The bed was comfortable and there was a sink in the room. The surroundings were quiet and there was a nature trail close by. There were cute cats in the house!

We were on the second floor and the stairs were loud. It was quite far away from stores and restaurants, especially if you prefer not to drive.

The location is amazing. Close to nature and really quiet. The building itself is an architectural marvel and it's gorgeous. Both Amparo and Hans gave tips on where to go around and enjoy the trip, their insider information made the trip a one to remember.

Very modern, well presented and spacious property. Very quiet suburb outside of central Amsterdam. Host was very personable and helpful, and clearly every reasonable effort made for a professional approach. Would recommend the property on this basis. Quite a commute, but Public transport is well organised, runs very late, and card payment based (see other comments).

No breakfast offered so not bed and breakfast - that needs to be changed on site description. Coffee and tea available free, better coffee available for E1. Would have been nice to have milk freely available (there was creamer but not nice in tea). Just one tea bag in room but I didn't draw this to hosts attention, so not really a complaint. Property is a 15m walk to bus, then bus to station, then train to central Amsterdam so around an 75m commute. So own transport desirable for this area if you don't want to stay local. I did email host ahead of booking about travel arrangements but dont think he responded.

Veryclean, hosts very friendly. Quite far from train and bus station, better for those who travel by car.

Great surroundings, quiet, right next to a small nature park where you can watch the birds, or go a few dozen metres further to relax by the sea. The whole house Casa Mirador ist an architectural gem, tastefully furnished. The owners are very friendly, everything is perfectly organised. We had a room downstairs, there was a toilet at our disposal (another one is also on the first floor where there are two other rooms), and a shared shower. The owner also showed us the terrace at the very top from which there is a wonderful view of the sea. In our room there were very comfortable beds, a mirror, a small fridge, a sink, an electric kettle and towels. In the room there were brochures and magazines with attractions in the area. Plenty of free parking next to the house. Highly recommended !

Fantastic location! Very quiet and nature friendly. Easy to access with public transport, when prepared for a little walk. Ideal for bird fans - breakfast in the garden was combined with bird watching, as there were so many flying over. The house is situated right next to a nature reserve. Comfortable room (what a bed!), beautifully furnished house, so we felt like at home, preparing our breakfast and socialising with other guests. The owners are just great - warm, friendly and caring.

Kind and generous hosts, beautiful house.

It is further out of the city than expected, but the transport links were excellent.
