This was the most delightful and comfortable cottage - every little detail had been thought of. The furniture was extremely comfortable, good bed linen and towels, and the kitchen very well equipped. Likewise the bathrooms - the whole place was charming and immaculate. It was a pleasure to walk into such a clean and pleasant cottage. We liked the village of Drewsteignton, 2 minutes walk to the square where there was a picturesque pub with a thatched roof.

We had a great stay at Rookwood, house is just beautiful. The location is just stunning. The locals were just wonderful people, extremely friendly and helpful. There was not one thing we did not enjoy at Rookwood, and will defo recommend and hopefully get to visit again in the future.

Beautiful character cottage with wonderfully comfy beds in a stunningly beautiful part of the Devon countryside. The living room has a lovely wood stove but the central heating is really good so it’s more for atmosphere than heat. Kitchen very well equipped. Two nice bathrooms, one en-suite. Very easy key-pick up.

We loved the location, the beautiful furnishings, how clean everything was - it is a beautiful little respite in a wonderful town. Parking was also easy in the lot next to the church.

The shower on the second floor was unusable, as the water did not drain properly. The shower downstairs worked like a charm, but it would have been nice for us to be able to use both.

Great character property, extremely well designed and equipped with high quality things in a beautiful quiet village. Maddy is great and supportive for everything you need.
