The views from the covered front deck are spectacular. This is our second year at this fully equipped two bedroom cabin. It’s cozy warm and charming and suits our personality to a T. Beautiful grounds with a gated entrance snuggled amongst mature pines. If your looking for peace and serenity, this is the place for you.

We had a great time staying at JoAnn and Gordon's place. The cabin sits across the yard from their home so they were nearby for much of the weekend and made themselves available for anything we needed, while giving us plenty of space and privacy. The cabin is very comfortable and the kitchen is unusually well-stocked, including a supply of some basics like cooking oil, butter, and condiments. The road to get to the cabin is long and curvy so we were glad we had done our grocery shopping prior to arrival. Once there, we never left - and never wanted to! We spent our days relaxing on the breezy and shady deck - comfortably cool even when the sun was very hot - and down on the water, swimming, floating, paddleboarding, and sunbathing. That was enough to keep our group (5yo kiddo, two parents, and grandma) happy for our 3-night stay! Had we gotten bored, there was also Horseshoes and Corn Hole to play in the yard, but we never got around to that. Overall a wonderful property. We would happily return.

This little cabin was perfect for our family of 4, our son (17) loved the hideaway space upstairs. we came here to relax by a lake we got to do just that, it had everything you need in daily life, the washer and dryer was a great perk. Just bring your clothes and groceries and you are pretty set. The property is gorgeous well kept and the views are amazing, our family played cards out on the patio for hours. Very peaceful and relaxing.

We had the most wonderful week at this property. The owners are so kind, personable, and helpful. Our family of 6 was extremely comfortably in the cabin. We had absolutely everything we needed in the cabin and more! I can’t think of anything you’d need that wasn’t already there. Our kids had the best time playing with the wide variety of beach toys and floaties. The beach was lovely and we spent most of our time there! We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for such a great week!

My favorite by far location we have stayed on hayden. Gorgeous house and ample parking. House was immaculate and clean with every single item we needed to cook and enjoy the beach. All items were high quality cooking and lots of beach toys for kiddos. Beach was amazing to have as so many do not have a place to play in the sand. Alot of rentals are cliff side. Beautiful nights on the porch made evenings wonderful. Hosts answer and help quickly and friendly. Can't wait to return.

We are a small family wanting to escape some summer work and this was absolutely PERFECT. Gordon and JoAnn are the nicest people in the world...the house was absolutely perfect for our needs, the location on the lake was EPIC..We will be back as long as they will have us!

Great vacation with our small children to check out Hayden Lake. Beach was wonderful and kids had a blast playing in the sand! So wonderful, owners had outfitted the beach with floats and toys for the kids. Wonderful trip!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Gordon and JoAnn’s lake cabin. It was perfect for our family (we have a 5 and 6 year old, too)—the cabin is perfectly stocked with so many extra amenities (hair dryer, towels, beach towels, a kitchen with EVERYTHING you could possibly need to prepare dinners and floats/beach toys for kids and so much more)…plus the nicest hosts you could ask for at a VRBO. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

This first house was in pristine condition and very cozy. Fully stocked with everything you’d need for a fantastic stay. The view is amazing and we had a great time!

Wow! We had a great time in this beautiful setting. The property owners were very nice and accommodating, even when we had an issue at the cabin. They went above and beyond for us. We are looking forward to returning next summer.

This property was very well appointed with beautiful granite counters. The air conditioning worked well as it was in the upper 90s. There are stairs down to a cute little beach with several toys and floats there. There was also a fire ring and wood so we had a weeny roast. In the area, we did zip lining and dug for Star Garnets (research a head of time). The owners were very friendly when we chanced upon them since they are next door. Both Hayden and Coeur d’Alene are near enough to visit daily, but the road takes consentration.

We truly enjoyed our extended weekend here. Gordon was an excellent host. The view is incredible and we took advantage of a wonderful fire pit. If anything the pictures do not do it justice As the home is even lovelier person and feels brand new.

The house, the location and everything else about this trip was perfect.

Our stay there was wonderful! It was peaceful and beautiful. The place is set up perfectly for a small family that wants peacefulness and relaxation. Beautiful views and a great beach to hang out by the water. Our power went out our last night there due to a a storm. The owners offered to let us use there stove to cook dinner. They have a generator for there house. We choosed to go into town for dinner instead. Our power was out for about 4 1/2 hours.the power outage sucked because we couldn’t have my wife’s birthday dinner as planned. But you can’t count on a power outage. But other then that it was a wonderful weekend.

The home is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. The view of the lake is breathtaking from the deck, as well as the kitchen and family room! Gordon and JoAnn were wonderful, gracious hosts. My wife and I, and another couple came to Hayden for a memorial service for a friend who's wife had passed away. Because his home is very small, we asked JoAnne if we could host a dinner for the family and a few friends following the memorial service at their home. They graciously made a very kind decision and said "Yes"! Their kindness was a blessing to everyone. We definitely recommend their VRBO and welcome to opportunity to return.

We were able to dial back the stress of city life and focus on the basics in this beautiful cabin on an amazing scenic spot on the lake. It had every luxury with feel of “the simply life”. Our hosts were available to assist us with anything we needed and provided lots of TLC. What a lovely experience — hope to return soon!

This newly renovated cabin sits on a beautiful part of the lake and the private beach is perfect for the young ones. The crystal clear calm waters made this place my son's favorite swim spot. Gordon and Joann did a fantastic job in the renovation and thought of everything. I must warn you though, you might find yourself in a state of depression when you realize that it is your last day at this little piece of heaven. No worries, you can always book for next summer as we plan to do.

We were thrilled with this beautiful and newly remodeled cabin on Hayden Lake! The cabin is very thoughtfully designed and stocked with everything you'll need. The layout was perfect with two queen bedrooms in the back and two twins in the loft. We loved eating out on the deck with the lake view, and the large counter space with seating in the kitchen was also super convenient. The beach has floaties and toys - perfect for kids! We loved swimming in the protected swimming area and venturing out on the SUP we brought in order to see a bit more of the lake. This cabin is truly delightful and a wonderful and relaxing treat on private and quiet Hayden Lake. I highly recommend!
