On the plus side the location is great. We love the Lantern District, good restaurants, beautiful view. Once on the property... The exterior stairway to the apt. was very dirty. The front door and screen were filthy. The living room blinds are shot, can hardly open or close and have broken slats making the place look shabby. The windows barely open. The DIY bathtub paint looks horrible. The garage door opener wouldn't work so we couldn't use the garage. I bought a new battery, didn't help. There is no instruction booklet on how to use switches and exterior lights. We resented having to take out the trash bins to the curb since our bins and those for the downstairs unit were overflowing. One of the beds was full of rice, so it made us concerned for the hygiene of the unit. Parking was difficult and made us resent the inability to get into the garage. The kitchen was well equipped and that was a major plus. Lots of showers were taken and had plenty of hot water. We have rented before and other owners seem to give more attention to detail.

This property is a true gem. We loved our stay in Dana Point!! Jason is so kind and easy to get in contact with. Our room looked just like the pictures. We got home today and are already missing it! Can’t recommend enough. We will definitely be back!!

Couldn't use the bathtub because it was peeling and not inviting at all, it looked disgusting. The living room furniture was ripped/torn in a bunch of spots with stains all over it. The outdoor furniture was also bad with a huge rip on it. Huge hole in the wall in the primary bedroom. I would not consider this place "luxury". We were very disappointed.

This is a perfect location in relation to salt Creek & Strandz Beach which are our two favorite beaches in the world! From the house you can walk along local roads (which is really fun) to Ralph’s grocery store and an amazing organic restaurant

Location was great for us-- lovely neighborhood and how close it was to the beach, stores, etc. Loved the outdoor patio and that there was plenty of bedding and space for everyone. Beds are comfortable and the home is great for a bigger group. Be sure to bring your own shampoo/soap. Kitchen ware for the oven is limited, but we were able to make due and appreciated everything else about this lovely home!

We had a great time. The location was super convenient to lots of beaches. The view was great and the house had everything you would need. Would definitely come back.
