We loved being able to walk into town. The space was great for our extended family. We will be back.

Soon after we arrived we had an issue with a door. They were there in a timely manner and fixed it. Our granddaughter wants us to go back this summer.

The layout was really nice for our large group. 4 bedrooms on a split plan downstairs and 2 upstairs created a nice space for our group of 14. The kitchen, dining and living room were open and created a nice flow for meals and leisure time. Lovely views of the ocean and a short walk to the pier, restaurants, and coffee!! There were a few minor items in disrepair, but nothing that impacted our stay.

The house was so perfect for our needs. Loved the location and close to great restaurants. We had a wonderful time.

Great location! Short walk to downtown. Very comfortable bedding and pillows. Several gathering spaces for meals, games and conversations. The house has a low-key vibe like Folly Beach. Would suggest TVs in the upstairs bedrooms. Definitely plan to return to Folly Beach!

View was nice. Very short distance from house to beach, a minute if you walk slow. House was clean except for rugs. Very spacious and well laid out with plenty of furniture.

We rented this house for extended family for our daughter's wedding locally. The home was spacious for 12 adults. The bedrooms are good size (except for one room with a single) and the bathrooms were large as well. There was plenty of closet space and drawers in the bedrooms and the bathrooms had lots of hooks and drawer space for toiletries. You can't beat the location right on the water and the walk to town took less than 10 minutes. The kitchen was well equipped, but somewhat disorganized as people put things away randomly. Our only issues were minor - the propane tank on gas grill was low and needed to be refilled which was taken care of the same day and we also had the unfortunate luck to have two different smoke alarms start beeping in the middle of the night due to low batteries. Since we didn't have any batteries, we had to take them down. We had a wedding to attend the next day! Also, some of the TV remotes and a ceiling fan remote didn't work due to dead batteries. My suggestion is to either leave a supply of replacement batteries for these type of things or replace them on a consistent basis since you never know when they will stop working. We loved sitting on the deck having early morning coffee or drinks before dinner. There was also plenty of off street parking for the 3 or 4 cars that we had. All in all, it was a great place to stay for a week since everyone was comfortable and we never felt like we were on top of each other.

9 college friends, some of whom hadn't seen each other in 30 years, got together to spend time together. We ate a lot and laughed even more. All in all, we were very pleased with the accommodations. There was plenty of space, the location was perfect, and who could ask for a better view? There were a few logistics that could have been better; some of the expected and advertised amenities were not exactly up to par. Check out instructions were contradictory between what was posted in the house and what was sent via text. I had some early communication issues with the property management but the local managers were communicated timely. The outside garbage cans were fairly full when we arrived. By the time we took garbage out on Sunday night it was nearly overflowing.There were only 2 additional garbage bags in the house. We had to purchase a couple of items for the house that should have been available - namely forks (there were not enough for the number of guests in our group (9) and clearly not the number advertised. Also, we had to purchase propane to use the grill which clearly had not been touched or tested in quite some time. Two of the guys got quite a bit of grease and old propane on their clothes wrestling it out of the grill. A couple of extra dish towels would have been helpful. Other than that, dishware, cups and cookware were plentiful. Lots of books to read. There were a few games. Having access to the third garage bay would have been nice.

This was the perfect house for our work retreat. There was plenty of space to work, and the views were amazing. Love it!

The family enjoyed the beach and Folly Park n general. We had a few issues with the facility. Mainly the washer and dryer wasn’t working properly. The smoke alarm needed new battery. Plus we had to use dirty towels all week because we couldn’t wash them.

We stayed here for our family vacation, the property was perfect for a beach vacation and close enough to walk to all downtown Folly Beach activitites. Could have used a few more towels (no extras) and kitchen dish towels. Highly recommend this house for large gatherings.

It was a great, but quick, week at the beach. Good family house with lots of gathering spaces and spaces to get away. Enjoyed our days on the beach and evenings on the porch watching the moon and stars.

We love Blue Bayou! Great layout for our family. Kitchen and dining area was great for our meals and cooking. The porches and deck was great. Very close to beach and loved the outdoor shower. We will go back!

Certainly a place to gather friends and family and enjoy the beautiful beach right at your fingertips. Super short walk to downtown area with shops and restaurants. I’ll absolutely return.

There were 13 women 60+ and we had a wonderful time! It was a very nice house; clean and spacious with beautiful views, wonderful deck right on the beach and within walking distance to great restaurants and a small grocery store. We Ubered into Charleston for a day for a carriage ride that held all of us! Loved it! We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location on the beach. Plenty of large bedrooms for privacy AND huge living area for family time.

Perfect house for a family gathering.

Family had a great time - and will rent again! Just add directions for dish washer. My nephew build a step to the ocean hope you keep this as it was good for older family members to get to ocean.

Moderate cleanliness and unresponsive management company to sewage smell under side deck made the last 2 nights on the deck less pleasant than desired.

Our family loved staying at this house for the days before and after our son’s weddings. It met all our needs with space, comfort, and the ocean view! The flow of the house made it comfortable for everyone to feel they had space without sacrificing privacy. There were plenty of chairs snd sofas for conversation and TV watching. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, glassware, and pots and pans for such a large group. Although, because Folly Beach has so many wonderful restaurants, we didn’t need to cook many meals. We were provided with lots of towels for the 14 people who stayed at the house, too! The beds were comfortable and the bedding was very new! The deck had plenty of seating and we appreciated the gates on both ends of the deck to keep the grandchildren safe. The location of the beach shower made it easy to rinse off the sand before joining everyone back on deck. It was a great experience.

Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, great for multiple family members staying together for a wedding weekend. Comfy house, loved the porch space, beautiful view right on the beach. Well-stocked kitchen and appreciated the bath toiletries to get us started. Easy walk to Bert's groceries and Center Street restaurants.

The house was great! For a family of our size, it allowed us to be together as well as apart for the much needed alone time. Just a thought for the owner/operator, there’s some cracking in the ceiling in the downstairs bedroom off of the enclosed porch…..maybe upstairs bathroom leak or previous leak? No problems for us, just thought you might like to know. If possible, could you send me a list of the houses you handle on Folly Beach…….approximately same size, 6 to 7 bedrooms, 4 to 5 bathrooms, pet friendly & oceanfront? We would definitely like to use your services again! We’re looking at about the same time next year, when the rates drop. I would greatly appreciate it. Again, Fantastic stay!!

The house was a perfect size with room for our entire 11 person group while giving us all our own space. Any issue was small and dealt with quickly! May need to make this a yearly tradition.
