great

Homely, quirky and full of interesting art work and artefacts. Well appointed kitchen and good range of breakfast materials. Mario is friendly accomodating host.

Just the shower. Needs a larger square curtain or cubicle sides to make more comfortable to use.

Location. Loved the decor, photos etc.

Only a small detail but the bed in the master bedroom could have a slightly softer mattress.
