I loved everything about this place's tropical, colourful aesthetic. We had a wonderful stay, and even curtailed some of our days just to come back and decompress on the fabu, 70s-chic lounger. The only downside there was was we had difficulty communicating - our fault - as our phones would not work in the USA. Would book it again in a heartbeat.

This house had that cozy, antique, nostalgic feel that's so characteristic of upstate NY. It was beautifully decorated and clean, and the owners were friendly, accommodating, and answered my questions over text very promptly. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever visiting the area! I'm also amazed that 9 of us 30/40-something-year-olds in our mixed-gender group managed to share 1 bathroom w/no difficulty!

The host was nice and reached out before we were to arrive. Unfortunately the apartment needs a really deep clean. There was a dirty sock in the kitchen, mouse poop all over, under the beds were dirty, and there was dry blood on a comforter. The worst part was the hair that was on the wall and soap in the shower. The neighborhood was rough, but that’s no fault of the owners.

We had an amazing stay at thia location. We were a family of 10 but we were comfortably. The hoat was amazing. She replied quickly with any questions or concerns. Kitchen was stocked with different kinds of utensils, pots, plates, and cups. There were plenty of clean fresh towels and sheets. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the early mornings and late evenings. There is a playground down the street and toys are provided on the inside. The host was great at informing us about any issues in the surrounding areas. Parking was great. We had a lovely time and looking forward to ataying again when we are in Rochester.

The apartment was clean and spacious. Our host was very nice and made sure our stay was comfortable! The neighborhood was quiet. Definitely rebooking when we come back in town to visit!

It was convenient to oak hill country club, it was clean, no cat smell when got upstairs , beds were a little too firm and pillows not good, definitely bring own pillows, overall it was very good for the amount of time spent there basically just to sleep. Host was easy to reach and helpful .

Was here 10 minutes before leaving. Listed as a 3br, is a 1br. Their attempt of calling a closet a br by tossing a mattress on the floor does not fly. We understood there would be an air mattress, but not all multiple. No privacy for more than one couple. Dirty sheets on beds, hair in the bathtub, and no communication from the property manager on how to get in prior the getting there and having to call them. Was told by homeowner to call husband upon arrival if any issues since she would be at work, no answer and no return call from him. Attempted to get a refund from Evolve, the property manager, and they never once contacted me before deciding to keep my money anyway. After having great experiences the rest of my trip using only VRBO properties, I’d stay elsewhere if I were you.

It was a nice and clean place. The pictures looked the same as you walked in. Plenty of necessities provided as well.

We didn't know where the entrance was when we arrived at the house. After we got in there was a smell of cat urine and cat poop found in closet. Son-in-law who works in pest control found Roach bait in kitchen cabinets. They left immediately but I thought things were okay until my son saw 2 roaches on the ceiling. I was able to catch one of the roaches for the owners to see. We then immediately after that staying in a Hotel 35 minutes away. We were only refunded 1 night instead of for both nights. Will not use VRBO in the future.

Fine but could be cleaner
It was a place to sleep, and it functioned just fine for that. We wished the carpets had been vacuumed, bathroom mats cleaned, etc. The beds and towels were clean. It would’ve been nice to have the fridge and freezer running in advance and to have better stocked kitchen drawers—there was no spatula to be found so we had to flip our eggs with a plastic knife. Otherwise, it was just fine. The kids enjoyed the toys in the entryway.

Great stay
The host was kind enough to let our family of 11 stay here for three nights. It was a little cozy for our larger group, but that's to be expected with as many as we had! The host was communicative, helpful, and positively delightful. The house is in a great location for access to anything in Rochester. Would stay again if we're back in this area.
My younger children absolutely loved the pinball game - probably more than the things we came to Rochester to see.

Graduation Stay Family of 4
Originally we planned to bring a big family as the place said it fit 11. Upon some family incidents occurring, only 4 of us made it. We were so grateful that was the case as the listing is very inaccurate and does not at all comfortably fit 11 people. The listing was very falsely advertised.

This house was well represented. We had no real issues. They provided everything we needed. It was a fmaily trip to go see the Children's museum. There was tons of room, and everything was so nicely decorated. No issues!

Beautiful decor and a relaxing environment!
We all really loved the feel of this place! The decor was beautiful, and the hosts were very kind and helpful. We really appreciated the little informational notes that explained how to use appliances and so on. There was a nice informational booklet listing sights and food spots to check out in the area as well as the distances for these spots. They also had a supply of games on a shelf under the TV which we enjoyed playing.
The only issue we had was a little confusion with checking in and the front door getting stuck, but there was an alternate entrance we used and the issue with check in was cleared up quickly with the hosts. Other than that it was a wonderful stay! :)

Charming apartment.
Had a great stay in this warm, well equipped house. The kitchen amenities are well thought out, which is where we spent most of our time. Nice quiet neighborhood and close to everything downtown has to offer.

Great family-friendly stay in Rochester
We had a wonderful visit in Rochester, and loved this apartment. It was clean, family friendly, and a comfortable home base for our stay. The host is very knowledgeable about the city, responsive, and kind. There is off street parking, and it's in a neighborhood so things were quiet at night. They had chargers already set up in the apartment, which I found to be helpful, and the shower has great water pressure. It was a great location for our adventures, too. There is a playground 2 blocks away, and it's close to lots of great stuff in the city. That was especially helpful when we had one cold, rainy day. Because we were close to everything, we could venture out, come back to warm up, and then head back out without being in the car too long. Hope to visit Rochester again soon and hope this apartment is available when we do!

I felt safe driving into the neighborhood, getting out of my car and walking into the house. The inside is cozy, clean and comfortable! I felt a sense of instant relaxation while inside. Additional touches like the murals and decorations were wonderful! Excellent host very responsive with questions.

Wonderful Place
Very clean and neat place. Cozy, comfortable and quaint. Had good sleep. Wonderful decorations and color schemes. Host extremely cooperative. It has a nice second floor living room and kitchen. Plants growing in walled in back yard. An older, pleasant neighborhood. Very secure. A good central location for anything in Rochester.

Great host home away from home
Nice stay and every accommodation was made by the host to have our family of five feel welcome. Definitely an oasis away from the busy cityscape. The kitchen and bathroom was fully stocked and plenty of amenities for the baby too. Welcoming host and made sure we were taken care of! When you step into the doors of the upstairs apartment you feel calm with water feature and plenty of natural light. Cute baby room and wonderful decor and bedding available for the kids. I have rented from many sites (first VRBO) often you feel like you do not have enough sheets, towels, silverware, etc for our busy messy family. We did not go without in this rental. Even provided chargers in every room.
