Owner of the hostel was so helpful and friendly. Location is perfect. Near to supermarket, night market, restaurants, scooter rentals... simple and more than pleasant stay.🙂

comfy beds, great location if you need something close to the pier

the toilet in the dorm doesn’t work and the owner won’t fix it until wet season… the rooftop is an amazing space but there is no light, no fresh water refill, owners seem more stressed than caring about the property

Flexible with the dates (we booked a day too early and it was no problem to fix), clean room, nice rooftop to eat breakfast at.

The toilets were not so clean and there was no toilet paper.

Beds were comfy but lacked curtains. Bathrooms and common areas were exceptionally clean thanks to the Thai woman there constantly cleaning.

No control over the AC, owner has it set at 27. If you want to sleep in or sleep all day after the full moon party forget it, the owner comes in the room around 9am and turns the AC off and the opens the blinds and all the windows. Everytime you’d shut them she’d come back in and open them. There were fans in the room but she wouldn’t allow use of them

Central location

The room had a transparent glass panel in between the wall and the ceiling which let light comes in from the hallway and from the other rooms. It's pretty much day light 24h. Extremely noisy in the morning since it was facing the street. Impossibile to sleep on the metal frames bed which will make a creepy noise at any body movement. The owner should be running a baguette shop not a guesthouse

location is perfect, right in the center of island. the dorm room is good, big and bright. the rooftop with 2 hammocks is amazing.

there is no good beach nearby (nor just a beach) there are 2 toilets but one doesn’t work - it’s only one for 2 private rooms and 1 dorm. no toilet paper because “it usually gets wet”. there is a kitchen but the stove doesn’t work because “it’s dangerous”, microwave same. for me there is no sense to have all these kitchen stuff non-working, just remove it all. because I thought I could cook, not only me btw the owner has a remote, it’s always with her and you can’t control ac temperature in the nights - once we got freeze. no option to pay by card.

It's a 10 min walk from the pier and you're close to a family mart that is open 24h.

The nights are very noisy if you got a room to the (main) road. The french owner was focused on making money without having too much to deal with, multiple hints pointed in that direction. It felt a bit cold and clinical. The toilets were extraordinarily clean, though you'd have to bring your own toilet paper and there's only two bathrooms for around 6 rooms (estimated). In crunch times they are occupied quite often, so don't hold back your "business" for too long. The owner insisted _multiple_ times on not turning on the AC when I'm not in the room (I got it the first time - since that's common sense), the freezer was plugged out initially, the lights had to be turned off everywhere even in the hallways. The guests there were very private and didn't seem to want to talk.

where do I begin? we lost our key to the room and the people before us had also lost it so she didn’t have a spare key available. So, there is no way to get back into our room. We had to climb on a tiny ledge over on the outside of the building, a story up to get to our window. once we got in she had to change the lock and we had to pay almost half which is u fair because it was her fault she didn’t have an extra key. we also had to pay for the kitchen which wasn’t really a kitchen. basically only cutlery. roof top area was dirty. staff was an issue for sure.
