This fabulous home was our private resort for a week. Tucked away on a quiet street with stunning views of the sea from many different vantage points. High quality furnishings and a chef's kitchen made us feel right at home. The pool and hot tub were used daily, with plenty of space to lounge, have beverages or barbecue . This location is minutes away from beaches, bike paths, shopping and restaurants. Laura and her staff did such a tremendous job prior to us arriving we didn't need to reach out for anything! My family and I look forward to returning soon.

We traveled to California for a pre-baby/anniversary/birthday getaway so we decided to splurge on where we stayed for our trip. This is by far the nicest Vrbo we've ever stayed at. We had 2 families all together - 4 adults and 3 kids under 3 years old. The set up of the bedrooms worked perfectly for us to keep our families on separate levels. It was great to have the master and the bunk beds on one floor and the 2 rooms with queen beds on the main level. The host was so accommodating when I talked to her about traveling with little ones and had a pack n play and high chair there for us to use. The home itself is stunning, well furnished and stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook as we ate most of our meals at the property. We paid to have the pool heated and were very glad we did since it was only about 60 degrees the whole time we were there. Everyone loved using the pool and the hot tub since it wasn't great weather to go to the beach most of the days. There were some pools toys for the kids, plenty of towels and outdoor seating/amenities. The house does have multiple levels, which means lots of stairs, so anyone traveling should be mindful of that. It was super close to coffee shops, tons of yummy restaurants and a quick drive to the San Diego zoo. The only other feedback I have is the pricing- I wish more of the costs were just built into the nightly rate. (Ie: charge for heating/Ac, pool, housekeeping, damage insurance, etc) it starts to get hard to compare places/prices when the nightly rate says one thing and then there are multiple "add on's" that aren't really optional. To have more just reflected in the price would feel more transparent. All in all, this place was everything we wanted- beautiful, clean, great location to beach, stores, restaurants, tourist attractions, heated pool/jacuzzi and an incredibly attentive and helpful host. We would definitely return the next time we are in the area.

The property is absolutely amazing! The house was so spacious. Full of all the ammenities you would need. Quiet neighborhood on a dead end street. Close to so much! Laura was absolutely amazing to work with. Can not say enough good things. Can not wait to return!

The best equipped VRBO I have ever stayed in. The hosts clearly understand a travelers needs. The House felt like a house. I could go on and on about how great the house is. The pool and spa were a great temperature. The neighborhood is quiet and superb for walking 10/10. Laura was very helpful as a host. We're already looking at the calendar.

Exceeded most expectations

This was a great family chill house. We stayed 4 days, enjoyed the pool, comfortable house, and quiet of the neighborhood. The owner was extremely quick to reply, kind and accommodating of our needs and requests, and was an overall excellent hostess

We really enjoyed our stay in Cardiff. The home was large and very comfortable. Master bedroom was great with lots of space, very nice bathroom, and impressive walk in closet. The two bedrooms off the kitchen also were very comfortable, both with en suite bathrooms. The upstairs living room was a very nice gathering area for our family! Outside pool area is great with lots of sitting/lounging areas. Location was convenient to downtown Encinitas and only minutes from I5.

Very well stocked and we also enjoyed the beach gear. Laura was easy to communicate with and responsive. Highly recommend!

My family and I truly enjoyed every aspect of this home. It was a beautiful, serene environment that had everything we needed to comfortably stay for almost a week. The home was well appointed with everything you could need. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space with the heated pool & hot tub and my 4-year-old was delighted with all the available pool & beach toys. The location was wonderful - it was close to restaurants and the beach, but very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time in this home and neighborhood. Our stay was very relaxing and comfortable.

The property is lovely and the best part was that while everything is very modern it’s also super cozy! The beds, couches, linens, blankets, towels, all was superb! My only complaint is that some of the rules seemed a little over the top but I suppose that’s there to prohibit a certain type of guest, although I don’t believe I read all of the rules before arriving. For instance, the maximum of 5 visitors allowed to come see us between 10-5:00. It didn’t end up making a difference to us, we hung out with the family all week but I might suggest easing them or adding to the posting (perhaps it is in there & I missed the fine print). Either way, I still rate the property a 5! It truly is beautiful, spacious, and cozy!

The place is amazing. There are ocean views from the top. It has lots of space for everyone and is modern and up to date. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Only downside is we couldn’t quite get the hot tub hot and the coffee machine didn’t work for us.

pros super nice place with a good view from upper levels. the quality of all of the furnishings was apparent and appreciated. 2 coffee makers (nespresso and old school filter), tv's in every room, comfy beds, comfy outdoor furniture, nice hot tub, ample space. also the owner was very fast and easy to communicate with. even was able to work with us to cancel and rebook since i accidentally forgot to add the insurance which VRBO could not add post-booking. also they have a lot of fun toys for the kiddos to use for the beach and pool as well. cons very few things were not great and honestly these are spoiled first world complaints. pool temp is a bit to cold (85 F) and cannot be increased (my daughters were to cold to swim so only used the hot tub which is disappointing because one of the main appeals for our family was the pool). the main room runs hot compared to the rest of the house. could not open up the roof for the patio to allow sun in nor could turn on the heaters to warm up the cool nights. again these are kind of excessive complaints. WOULD DEF STAY AGAIN. THANKS FOR A GREAT PLACE

This home is terrific. It was better than advertised and our family completely enjoyed our stay. We were there for the month of August and it flew by. The location is convenient to everything but with a large amount of privacy and views. Thanks Laura for a great stay. David

Staying in Cardiff at this beautiful home was a fantasy vacation come true. Working with Laura was a joy and she is now a family friend. The location was walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. The view was spectacular and you will never want to leave!
