Loved the location-very close to Sintra station. Virtually just around the corner. This was wonderful as Sintra can be quite hilly in places. It was soooo easy to take our suitcases. Once we arrived, we were checked in and shown the apartment and it is lovely. A little challenge to get up the steps to the loft where the bed is. Be careful getting out of bed too-low ceiling. The apartment was very clean, the bathroom had an amazing rain shower and it was very quiet. The kitchen was well serviced but we didn’t cook for ourselves. A quick walk back to the station and the buses could be caught there. Buses 434 and 435 for the Peña palace, the Regaleira and even local buses to Cabo da Roca on the coast. We needed a break from all the walking and a trip to the coast was the answer. I would highly recommend staying here. Just wonderful. Wi fi worked well. Very nice restaurants close by plus a mini preco. We ate at the Taverna next door- very tasty and run by the same family. Communication was excellent.

Absolutely nothing!

We were met by Rui, the owner, and made to feel very welcome right from the start. Rui was easy to reach by WhatsApp throughout our stay and kept in touch regularly. The apartment was extremely tastefully decorated, very comfortable and so handy for the old town (5 minutes walk) yet in an extremely quiet neighbourhood. Wonderful Taverna next door (owned by Rui’s dad) with great food and lovely staff.

We didn’t dislike anything but have one small suggestion: a full length mirror in the bedroom would have been good. There is only one mirror and it’s in the bathroom and it’s not full length so it’s impossible to check how your clothes look when you’re going out. The only other small issue was that the guests in the flat above us were very loud and heavy footed so we could hear them any time we were in the flat. Happy to say they weren’t noisy during the night 😴 We didn’t mention this to Rui as we didn't want to cause bad feeling but maybe he could ask guests to be aware of other guests and keep noise to a minimum.

The apartment was very nice, comfortable and we thought the location was better than expected. It was so easy to walk up to the corner (so close) to catch an uber. It was nice and quiet when we stayed. Owner was friendly and accommodating.

Really nothing I didnt like, I wished that in this one area that offered drying racks and some other amenities would have had a pay wash machine, but, it didnt. (hint hint for the owner...)

Clean, location, host

We were greeted by the apartment's modern charm and tasteful design. The fully-equipped kitchen, complete with an electric stove, dishwasher, and a comprehensive collection of cutlery, crockery, and utensils, made us feel right at home. The attention to detail truly made a difference in our stay. The location was perfect, right in the center but quiet. We were able to easily explore the city's attractions, all while enjoying the comfort of a tranquil abode to return to. It was the best of both worlds! The owner of the apartment is a super host, Rui was waiting to welcome us (with local famous pastry and a bottle of wine), he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. His dedication to making us feel at home truly made a difference. The cozy bedroom provided a comfortable retreat, allowing us to recharge after our adventures. The apartment's amenities, combined with its prime location, created an ambiance that perfectly balanced convenience and relaxation.

Loved everything. Clean, spaceous, and had everything we needed (dishwasher, drying rack, etc). Rui was super helpful.

Outstanding, extraordinary, superb!!! Definitely a place to come back! Located in the heart of beautiful Sintra, allows you to walk everywhere. The apartment is spacious, very clean and very well equipped. Beds (both in the sleeping room and the sofa in living room) are comfortable, kitchen and bathroom very nice and have everything you need, and even more 😉 All decorated with a great taste and attention to details. And that lovely terrace! I loved to sit there with my coffee or wine. But the best of all is the host. Rui really does his best to make his guests feel great and cared for - from giving useful advice to leaving a welcome gift. He's a great example of fantastic Portuguese hospitality!
