Great place close to beach

Loved the look of the cottage . Really like the repurposed wood throughout the place . Very convent to everything and porch swing was a place. Would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Perfect for our 2 dogs to play in the fenced in yard. Loved the antiques in the cottage. We will be back

I travel alone with my dog, and I couldn’t have found a better place on the beach to stay! The condo was very nicely decorated and updated; clean; bright and airy; and had everything that I needed for my 2 week stay. Not to mention that my dog was welcome! The owner was attentive and truly seemed to care that I was comfortable. Along with being a great place to call home for my time away, the location was ideal. I could sit on the deck and watch the ocean - both sunrise and night moon were spectacular (when the fog let us). There were enough restaurants, bars, patios and plenty of beach walking all right there. I never had to get in my car unless I wanted to! I also enjoyed the music right next door off the patio. It was never too loud or too late. (And if it would have been, all you had to do was go in and shut the deck doors and it was plenty quiet!) I highly recommend this Tiki Condo…and definitely will go back if I return to SPI!!! ❤️

Stayed for a week and had an awesome time. Place was clean and well supplied with all the extras you need. Train takes a minute to get used to, but it's not a big deal. Short walk or drive to the beach and lots of good eats around. Deb was awesome and very hospitable. Would go back anytime.

We’ve stayed in the Cottage three times in the last two years and love it every time. So close to the beach and shopping it’s perfect for us. Debra is a first class host!

This cottage is the perfect getaway. Everything from where it is located to checking in and departing. Neighbor hood is also a great place. Location for going places was great also. We enjoyed it and will be back.

Debra is wonderful!! The cottage was so cute, comfortable and just a short walk from the beach. Debra has everything thought out and available such as beach towels, chairs, ice chest, etc. I was a bit concerned about the railroad tracks, it did not bother me at all but a couple of the others in my party did mention it a few times. I would stay at the cottage again!!

Couldn’t ask for a better experience than this! Our first time VRBOing and it was beyond our expectations! Close to the beach, extremely clean and had everything you could ever need! Just wish we could have stayed longer! Deb is the perfect host!

I was in town with my adult daughter to visit family. This house was perfect for us. Parking was easy on the side of the house. We both enjoyed that the house had many original features and was decorated to accent it's age, though it also had all the modern amenities. Just a short walk to the beach. Many restaurants and attractions are close by. The train sounds didn't bother us too much. Being from the area, I knew what to expect. The beds were comfortable which made up for the train noise!

We had a good, restful stay. The owner was very nice and even brought over donuts one morning.

We will be back!

The owner, Debra was very responsive, helpful, and easy to connect with. She has rescued and remodeled this cottage with an eye for convenience and comfort with excellent working electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and updated appliances. Electrical outlets at every logical place and garden hoses at front and back yards were such a welcome site. The neighborhood was all side walked and felt safe to walk around in, even at night. Debra has many friends and neighbors in the area and helpers nearby which we all found reassuring yet unobtrusive. We loved the proximity to the beach, ample parking, fenced back and front yards, trains and, mosquito-free outdoor areas.

We enjoyed our stay. House was just a few blocks away from beach, which was a plus. The house was clean and felt very cozy. Fenced in yard was great for our 11yr old Mini Schnauzer, she loved ppl watching in the front. All around had a great experience in Gulfport and Debra was awesome! Will def be back!

We stayed here on our return from a Florida vacation. The location is perfect for restaurants & Beach View Casino (no smoking & windows on the gulf). The cottage was perfect for us: very clean, comfortable beds, and so cute!). The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. The porch swing was just the ticket for a relaxing afternoon.

easy to rent . Debra came buy with donuts.

Comfortable, with all the amenities. Winter temperature control was difficult. RR tracks very close! Access to all kinds of shopping was good. Casino and the shore within walking distance.

The property was clean and accessible. The fenced in yard was nice for our small puppy to play in. Overall nice experience.

The 2nd bedroom needs a sturdy bed this one made noise every time you moved very loudly

The location was perfect for me for this trip because my son was staying on base. Also centrally located to get to Biloxi and Bay St. Louis. Would definitely stay again!

The Flamingo Cottage is just as advertised. Cute, clean and comfortable. This was our second stay this year, once in the spring and also in September. Debra is so kind and helpful. I do appreciate the fenced front and back yards for our two dogs. I sit in the porch swing and the dogs enjoy watching cars and people go by. It’s just a few short blocks to the sand so what ever your cup of tea, Flamingo Cottage provides. I give it a five star rating on all points.
