Gerald was very attentive. We never needed to wait for a response throughout the booking process as well as during our stay. He also gave very helpful suggestions regarding area attractions. The house is very clean and was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We look forward to visiting again.

Great house and location!

We loved the house and were very comfortable sleeping six adult women and hosting get togethers. We were there off season and managed with no AC but didn’t realize that until we arrived. There were two fans available. We were also not aware that there is an upstairs unit which did not affect us but might be important if families have kids or pets. The patio space was very pleasant and overall the house worked out perfectly for us!

Six of us had a great stay at Jed's cottage - he was available and helpful, responsive to a few requests. The cottage is delightful, clean, a short walk to the beach. Very nice property, wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time. The home was great for 6 adults and 2 children. Walking distance to the beach and so many things to do in the area.

My family and I had a great week! The house is located just 15 minutes walk from the public beach. The children had so much fun looking for shells and crabs! The host was very friendly and available. The check in and check out were easy. The house was well equipped. The only downside would be that some kitchen equipments were rusty and the backs of the beds and the undersides of the sofa cushions would have needed a small sweeper. Other than that, it was perfect! Thank you for this amazing week!

We have a history with this property in its previous ownership so it was wonderful to be back after a four year hiatus and we were thrilled! Gerald was very accommodating with a specific request and easily accessible through email and text. The home was incredibly clean and welcoming, well stocked and plentiful nice linens. The kitchen could use a new toaster and a set of sharp knives. There was a basket full of throws which was a nice touch and a cabinet loaded with games and books.The only thing we found unappealing was the messy back porch with random pieces of old furniture and cushions, some cushions dating back to our previous rentals and beyond their time. I’d suggest getting rid of the green outdoor furniture which rubs off on your clothing and the cushions that were there years ago, as they’re not usable. The outside would benefit from getting a deck box and new outdoor cushions so guests can enjoy the patio on the new outdoor set. Those cushions had been left out to the elements and saturated from the wet summer weather and very weathered looking, new ones would definitely be a plus. The outdoor shower is a great asset especially when your group returns from the beach and are vying for the one house shower…a fence gate door or at the least a shower curtain would be a great upgrade as well. Would highly recommend this property, location is great for a 5 minute walk to the beach, the back up to the marsh makes it a quiet roadway and very inviting setting!

Great location. Nice property. Owner was responsive. My only recommendation is to get a new mattress in the pink room as it was old & uncomfortable. Otherwise a good experience.

My Family and I truly enjoyed our stay here! It had the right amount of space for us and was a quick drive to the public beach! The place was very clean and the host was quick to respond! Highly recommend!

The house was spacious and well equipped with supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms. The neighborhood was very lovely and quiet. It is conveniently located fairly close to downtown Ogunquit. Just wish there was a better selection of softer mattresses and it would be more pleasant if odor neutral trash bags for the kitchen and laundry soap were used.

My friends and I had an amazing weekend getaway! The beach house was clean and a lot more spacious than what the pictures made it out to be. It was a close walk to the beach and in a great area. We will definitely be back next summer!

We had a great time, the neighborhood was perfect for a little one just learning how to walk. Minutes from the beach, steps from amazing marsh bird watching. House was clean and spacious, had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay in Wells! The house was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for our group of friends with lots of places to sit inside and outside of the house. Very short walk to the beach I a quiet neighborhood. We would recommend staying at this house!

Visited for an event in Portsmouth, the place was open and spacious for my group of 8, and Gerald was very accommodating for an early check in! Great location, just a walk away from the beach!

This house was ver clean And well equipped . It was airy and bright. I had overlooked the absence of A/C but luckily it was cool while we were there. It is a quick walk to the beach and a quick drive to downtown Ongunquit. There are people that live in the unit above but they did not impact our stay at all. I wasn't sure if the patio was shared or not, but we did not see anyone and did enjoy both the porch and patio. The owner was very communicative ! I would go back !

Bright and clean home with lots of private sitting areas inside and out and family sized dining area. Located in quiet neighborhood with a 10 minute walk to beach. Very accommodating host. Hope to visit again

We stayed at this rental for a long weekend, it was perfect for a bachelorette trip. Close to the beach and had all amenities that we could need. One thing of note is that the beach is private so you will have to walk (5min) to a public entrance and the unit is actually a split rental, meaning someone else is possibly staying in the separate unit upstairs. This was not really an issue but is something to note.

My family and I stayed here over Memorial Day and enjoyed the ocean ever day and had the absolute best stay. The host was great at fast communication and made us feel welcome! Moody beach was just a few min walk and the neighbors were all friendly. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. The property is small, but very roomy inside for six adults. It was extremely clean and fully stocked. It’s close to the beach in a nice neighborhood with friendly people. We’d definitely rent it again and/or recommend it.

Enjoyed this lovely home for a special get-together with 4 lifelong girlfriends. Very clean and Owner was very helpful and only a text or phone call away. Location was ideal - a comfortable walk to view egrets on the estuary or walk through the rose lined public way to one of the most beautiful beaches in Maine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location and an easy drive to both Portsmouth and Portland. Beach access is a few blocks away but the beach is massive! Would love to return in the summer time.

The renter forgot we were coming on that day. When we arrived 1hr early to view property. We noticed both lots had cars in it. I contacted renter to say we arrived and wanted to find out what time we can check in and what parking lot was ours. He responded he was not expexting us and that he was living there at that time. He asked if we could wait somewhere while he cleaned and got apartment ready. He was very nice and had unit ready in about an hour. The vrbo Ad never mentioned multiple units. And upstairs unit has tenants. One bedroom lists two sets of bunk beds only one bunk bed. Not enough room for two sets so two beds less than advertised. Important if your bringing kids. And some of the living room furniture smelled like old dirty sneakers. On our 2nd day there he showed up to do some outside bldg repairs. If he was trying to get us to never stay there again. He succeeded. The communication was terrible between vrbo and owners and us. We never received any updates, or door codes, my problem was I did not check with owner before arriving. From now on I will contact 2 weeks out. Apartment was nice and upstairs Tennant was respectful and quiet. Owner was very nice as well. It was just not our best weekend.

We had such an amazing time at this beautiful gem! My kids said it was the best beach ever and we travel a lot ❤️.
