The apartment was well-structured, spotlessly clean, and had a lot of storage space for clothing, books, whatever. Visitors can unpack easily -- even for a longer stay. The fridge and freezer are large, stove works well, and the small appliances were all in good condition and just what we needed.
We enjoyed the neighborhood, which is very diverse, with lots of options for cuisine.
The public transport into Toronto is excellent (easier with a Presto card that can be purchased at Shopper's Drug Mart) and takes about an hour -- well worth the time to avoid traffic and parking!
The one day we were in the apartment during the day, the art class upstairs could be heard, but it was not excessive in any way and everything was done by supper time.
In short, a good choice if you are willing to be a little bit out of the city proper.
The hosts checked in every couple of days to make sure everything was okay and to offer help if need be. They were great.

Property was in great location because this stay was a family reunion. Many restaurants and shops in walking distance.

Although there were some uncharacteristic issues with the cleanliness of the property, the host was quick to communicate, explain and respond to our issues reported. This property is close to the GO transit line, and central to Richmond Hill, Thornhill, and an easy commute to the 404/407 by car. If you have a car and wish to go downtown, parking at Finch subway station is the best route and an easy 30 minute commute via subway all the way to the lakeshore.
If you are scent sensitive, you may wish to let the host know in advance so that plug ins and a non-scented detergent can be used for your linens.
The beds were firm but super comfortable, and the unit was fully stocked for cooking. Overall, an enjoyable place to stay short term:)

I had the worst experience of travelling to Toronto and there; when we wanted to sleep, a dirty spot was on the bedsheet; also, While I was staying there, the host always wanted to respond to her messages, and we had no relaxation while we were there. After checkout, they noticed an 80$ charge because of that dirty spot, which was unbelievable. I don't recommend it at all.

My partner and I stayed for a little over a week while I recovered from surgery. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Very convenient location to grocery stores and good restaurants. Some noise from upstairs during art classes but it wrapped up before bedtime. Sadly due to circumstances we were not able to partake in a complimentary art class but the opportunity is certainly a perk for anyone with a creative interest.

We were very happy with our stay! We are a small family of 3 and our daughter is only 8, so the small place suited our needs. Communication with the owner was great! The noise from the studio above can be heard until around 8-9pm, but most of the time it is quiet.

What a great stay! The neighborhood is quaint, appealing and located near everything (restaurants, shopping, recreational activities) as well as quick access to the city. Property is super clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with everything you need during your stay. Hosts are very nice and very communicative. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Very glad we booked here!

This was an absolute GEM of a spot!! So very quiet and any class noise from upstairs we were unaware of because by then we were off exploring Toronto! This is in a very safe neighborhood-I ran and absolutely never felt uncomfortable or vulnerable. It’s a beautiful city with it’s own interesting history. If we go back to Toronto this is very where we’ll stay!!!
Getting information about check in was a bit unnerving for me because I’m always trying to be prepared days in advance. I received all the code information that same day as check in. All was well. We met the owner upon arrival because she runs the art studio in the upstairs of the cute brick house.

Quiet and relaxing stay for our first time visiting Toronto. Wonderful stay and will be returning.

The place itself was cute and comfortable. Small, but good for 1 or 2 people. Parking is easy and very close to the entry. My only issue was the communication with the owner. It took several days and two messages to get a response the first time (pre-visit) and I was never provided with the access code for entry. I sent two more messages about that and then had to go into the owners business and ask someone to track her or the code down for me. The delay in getting in caused me to be late for a rehearsal dinner. By then the parking was full so I had to hunt for parking in a city I’ve never been to, walk several blocks alone at night and get blisters from the dress shoes. I was not a happy camper.

This was the perfect place for my family's trip to Toronto! The apartment was clean, quiet, modern, spacious, safe, it had everything we needed, and Bita, our host, was so lovely. There are many amenities near by including, shopping, restaurants, public transit and Wonderland. Bita runs an art studio upstairs and graciously invited me to have a look around and answered my many paint technique questions. She's an amazing artist, teacher and host.

We booked this stay while attending a family wedding. We wished we could have stayed longer. The place had everything you could possibly think of, microwave, oven, stove, toaster (sliced bread), coffee maker, tea kettle, all sorts of plates and cups and pans. Iron and ironing board. Extremely clean!!!!. Two whole bedrooms with queen comfortable beds. Plenty of closet space and room. Lots of light and bright. Bathroom was very clean and shower head was heavenly.
Our kids really enjoyed attending a 90 min art class.
Would highly recommend it and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Bita for being a gracious host.

Perfect Getaway
True to its word, this property was a clean, nicely decorated stay. There was a lot of charm, from the gorgeous paintings on the walls to the comfortable accommodations (best mattress at a VRBO I've slept in, and I travel A LOT). The shower was relaxing and spacious, the tiny bottles of shampoo provided were high quality, and the fact there was a small parking lot to park in was great. We enjoyed talking to the friendly neighbors, walking up the street to breakfast and coffee, and doing a bit of shopping along Yonge (all on foot). When we had a problem with entry into the apartment on our third night, the owners were over quickly to help us get inside. I would recommend this stay for active travelers who will be out and about a lot, solo travelers or small groups, and those who just need a comfy place to sleep. There is noise throughout the day above the apartment since there is an active artist's studio (Bita's work is amazing, definitely recommend going up there to check it out), so if you need quiet during the day, take that into consideration. Excellent stove/oven & washer/dryer. Has blow dryer, iron, ironing board, lotion for after washing hands. Just so much you don't find at other places. If we went back to Toronto, I would rent again.

Great place to spend Christmas with you family
Me, my girlfriend and my brother booked this place to spend Christmas together. We had a great time baking cookies and watching movies. This place has a really nice cozy feel to it and would definitely stay here again.
