Neighbor is very nice, home was very spacious for my family and I. I recommend this home for family trip.

The house was perfect for our stay!!

A beautiful home in a great location! Clean and easy to check into! Host is very responsive to messages as well! The only reason check in was difficult is because we couldn’t find the guard tower for the parking permit.

The house was very large and accommodated our family perfectly. TVs in each room. Plenty of linens. Game room was small but worked for us. No air in the game room so door had to be propped open. Pool area was great! Issues we encountered were scan code did not work for gate. Parking was very crowded. On weekends noise level was very loud during the nighttime hours. Bin not large enough for trash. Community pool very crowded.

The gate to get in to the community never worked so we had to call and wait to get let in everytime. Not much room to park. Not enough kitchen supplies or towels. But overall nice stay. Bring your own toilet paper, paper towels , and garbage bags.

This house was perfect for our group of 12. It was clean when we arrived, however there were minimal amenities. There were pool towels provided, but minimal bath towels for as many bathrooms as there are and for the number of people that can sleep there. There were a couple of pots, but no other pans or essential kitchen items. Plates, cups, utensils were provided as well as a coffee pot.

Check in/out was exceptional! Neighborhood was excellent! Internet phone access was horrible! I reached out via email, reset the router! It was still spotty at best! Internet kept asking for an updated version, so clearly there is a need for upgrades! That’s my only complaint! Additional thoughts, in a 5 bedroom house, more towels are needed and trash bags would be a plus!

We had a party of 11 with our stay. The beds were fine. The pool was cold so we ended up paying for the heater which is $45 a day. We thought it was a bit steep but the kids really enjoyed the pool so we did it. The house is stocked with kitchen stuff to eat with but that’s about it. No extra toilet paper so we had to buy some. We had to buy dishwasher detergent as well. We also had to purchase garbage bags. While this may be common, we had all stayed at other VRBO’s that supplied at least a few extras of everything. Overall, we were pleased. The community water park is nice but was VERY crowded during our stay. Parking was difficult there, had to park in the road a few times.

This property was just ok. It was not very clean - visible dust balls on lights, floors were dirty like done with a dirty mop, carpet needs cleaning. And the supply stocking was aweful. Barely enough towels. No kitchen supplies-spices, coffee supplies, laundry supplies, tin foil, etc. a very poorly stocked property. Good thing we basically just slept there.

Great setup, comfortable beds perfect for a our needs.

This home was the perfect setup for our family of 11. We were 6 adults and 5 children ages 2 through 9. The layout, furniture, decor & the quality of appliances were all top notch. Check in was a breeze and communication with the property manager was easy.. The home loses a star purely based on cleanliness. Everything was dusty, the base boards, blinds, ceiling fans and chandelier were covered in dust. You could tell that the cleaning service only focuses on the bathrooms and kitchen. The living room was tidy, but it was obvious that the floors hadn't been vacuumed or mopped properly. My child lost a toy under the edge of the couch..... we were disgusted by our findings. One of the bedrooms had hair in the bedding as if the linens hadn't been changed. Overall, I wouldn't choose this property again, because I constantly felt the need to clean area before use. The clothes dryer also did not work properly.

The home was nice but not well equipped for a Thanksgiving dinner. We brought most everything with us but honestly didn’t think about pot holders. They only had one. It’s also a large rental company so unlike owner, VRBO’s home instruction (TV & door alarm) we just had to try and navigate ourselves. The pool was nice. Our grandchildren enjoyed it. If we could offer any advice, make a curtain in the living room that reaches across the window. Neighbor s are so close they can see everything in the house. They are also so close that two homes down a loud party kept us up until 2am. I felt sorry for our neighbors in back of us that we saw had two babies. So mostly good for the 8 of us but the neighbors were sooo annoying.

Great house

Very clean, perfect for a big group.

This property was clean and spacious. Beautiful kitchen and easy for cooking and entertaining. Kiddos loved the pool and enjoyed the upstairs loft for their hangout time. The rooms were spacious and clean and we ALL slept well. Thank you and we will definitely be visiting soon as well recommending to family and friends.

The experience I had with this management company was good in every aspect.

My family and my sisters family stayed at this property. It was GREAT!! We only had one small complaint, it is this house was not equipped for families that cook. They did not have big pots. We may not be the normal group. But we always cook and only eat out about 3 times in a week on vacation. I would stay at this property again and probably will. I highly recommend it for a big family.

This is a great place to stay, minutes from everything.. great amenities in the neighborhood. The house was super clean and my family enjoyed our vacation.

we loved our stay the big house spacious rooms everything works we didn't use the pool because it was very cold super recommend the only suggestion is that the cleaning ladies use clorox inside the boxes it was all wonderful we will be back for sure

Overall the home at Storey lake was ok, the safe didn't work and there was no carpet padding under the carpet so on the first day everyone poked toes and my grandson drew blood so we all started wearing our shoes in the house. These homes are on top of each other so even normal evening conversations at the pool can be very loud several houses down but we had problems with kids screaming in the pools till midnight and parties of what looked like 20 people renting a house for a night or 2 and partying till all hours, bring ear plugs! This does sound very common to the Kissemee rental home market. They brag sanitized but the house was far from clean, I have pictures of the living room rug that was not vacuumed when we arrived, couch that was not cleaned (it was gross in the cracks) and we found a full food bowl rotting in the cupboard about the microwave, there was also something really sticky on the railing from the 2nd floor. The Kitchen was very poorly stocked, Plenty of plates and cups but don't plan on being able to cook much more than a heat N eat frozen meal. They threaten fines for stains on towels but the towels we had were far from stain free and the quality was very poor. It is silly and disgusting for what they charge they can't provide basic amenities like dish soap, dish washer pods, trash bags, disinfecting wipes, paper towels, TP, and coffee filters. These are all items that help renters keep the home clean and protect the owners investment, I own a condo in Mexico that I rent on VRBO for 1/4 of what we paid for this home and we include all those items plus Coffee, Laundry soap, and Bottle water. Overall the response from the concierge was slow if not totally ignored. We had to ask 4 times before we even got a response about a late checkout. They did finally turn the pool heat on after repeated requests and a firm reminder that the pool was advertised as heated and this was not specified to be an additional charge. The pool did seem to have a haze to it so we are not convinced the pool guy is doing his job either. All in all the home worked out for us but we will not recommend Storey lake or Deconova vacations to anyone, very, very disappointing.
