Spent a week at this lovely townhouse! Location was great for easy access to many of the Sanibel sites. Great access to beach and well maintained pool. Will definitely return!

I'll start with the good stuff, because it is almost all good! We loved the location. The beach was even closer than we expected from the pictures. 2 outdoor showers were nice for rinsing off before jumping in the pool. The condo being unattached was so nice and private! Only about half the units were in use while we stayed, so it was completely quiet and peaceful. At the same time, it felt like a little community. We chatted with our fellow vacationers about good dinner locations, fishing, and more. The beds were comfy, and the whole unit felt fresh and modern. Lots of floats/boogie boards/ beach chairs, etc. were available. Now, on to the issues. When we arrived, we found that the refrigerator was not cooling. We had just picked up a week's worth of groceries, and had to spend the whole first evening acquiring ice and loading what we could fit into our cooler - I had been told in a message that a cooler was provided, but it was locked away in the garage with the owner's things, so we are lucky we brought a cooler at all. We had to throw out so much food. We contacted the emergency line, but got no response. I emailed Breakaway properties and was told that a mini fridge would be sent over Sunday afternoon, and that a new fridge would be delivered on Tuesday. Tuesday morning, we were woken by a call telling us that the fridge was there, and ready to be installed. But it wasn't. We didn't get one until Thursday. I greatly appreciate the effort made to get us at least a small fridge, but we ended up spending a lot more money on food than we would have if the fridge had been working. We truly loved so much about the unit, and would like to return. If we hadn't had that one issue, I would rate it 5 stars!

This is a nice facility in a very good location but you might get the impression from the listing that you get 3 full size bedrooms. You don't! One of the bedrooms is a covey off the living room that has a couch that is a fold out bed, questionable that this could be called a bedroom. Downstairs bathroom sink did not have hot water, never tried the shower. Master bedroom ceiling fan did not work. Called the property manager about a minor item, it was taken care of immediately. As to the fan and hot water we were too busy enjoying the beech to call about them, besides, they should of been fixed when we got there. Bikes weren't greatest and had flat tires but we were able to use one to get around a little.

Great location and townhome for me and my family. Townhome is well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy the beach and play in the ocean. Community pool but felt private. Situated close to great restaurants and shops, as well as main access to mainland. Looking forward to our next trip to Sanibel and will look for availability at same townhome.

My husband and I rented this wonderful unattached condo (like staying in a house) with our daughter and son-in-law and it was perfect for our vacation. The place is open, had 3 bathrooms, (having one downstairs was ideal when popping back to the condo from the beach), and more than enough room to be together and to separate. The best feature is the lanai, large, breezy and the best spot to start and finish the day. The view couldn’t have been better. We all loved the swinging chair and enjoyed the space below the lanai for dropping our water toys and cooler when returning from the beach. We love Sanibel, it’s our third visit and this is our favorite place to stay to date. Any questions or concerns were quickly addressed by the office. Thanks for allowing our family to enjoy your family’s home!

Beautiful home and well appointed. Great location, lovely pool and just steps to the beach.

Spent a week with wife and our two young children. The location is terrific and views of the gulf are better than advertised. Would definitely come back.

Great property and access to Sanibel beach. Stand alone building right next to the pool and boardwalk to access the beach.

The condo was everything you could ask for, tons of kids sand toys and pool floaties. My one issue was working with the property management. There was an issue with the pool which made it unusable for a few days. The management team does not have a pool company on call for a weekend which left us with no pool for a few days. Other than this one issue the property was located in a great location for the beach. It was a greta spot for us to take our family with small children.

We absolutely loved this property and it was perfect for our family (4 adults, 2 kids). There was plenty of space, lots of amenities (bikes, buckets, pool floats, etc.) for enjoying the island and beach, and easy access to the pool and beach. We read all the previous reviews and came prepared with extra toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, etc. However, we found that 2 packets of laundry detergent, 2 packets of dishwasher detergent, coffee filters, plenty of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels were included by the property management company. Be aware that the washing machine includes a note that you can only use powder detergent, which would have been helpful to know in advance. We visited the Sanibel lighthouse, took a boat tour to see the dolphins, went shell collecting and enjoyed the great weather. If you plan to go to the Mucky Duck, make sure you arrive early (4ish) to get your name on their reservation list. Check out the Island Cow for a meal, you don’t be disappointed. Our stay was excellent and we hope to be able to come back in the future!

We loved our stay at Cyprina No1! We were looking for an ocean view, updated condo for Thanksgiving that would give our teens the ability to navigate the area on their own. We were a quick walk or bike ride to the Lighthouse, Pinocchio's, Gerry's and of course the beach and pool! The kids also walked to Sundial for volleyball and smoothies. We stopped at the Super Target near RSW on our way to Sanibel and stocked up on dish soap, dishwaher detergent; laundry soap, shampoo, TP and papertowels, trash bags etc.- and if you plan to cook, don't forget the salt, pepper, oil etc. We cooked several meals at the condo and enjoyed eating at Dante's, Lazy Flamingo, Lighthouse Cafe etc...We ordered the Thanksgiving Feast from Bailey's and everyone was happy! We spent our days sitting on the gorgeous beach and walking for miles in each direction. Beth is easy to work with and very quick to respond!

My family recently stayed at this single unit condo and were very, very satisfied with our stay. Everything turned out as represented and the unit was large enough for my wife, myself and our four children. The owners were very accommodating and communicated very quickly whenever we had a question (although, we have very few). Being a single-unit and beach front condominium, the privacy was very welcome and the views tremendous. In addition, they had beach gear and bikes available in the garage for our usage which was of great benefit. We would highly recommend this condominium to anyone! Thank you for making our stay in Sanibel very welcome and enjoyable!!

Absolutely beautiful property which looks just like the photos. We loved that this unit is free standing (only one in the development) so no shared walls and very private. The views from the house were spectacular and we spent most of the time when we were at the house sitting out on the screened-in porch listening to the ocean, watching the birds and the little rabbits that live in the mangroves surrounding the property. The location of this property is also perfect! Very close to everything (shops, restaurants, etc.) - close enough that we even rode the beach cruiser bikes there and back throughout the week. The beach directly in front of the unit is probably one of the best spots on the island and was never crowded. The owner - Beth - was wonderful and provided us with a ton of recommendations - her favorites for shopping and dining out. Just because I am an OCD planner and always read every word of these reviews so I know what to expect, I will note that the unit does not really have any provisions to start your stay (it does have a few soap bars in the bathrooms, a roll of paper towels, and a few packets of dish detergent and one packet of laundry detergent). So I highly recommend stopping at the market on the way to the unit (or at least early the first day) for basics like coffee and filters (the reusable one wasn't working for us - oh, and the unit has a drip-style not a Keurig), creamer, salt and pepper, water, paper towels, dish soap, shampoo & conditioner (if you didn't pack it), etc. Per Beth's recommendation, we shopped at Jerry's - which is a fabulous market complex on Periwinkle that has everything that you'll need for your stay and MORE (make sure you check out the amazing birds)! Another note (so you don't waste time unnecessarily worrying about it): the ceiling fan in the great room never worked the entire time we were there but it wasn't really an issue as the A/C was more than plenty to keep us cool and comfortable. When we mentioned it to the management company, they indicated that they were aware but that they couldn't find anyone to fix it because of the tall ceiling height. We truly loved this place and were sad when our week ended. But we were already talking about returning to Beth's place again next year before we even stepped foot on the plane home. Had a great time at the beach, but apparently there was mold in the house. It rained and water came pouring through the kitchen/living room vent all over the floor. Carpet needs to be replaced and we’re not able to lower the temperature, so we were sweating during the night. We would not return.

Perfect location, great accommodations! The heated pool was a hit with great beach access! There was no communication ahead of time from VIP rentals regarding check in procedure. This is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Perfect location on the east side of island. Renovated kitchen and bathrooms, easy access to beach, truly just steps away, very private since small complex. Private heated pool. Stocked kitchen with full set of pots and pans and plenty of dishes. Condo comes with two bikes and lots of beach chairs. Owners are very kind and quick to respond to questions or concerns. Would caution that unit does not have elevator, and stairs are steep. Best for family of 4-5 since 3rd bedroom just twin with trundle.

This house was an absolute dream. The views from the floor to ceiling windows are breathtaking. The location could not be better. We felt like we were on our own private island, it was so peaceful. We are a family of four and were absolutely thrilled with our choice of this house. Our daughters, 4 and 1, had everything they needed to feel at home. The beds were actually comfortable which was such a welcome change from all the other vrbo's we've stayed in. One thing to note if you have small children -- the second level of the house has 2 openings with railing that is definitely wide enough for small children to fit through. This was a significant worry for us. I would really like to see the bars on the railing closer together. The third bedroom is also on the main level, away from the other bedrooms just to note. And my goodness was the sliding door to that room squeaky... Which my one year old did not care for when putting her down to bed. Other than that, this place was perfection. We cannot wait for our next visit!

Beautiful house. Great location. Very quiet, with a great view. Nothing bad to say.

Our trip to Sanibel was absolutely perfect thanks to Cyprina Beach #1. The townhouse was the perfect fit for my husband, parents and young son. We were greeted each morning by the stunning Gulf views, spent days lounging on the beach, which we pretty much had to ourselves, and relaxed on the lanai each night. The location of the townhouse was an absolute dream! The beach was just a few steps from the front door, and everything we needed (games, floats, beach chairs, toys) for a perfect beach day was provided. The townhouse was spacious and comfortable, and with a pool a stones throw away you really couldn’t ask for more!

Just returned from an amazing stay at this townhouse. Everything was as promised, and more! The townhouse has beautiful ocean views and the interior decor is very upscale. The unit was spotless upon arrival. Beach towels, toys, chairs, umbrellas were provided. We made daily use of the 2 adult bikes that were in the garage. The screened porch is huge and there are 2 lounge chairs for relaxing, as well as a table and chairs for dining outside. We did most of our own cooking and the kitchen was stocked with all the cookware that we needed. The bathrooms are beautiful. Wait until you see the master bath shower! The view of the moonlit ocean from the master bedroom was unreal. The pool was nicely heated (i'm picky about that) and the tropical landscaping around the pool was gorgeous. There was an outdoor shower for use if returning from the beach. Speaking of the beach, we found it to be the best shelling on the island. We were so happy we chose the East end of the island. It was quieter and we loved being near the lighthouse. The owners were a pleasure to work with and answered all questions promptly and courteously. Do not hesitate to book this rental. It was a dream vacation!

Recently stayed here with our 2 kids ages 18 months and 3.5 years and nanny. We had a wonderful vacation. The property is just gorgeous. The newly renovated kitchen is beautiful, and the new tile in the family space is practical and looks great. The house was very comfortable for us. Beds were comfortable and all the seating in the living room was terrific. Bathrooms were beautiful. We loved seeing the sunrise every morning from the living and dining rooms. There were tons of beach toys, buckets, beach chairs, and umbrellas for us to use. A kayak and bikes were also provided. We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone considering it. My 3 year old son asked if we could "keep this house."

We have been vacationing on Sanibel for many years. This has been one of best weeks ever. The condo is is beautifully decorated, spacious, and very private. The views are terrific. A special place.

THIS PLACE IS GREAT! This was our second time staying in Cyprina Beach 1 and we were still wowed the moment we walked through the door. The view of the Gulf from the inside is just amazing and the townhouse itself is heads and tails above the usual vacation rental. This particular unit occupies the entire building so it feels more like a house than a condo. The complex it's in is small and private and once again we had the pool and beach practically to ourselves. We are already looking froward to returning next year!
