This house was great. Sometimes when you read ads people say things that make it seem great but this house is what it said. My family are all clean freaks I rented this house to have my parents my in laws and siblings for my son’s 2nd birthday getaway, and it was everything it said. I couldn’t believe how clean the house was from stepping in on the first day. We treated the home like our own sneakers off etc. because we actually felt like at home minus all the noise from the city 😂. The pool was great getting to relax peacefully and quiet , watching the ducks and humming birds was a cool experience, we don’t have real wild life like that where I live. The hosts were great and got back to us right away because I couldn’t figure out the tv for my son, Larry answered right away and told me what to do. My wife loved it so much she was talking to her parents about buying a place out there but until that happens if I agree one day I would definitely be staying here again because it made me like I said feel like I was home without the noise.

Our few days in this cozy cabin were not enough. The cabin was comfortable and provided all that we needed. Wishing we had more time to sit and enjoy this cabin. The host is easy to communicate with and very helpful.

We got this vrbo to stay in while attending my son's wedding nearby. So we had family stay. QUIET in the woods, even tho its only 5 miles from the busy lake resort. Plenty of room, plenty of parking, great kitchen, great outdoor space/porch, the pool was nice (even though we didn't use it). Even laundry available, though we did not need it. Wifi was great and very necessary, as cell service not very good (at least with T-Mobile!). It was actually very nostalgic for me, as a kid I used to stay in an uncles lake-side cabin in the summer - the woody cabin smell was exactly the same took me back instantly to those great memories. Would stay again.

Absolutely wonderful house and property! There were three families staying: 6 adults and 6 kids ages 8-2. The little pool in front kept them busy constantly. If the weather was iffy in town they loved coming in and out of the pool. The small pond was also great for watching the frogs hop by. The Wi-Fi wars great! We had no trouble watching the TVs, movies, and connecting to the internet. We enjoyed the fire pit at night for s’mores and cooking on the grill. The house inside is beautiful with plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. It was truly a wonderful experience.

Their home was spacious and well equipped. We spent most of the time on the deck. Plenty of seating and for relaxing and enjoying a meal together. Thank you guys!!

We really enjoyed staying here! The front porch and outside dining areas were amazing. The proximity to Lake George Village was perfect. The “lake” up the street from the home was disappointing in size for swimming area. The pool at the home worked well but was smaller than the picture made it seem. Overall though the house was well stocked and very clean! We would definitely go back!!!

The owners of the property Larry and Karen were amazing, especially with excellent communication. You can clearly tell they care deeply about the property and that it meets your expectations. The property was SPOTLESS! The cabin had everything we could possibly need and more. Literally just bought food and ourselves. The appliances were all top notch. It was super nice to have a washer/dryer available, especially with the pool towels. The house had plenty of sleeping options and bathrooms. This was especially nice since we traveled with my mom and my adult siblings with children (ages range 3 months to 15 years of age). We spent a lot of time outdoors. The weather wasn't always on our side but the covered porch was ideal for that. The outdoor area exceeded our expectations (outdoor play area for kids, fire pit, multiple seating areas and the best was the pool). The pool is amazing for all ages. We especially liked the seating area in the pool. The light and heater were an added bonus. Being surrounded by forest, water and all the beautiful ferns just provided us all with relaxation, more then met our expectations. We cooked a lot at the home. It had plenty dishes and utensils. Maybe a kitchen island would be benefited in the property. We like to cook as a family and it was hard with counter available. We actually used the extra folding tables in basement and made an area that worked out great. I highly recommend this property. Thanks Larry & Karen

This house was perfect! It had everything you’d need and more. All we had to bring was ourselves and food. It was close to Lake George and about 35 minutes to Gore Mt. It suited skiers and nonskiers alike. A lot to do.

It was the perfect place to have a small family gathering. The place was fully stocked with everything.

Everything was great! I have no issues to speak of. I would stay again for sure!

We throroughly enjoyed our stay. We were a party of 12 and all fit comfortably. The property was beautiful and house was very clean. Communication with Larry and Karen was great and check-in/out very easy. We were a party of 3 families and the bedroom situation worked great for us. However, one thing to note depending on your party size is that one of the Queen bedrooms is sandwiched in between the two twin bedrooms. So you need to go through one of the twin bedrooms to get to it. It worked for us as all the kids stayed within those rooms. Overall a great time and would recommend staying here!

Our extended family had a great week together in this house! It was very clean and spacious. The pool is on the smaller side but all the kids still had a great time in it together. The only suggestion we’d make is to add a large kitchen island with additional seating since the dining table only seats 6. We cooked every night so space to sit together was our only issue since there were 14 of us. We really enjoyed the fire pit every night for s’mores too. We had a great time!

Property was perfect for our family of 12. When we arrived the house and grounds were spotless. Kids immediately went swimming in the heated pool while adults selected bedrooms and move in luggage. The grandkids had a great week as we were minutes from boating on Lake George, tubbing on the river, horseback riding and all of the other area attractions. Will definitely return.

This vacation was great. The upstairs rooms tended to be hot, despite the central air. The vents were not placed well for airflow. When we arrived, we could not get in, despite it being after 4. I guess they had issues with the outgoing tenants. On the other side, we were told specifically we needed to wait for inspection when leaving. We were ready to leave at 10, but waited until 11:30 when we just left. House was comfortable, the lake was just around the corner and for the most part our vacation was lovely.

All way a great time! Have been staying here the last 3 years. Location is great. Lake and pool always a plus. We have such a great time every year. House is clean and very spacious to spread out. Fun nights at the fire pit. Enjoy our days of hanging out at the lake and heading back to the pool to swim and have a bar b Que. short ride to Lake George.

Excellent location, easy to get to many things such as: swimming/beaches, mini golf, rodeo, shopping, kayaking, & fishing. Four full bathrooms & a bed for everyone! Very large deck areas to enjoy the outdoors & your own pool!

My 2 daughters and their families (including 2- 6 year old boys and 1 almost 4 year old girl) headed to Lake Luzerne/Lake George for a week long family vacation. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect for us. Plenty of room for the adults and kids to relax and play. House was spotless and was extremely well equipped. The heated pool is small, but was certainly big enough for the kids and the grownups enjoyed a little dip too. Location was great. Quiet wooded property yet only minutes to Lake George. We will be back!

Such a fun time at the house. The pool was a great addition for kids to have a nice dip. The patio, deck area, and fire pit were great areas to sit outside and relax. It was quant, quiet, and only 10 minutes from downtown Lake George. Hope to be back next year!

All was good and within a short drive to opportunities of varied kinds. Pool was a great refresher after workouts and hikes. Bring your own kayak or canoe and enjoy the lakes. Kitchen was easy for many to work together. Good mix of group and individual or couple bed and bath. Prospect Mt. was a challenge but some drove up. Thanks to hosts for help.

Spacious kitchen, great communal space. Love the bedroom and bunk room set ups. 20 mins to lake George and west mountain was perfect. Property owners were very communicative when we had questions. Will defiantly rent again!!

One word: Exellent!

We were a mixture of skiers and nonskiers. It was close to Lake George for those that did not ski and about a 30/40 minutes drive to Gore for those that skied. Plenty of room for all of us and the most comfortable beds and family room furniture that we have stayed in.

we stayed at the cabin for a week prior to my son's wedding. The size of the cabin was perfect for our group. We especially enjoyed the front porch and fire ring. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions. Everyone in my family would gladly stay there again.

We were eight adults and four children. The property was very clean and suited our needs well. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you could want. The host was very pleasant and responsive. Others have noted that the three first floor bedrooms lack privacy since you need to go through bedrooms to get to the other bedrooms and the bathroom. This is true. They are all inter-connected and would be fine for smaller children but we had two adults, three teenages and an 11 year old, boys and girls, in that area. The three second floor bedrooms were great for the other adults. The pool is small but heated and very clean. Fire pit allowed for great nighttime gatherings. Being a log cabin, sound travels through the walls and floors so it can be noisy. Location is good for all Lake George and Adirondack acivities.
