Close to shopping in Taos Hot tub is wonderful Quiet

The property was difficult to find. Directions take you to the owner’s home, not the actual property. Bathroom shower is extremely tiny Beds uncomfortable Outdoor lighting around hot tub not functioning

The hot tub was great. Location was great. Easy to get to and from.

The heat did not work. I contacted the host who said it was radiant floor heating, but I turned it up to 75 and never once felt the heat turn on. We ended up using the space heaters we found in the closet the second night.

Location was close to Taos Plaza. Walking distance. Neighborhood was quiet. Nice size kitchen area and fridge.

Reality was much different than the Bookings presentation. Could not use parking due to low overhang. We had a regular size pick up. This needs to be added to description so travelers can prepare. Had to park in "owners" home drive across a yard and street. The yard upon which the property sat was covered in debris, camper, paraphernalia, and an abundance of rotten apples on the ground making for a cautious trek. The bed was an adjustable bed except it didn't. The bed frame was pretty, but rattled against the wall for every toss and turn. One reason we chose this place was for air conditioning. Was a window unit that didn't work. Would have loved opening windows for the beautiful cool nights of Taos, but no screens. Saw a skunk so leary of keeping the door open at night. Several recessed lights did not work. The plumbing closet and septic drain pipes were located in our apartment so a constant sound of draining water was heard all hours either from laundry being done in other parts of home or a toilet in the upstairs apt running all night.
