What an excellent place to stay! centrally located. grocery store around the corner. small bar across the street for a night cap. easy walk to everywhere. We took a wine tour and seems the main pickup spot for tours is a few minutes walk. The apartment was very comfortable. I would definately rebook here! Cant wait to come back. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect location and very convenient to walk everywhere. Pictures of listing were very accurate but the whole apartment was bigger than we expected. Charlotte was very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. When we had some difficulties getting our car to the apartment at the end of our stay due to some unexpected road issues, Charlotte went out of her way to help us navigate the very challenging roads. She is a real gem and so is the apartment. We would stay there again if we return.

Fabulous light, spacious apartment with all the amenities required, with wonderful views of the Porte Caihau and perfect location to enjoy the beautiful city of Bordeaux.

The apartment is not far from the river, close to the tram, and very adjacent to lots of restaurants etc. It is no more than a few hundred metres from the main shopping streets. Although on the 4th floor of an old building there is a perfectly adequate, albeit small, lift. Working TV and wi-fi, nice comfortable chairs and beds. One unfortunate side-effect of the old building with shutters is that the curtains seemed difficult to erect, were very tall, and failed to keep out early morning light effectively. It was very hot and humid weather, and the fans provided were appreciated. It is probably my fault but we failed to spot in the specification that the kitchen had only two electric rings and no oven. There was a "dual" microwave, which purported to work as a small oven, but in practice didn't appear to, its temperature seemingly always 220F. This meant that if one wanted to visit markets and self-cater it wasn't easy. We found the manager most charming and helpful, booking us a taxi back to the airport and helping with at least one other query. Strongly recommended for location and comfort, and the caveats mentioned may not be an issue for many.
