Herrlich ruhige Lage und wunderschöner Weitblick auf die Weinberge. Unser Zimmer (Suite mit Bergblick) mit privater Terrasse hat uns sehr gut gefallen, modern und hell mit Aussenjalousien zum Abdunkeln. Nur 6 Zimmer, daher eine ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre.
Sehr nettes Personal, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war hervorragend,
alles frisch zubereitet und sehr
appetitlich, besser geht es nicht.
Schöner Pool, den wir aufgrund des guten Wetters nutzen konnten.

This is an unbelievably beautiful quinta. The views from the hotel (and the excellent pool); the extremely friendly and attentive staff; the breakfast, wines, and charcuterie; complementary coffee/tea, fruit, cookies and port wine at all times of the day; the peace and quiet; the room (ours with a sundeck and very comfortable chairs); an AC that works very well. Everything was essentially perfect. We stayed here for 6 nights and didn't want to leave. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

The rooms were very clean and nice, good size and comfortable. We had a room next to the pool, amazing balcony and view of Douro.
Breakfast was super nice, always warm bread and pastries, staff super friendly. Great wines that you can use at any time.
Definitely recommend for a couple gateway and family as well, since they have a great pool and area around it.

No se trata del hotel, pero en este region, hay algunas líneas de transmisión de alto voltaje. Sería perturbador con algunas personas.

The view and remoteness was just what we wanted. Very peaceful and we enjoy relaxing by the pool in the afternoons.
Lovely evening meal at the local Village of Armamar. Definitely need your own car to get around.
Breakfast was plentiful and varied.
The 2 Mountain View suite rooms separate from the main house were perfect . Private with your own deck and gorgeous views.
A few steps to pool and steep path access to the separate suite rooms, which were only a problem with older guests who are less mobile.

The people running to Quinta are very nice. They do a fantastic job with breakfast, which included breads, croissants, homemade jams, yogurt, fruit plate, eggs and bacon. The bathroom was spacious. The pool and property are beautiful and look just like the photos.
The coffee was not good. The bed was hard. There were only sheer curtains in our room (Touriga Nacional) so the light came in the room brightly and very early, making it difficult to sleep in at all. Our room also required the use of one set of stairs so just be mindful if you have luggage or mobility limitations.

Loved the staff, the location, our private room overlooking vineyards, mountains and valleys. The breakfast is amazing and plentiful; homemade jam , many types of delicious breads, eggs, bacon, cheese, charcuterie, yogurts, desserts, etc.
You're offered port upon arrival.
Staff so helpful for restaurant recommendations and port tastings.
The small negative is the loud bathroom fan.

All staff members were really attentive and accommodating. The included breakfast was freshly prepared and with various choices. We were also given options for dinner in the area. Our room was on the small side, but everything still worked. There are plenty of options to relax around the property as well. - overall a great stay and we would come again!

Good location for visiting the Douro valley. Beautiful view from te hotel. Welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and clean, with a nice little balcony. The room also had a filled mini-bar with very reasonably prized drinks. The bed was very comfortable. An extensive and delicious breakfast buffet was served.

Two year old hotel. Super clean and comfortable. Great staff and location. Standard rooms are small so take a bigger one. Excellent breakfast. 10 minutes from Fonte Nova the best restaurant on Duoro. Highly recommend.

the room was very small for two persons, but you can sit in the lovely livingroom or terrace or in the garden, so you only need to sleep in it.

This hotel was one of the best we had during our roadtrip in Portugal, the people who worked there are very nice and friendly! The breakfast each morning was amazing, we had everything we could have wished for. We had the room with the small balcony which was great, the view is stunning. The pool was nice during the hot days in summer.

nice and cozy hotel with attention to detail, small hotel with just a few rooms which makes it comfortable for a relaxing holiday. the location and the view is simply amazing, the room was clean and spacious, the staff kind and helpful. the pool area is great, facing a beautiful landscape. breakfast was also great, with lot of variety and good products. there are a few local restaurants nearby and the distance to the bigger villages with more options for dinner is of 15-20 mins by car.
