This was the perfect house for our ladies weekend! We had plenty of space, spent the day down at the dock and used the kayaks. The kitchen had all we needed and we loved the fire pit! Everyone hopes we will go back!

The house is in a great location and the dock has everything. Boat lift, top deck with opening gate to jump into water. Also a propane fire pit on top deck. Spent most of are time on deck.

Great place to stay. Off the main lake where it is safe for the kids yet a couple hundred yards to the main lake. Kids love jumping off the upper deck. This was our 2nd time staying here and we will definitely be back.

Superb place, immaculately clean as always. 6th year back for our group of 8 fishing trip. Joe is super responsive and accommodating. This place has everything you need for a stay on the lake. Looking forward to year 7 already!

Spring break 2024. Took my kids and grandkids, and friends to this lovely home and had a blast. The lake activities were fabulous. The owner of property, Joe, was very easy going, understanding and just a text away. Will be back!

We had a fabulous week at this property. What a great location on the lake. We spent almost every day on the dock fishing or playing games and relaxing. This location was a wonderful halfway point for family in Florida and New Hampshire. Lots of space to be together and space to go off and read or watch your favorite show.

I spent time with friends and family for a summer vacation over the July 4th holiday. The house was perfect and had all the needed amenities and more! The property manager was very informative and responsive before and during our stay.

This place was fabulous! We enjoyed the beautiful house and the lake view was so great from the two story deck. We had many happy hours lakeside!
Kristin was helpful with the reservation and Joe was just a phone call away the five days we were there! He was so humorous and helpful my friends (all in our 60’s) were calling him my BFF.
Young and old would absolutely enjoy this beautiful lake property! I’d love to have my family gather there.

We stayed at this gorgeous lakehouse for my mother-in-law's 75th birthday, along with my wife, our two small children, and my sister-in-law and her two kids. It was perfect for us, and met the needs of my wife's mother who has mobility challenges, by having a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor.
The house was clean, well furnished, and the lake views were incredible. We made use of the kayaks available, and they really made for a great weekend out on the water! Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Quail Ridge. The house was completely stocked with everything needed to prepare all of our meals. The beds were very comfortable. We really loved sitting on the porch and enjoying our morning coffee with the beautiful lake scenery. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.
We had so much fun swimming off the dock. They had plenty of life jackets as well. It was a great family trip and we would love to return.

Our goal was a relaxing and fun week of watersports, chilling, and grilling! Carolina Haven provided us with the opportunity to satisfy all of our goals and more! The house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully situated on a quiet cove just minutes from the main lake, and we loved jumping from the deep water dock! Perfect for our Family!
We love our stay over Spring Break, it was perfect for our family of 7! We had plenty of room, activities to keep us busy (or not). The kids loved the game room! My favorite was the quiet spot on the lake with that amazing view. The location could not be more perfect. The rental was kept very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Thank you so much!

Fishing friends getaway
This place is great! A group of us have been doing fishing trips to various places for the last 13 years and this house was definitely one of the best ones. The people who own it are very helpful with any questions you may have. The house was very clean and very well set up. There was plenty of parking for both boats and trucks with trailers. The location put us right in the prime fishing spots without having to run to far. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice relaxing fishing vacation.

Perfect Lake getaway home!
This house has beautiful views from inside and outside! Kristin is extremely nice and very quick to respond and communicate. We had a bachelorette party for the weekend, there was plenty of beds and space for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed, we cooked all our meals there. The grocery/ABC store were about 5min away. The fire pit was great (but you do need to bring/order your own wood). The only issue was the showers, water goes ice cold quickly, (we even tried to make sure no one used any other water at the same time but still went cold). This house offers a lot of lake activities and bikes, and the top deck on the dock is great for watching the sunset! Hope to be back in a warmer time of year! Thanks for the memorable stay! :)

Weekend at the lake house
This spacious home provided a perfect getaway for our two families. The living space had several areas to interact, either all together or separate if desired. Bedrooms were well appointed with kids in the bunk room and parents with their own room. Bathrooms were large and had plenty of hooks and space for your stuff. The kitchen had everything we needed plus a separate beverage cooler! We enjoyed lunch on the back deck, we sipped coffee on the rooftop boat house by the propane fire table, we made a fire in the firepit at night, the kids rode their scooters in the cul de sac. I could go on and on with the positive aspects of this home. I would highly recommend and would rent again in a heartbeat.

Lovely get-away for the whole family
My family and I had a wonderful time at Kristin's. It was clean, quiet, spacious, and had everything we needed for a 3 day get-away. The game room, bikes and boats kept all the kids busy and active. The view was beautiful and I wish we could have spent another week at this peaceful oasis.

Absolutely amazing!! From booking to checking in was a great process. The pictures don't even capture the beauty of this place. House was super clean and very roomy. We enjoyed our Christmas here and the weather made it even better. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Thank you again

Best location, host and amenities!
Our family had an amazing time here for Thanksgiving! There was so much for all of us (ages 9 to 72) to do even though we didn't go in the lake. Our first impression was, "Wow, look at that view, right on the water!"
My daughter and I went out on the paddleboard a couple of times, my husband and I took the bikes for a ride around the quiet neighborhood, everyone took the pedal/paddle boats out for a spin (so don't let age or limited physical ability hold you back!), we roasted s'mores at the fireplace, hung out on the dock, and my kids and husband had a blast in the downstairs gameroom. The kitchen is the most well-equipped I have seen in my vacation rental stays. The hosts were very helpful, generous and easy to get in contact if needed. Definitely recommend!

Beatiful location and home.
Great, prompt communications with the owners. Wonderful views. Home had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed sitting on the boat house deck in the evening. We were there in the off-season but looked like swimming off the dock would be awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boat.

Perfect Getaway
We had the BEST time at Carolina Haven! The house was beautiful, clean and ready to enjoy. Everything was very well thought out and we appreciated being able to just drop our bags and RELAX. The dock was awesome for lounging and swimming and we were glad to have use of the boat lift. We loved that the grocery store was only 7 minutes away - easy to grab last minute/forgotten items. We've rented homes at Gaston for many years and Carolina Haven quickly became our favorite! We'll be back!!
