Beautiful view of the ocean

Check-in is super nice and super friendly to post girls who are in the front desk. Also the golf cart drivers take you in and out of the hotel are excellent. Such a great convenience.

The views were absolutely incredible. The pool was amazing and the heated pool was a nice feature. The breakfast was great especially for one that is included.

For the price of the room the standards weren’t really up to par. Quite a few things the room were poorly put together and you could tell. Also no room service was quite a drag as well, having to go all the way to the front for some drinks wasn’t exactly ideal. It was quite the process as well to figure out to order a beverage as well.

I loved everything about this property because everyone was helpful in every aspect. Including the pick up service from the boat and drop off. This hotel was perfect because of the awesome teamwork and great customer service. I will definitely come back!

The WiFi network was a bit slow and this made it difficult for me since I had to do some online work.

A little run down, but we stayed in the older building on the property.

The junior suite was pleasantly sized with a king bed and fold-out couch that accommodated my four person family comfortably. The ocean view was a work of art. It boasted views of the marina and its beautiful boats and hillsides with lovely residential architecture.

Actually everything was pretty nice. Just keep in mind that it’s located on a hill which puts you about about 3 or 4 blocks away from the main tourist area with all the restaurants. It makes for a nice little cardio walk when you’re going back up hill, but they do offer a hotel shuttle that will pick you back up (as well as drop you off) if you call them so it works out for everyone.

Staff exceeds expectations. They provided good recommendations about local resturants and tourist attractions. They were pleasant and friendly. Had awesome view of Avalon harbor.

We came here for a getaway from the city and absolutely fell in love with it! We booked the king suite and got THE best view you could imagine. Very spacious room and romantic, we loved the balcony and the ample his and hers bathroom and bathtub too. the breakfast was great every morning, and the staff was very friendly!

the only complaint I have is that there was a stain on the couch that looked like blood or wine (?), we let them know but they still didn’t get round to cleaning it so we didn’t sit there for the time we stayed but it wasn’t a huge issue as we were out most of the time.

Complimentary pickup/drop off from ferry and to town. I like the fact that it isn’t too far from town. Staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations and things to do on the island. It was our 32 year anniversary and we were not disappointed at all. We had a beautiful clean room, the views are gorgeous from our room, the pool, and the restaurant. They had everything we needed to be comfortable in our room. We definitely want to come back again!

I was very impressed with the shuttle service available to and from town on a moments notice. I loved the fact that the hotel was aware that travelers arriving before check in time would appreciate being able to store their luggage; the same accommodation was made at check-out, with our luggage being delivered to the ferry dockside just before sailing. The building was historically significant but tastefully remodelled. The views from all sides were magnificent. The private balcony ran the length of the suite, overlooking the bay. Our room was clean, spacious and well-appointed.

Hot water - it took a very long time to get lukewarm water for a shower.

Gorgeous views! The rooms were beautifully decorated and dripping with sunlight. The beds were soooo comfortable. Rooms were big and could fit all our baby gear, travel crib, etc. The included breakfast was delicious. The golf cart shuttle to town was quick (<5 mins) and convenient (we could bring our infant on our lap and felt safe). Would stay again if we were visiting Catalina!

Only reason im giving this place a 5 and not lower is because the staff was very nice and accommodating. We loved the golf cart service to and from downtown. The bed was super comfortable. View and location was amazing.

We paid over 600 dollars per night for the deluxe king room. There were 2 sections in the room, one where the bed and balcony were and other was a mini living room area. The area where the bed and bathroom were were clean but all the furniture in "living room" area was stained and dirty. We reached out to get compensation for this for it was not worth the value we paid but were denied the request. I'm still upset that they could not come to an agreement for this.

the rooms reeked as an old smell!! very uncomfortable bed and pillows. the bathroom didn't have hot water.

Beautiful location and view. Nicely decorated. Our first room - the door handle broke - they quickly moved us to an upgraded room. The room had an actual door key. Not one of those cheap cards to get in. It felt like staying at a friends place.

Hot water didn’t last long. Two showers in and it was barely warm. Not used to the California weed. First room reeked of skunk weed.
