On the positive side, this is a very nice house w a large pool. It's relatively new and well designed although the lighting in kitchen and baths is weak. 15' walk to town with many restaurant alternatives and local beach is perfect. Then, there are the dogs! The nextdoor neighbor has 4 constantly barking/howling large dogs. You start the day and end it with barking/howling. You can of course learn to ignore it, but it's there. The property manager spoke to the neighbor but that did nothing. The manager contacted the owner who said that the dog situation was 'beyond their control', which is true. However an accurate website description with dog warning is NOT beyond their control. And a quick scan through the guest book shows that the K9 Concert has been an issue for some time. The neighbor with the dogs is rather anti-social and may have psych issues because it has to be incredibly noisy with all that barking in his house- no matter. 'Might be an anti-tourism neurosis... hard to say. On the lesser critical side, the address provided for the house was wrong, so we wasted time exploring Carvoeiro looking for the place. And some kitchen towels and toilet paper upon arrival seems a reasonable expectation. Good house. Great pool. Awful neighbor. Disingenuous VRBO listing.

The villa is finished yona really high standard. It is a great place and the hill to get to it wasn't as bad as it looked. Good restaurants in walking distance Highly recommended

Villa was super Directions for finding Villa were poor -the villa has changed its name and the entry code was incorrect -contacted Melissa who sent us correct details The only other issue was that there were 3/4 dogs in next Villa that were constantly barking and actually disturbing the whole neighbourhood. Would definitly return if the dogs stopped barking!!!!
