Schönes Bad, Küche gut nutzbar und sauber. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht.

Zimmer sehr klein und bei Ankunft kalt, aber gut zu heizen und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Fahrrad stand leider über Nacht im Regen.

My daughter and I stayed in Ferienhaus Cassel for one night. We arrived very late as we had travelled from Bavaria. It was difficult to find the place on arrival to the street. I was shocked to see the unkept look of the exterior of the property. We met a gentleman who came to the house to help me locate it. We climbed to the room which was in the attic. There was a terrible smell of smoke in the room. The gentleman told me the smell was from his clothes! The smell remained in the room for the night.  There was no working fire detector in the bedroom and I was very worried as we were at the top of the house. I was advised when I asked, that no staff member stayed on the property during the night. In an attempt to reassure me, they told me that there was a full house of guests. Imagine a full house with a working fire system and no responsible person on site. The carpet in the bedroom was stained and filthy. There was no heating on in thevroom when we arrived. The gentleman proceeded to turn on the radiator andvthe roo. Heated after 1 hour. The toilet brush was not located in a bowl affixed to the wall but was stored in the cupboard under the sink...how unhygienic! When I went to lock the door of the bedroom, the brass plate on the door lock was not fixed to the door. I also now felt very insecure. The furniture in the room was disgusting. I was very very unhappy and felt very unsafe there. In fact we left really early in the morning, as the room was disgusting. Photos are attached.

Sehr sauber und unkompliziert.

Eine Lampe am Bett wäre schön gewesen und besser erreichbare Steckdosen. Das riesige Bad hätte man in 2 Abteile aufteilen können. Das würde den morgendlichen Stau etwas entzerren. Aber das ist alles Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

The house is very clean and well maintained.The rooms are spacy and kitchen has all facilities and gives home feeling.

Small house converted to rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen. The rooms were comfortable, well cleaned. The bathroom spacious, completely new and well cleaned. While we did not use the kitchen, I had a look and it looked well equipped for occasional cooking. There was parking available directly next to the house away from the street. The area was quiet and we could sleep with open windows without any noise disturbance.

We used it as a stop on a car trip, for which location did not matter. However, had we wished to walk to town center or restaurants, this location is a little far by foot.
