The room was excellent , clean toilet attached with the room nd a separate nd personal balcony. The ac was also too good as the room was cooled in minutes.

Property location is in centre of city. Areas like Park Street are easily accessible by walking. Property is well maintained and there is no disturbance around the area.

Nice and homely breakfast. During stay I felt that I am staying with my family in a luxury home. The owners and their parents are so cordial and friendly. I have a plan to stay in the same property along with my wife and child during my next trip to Kolkata.

My stay at The Moira was great. Location is pefect to get around. Room was very spacious. Family was very kind and it is nice to see how todays Middle class in Kalkuta lives. Breakfast is simpl, as they have it, but if you know that this is home stay and not hotel, si perfect. They also adopt to your wishes for breakfast. Buildings in Kolkata have problems with humidty and this can be seen in the room, but you also see that they try to solve it. I was travelling solo and I felt very safe in the room and on the street...it is lighter street.

Our family of four stayed in adjoining rooms at the Moira Bed and Breakfast for three nights in the first week of March. The house is beautifully furnished and extremely safe. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with all the amenities you would find in a hotel. Housekeeping staff is excellent and the breakfast was simple, freshly made and adequate. The location is quiet and convenient just a five minute walk to bustling Park Street and cabs are plentifully available. Although we did not meet Mr Mehul, he was always in touch with us to ensure that we had a comfortable and fantastic stay. Great place to stay for families.

Not easy to find the first time

Lovely large spacious well equipped room in a beautiful private home. Host family are very warm and accommodating. The room is very quite for sleeping. short walk or Uber to restaurants. Nice breakfast with a choice of foods.

We stayed at The Moira for five days on our first visit to Kolkata. It's extremely well located, right off Park Street and with plenty of transportation options, great restaurants and things to see very close by. We had a spacious, clean, comfy room with all the amenities we needed. The rooms are in a gorgeous private complex that feels safe and is beautifully maintained. The definite highlight of this stay were the hosts-- Mehul and his family were absolutely fantastic, going far above and beyond to make our time there as comfortable and memorable as possible. Highly recommended.

The WiFi connection randomly dropped for 10-15 minute intervals multiple times, which was a minor annoyance.

The location of the property is suited to staying in Kolkata. The property is very close to Kolkata’s Park Street. Famous restaurants and eateries are within 2 kms of range. The property is clean and gives you a decent stay experience. You are living with a family but with your own private space.

The location is good, the room was quite large for 3 Adults.

The service is not proper, you have to look for someone who can help with water etc. or have to call the owner. No TV in the room. The complimentary breakfast was a disaster. Offered fruits (not fresh) and Juice and the Kheer ( it seems leftover of the last day party). Not recommended for the charges we have paid. They should improve the facility

Breakfast lacks options. They serve you some random indian dishes and random fruits, and offer an omelet. That's it. They could at least give you some options to choose what you would like to eat. Offering some occidental options would be a plus (bread and butter maybe)
