The house was amazing and stocked with everything we needed

We had three families staying here. Plenty of communal and individual space with plenty of outdoor furniture and heating lamps. The house is stocked with everything you need from standard pots and pans to instant pots, waffle makers, board games, TVs in every room, ev charger in the garage. Haven’t stayed in a rental so well equipped as Casa De Kona. The beach and great restaurants are a short drive away. The hosts are wonderful. They are quick to reply to texts and genuinely want to make your stay the best possible. The personal touches like the complimentary snacks, waters and the hand written welcome card really stand out. Highly recommended for large groups especially families and will definitely rent again!

It was easy to rent. Easy contact with owners. They made sure it was a great vacation. Supplied over and above what we expected. The houses were wonderful and we had a terrific family vacation. Thanks so much to them.

Great communication and easy access getting in. Very well stocked, including condiments, herbs and spices, along with games. The outdoor area was great! The family enjoyed the yard games and also the outdoor kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Probably the best vacation rental we have ever gotten.

We had such a great time here! From the initial communication to the last home detail, they really thought of everything to be home away from home. It was comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed for a long, rainy weekend. We were happy to stay and enjoy the comforts of this home. The beds were so comfortable, everything was very clean, and there were great toys and family-friendly things to do at the house and backyard. Stocked with all the kitchen appliances you could need and spices, etc we were happy to stay and cook for most meals. A great property and host and we hope to come back in the future!

Mike and Debby have a beautiful house. They made our stay easy, relaxing, and private. They provided a luxury and thoughtfulness you find in a family friendly resort. I would highly recommend to anyone with a large family - BOOK IT!

This property is perfect for larger groups and families with all ages. Property was immaculate, check extremely easy, and everything was very accessible. Amenities gave all ages plenty to do, and beaches were a short drive. Checkout and communication was very easy. Loved staying here! Danielle

Debbie and Mike were amazing hosts! They were quick to respond and flexible in an accommodating our stay. The home was a perfect fit for our family, the backyard had plenty of room and space for our group and many activities to keep us entertained. Would definitely stay again!

They have gone above and beyond to make this a top notch experience for the whole family! Pretty sure the kids would have given up going to the parks we had tickets for to stay at the house if they were given the choice. They said next time we are scheduling a day just to hang out at the house!

It was a weekend of extended family fun and Casa de Kona was our home base. Debby communicated with us on a regular basis, always prompt, very warm, appropriate and very helpful. The home was sparkling clean, with play areas and lots of seating, well stocked with board games, play equipment and beach toys. Perfect for hanging out. We arranged for a professional photographer to take photos in the outdoor spaces and that was a blast! Lots of opportunities to reconnect and bond. I would recommend it all the way!

Great property. The two home concept worked great for our extended family. Lots of little perks you don’t see in many rentals. Owners were very responsive to needs. Grandkids paradise.

The pictures of this home do not do it justice. We stayed here for a bachelorette party and had a wonderful time. The house is gorgeous and just an all around great place to hang out. Mike and Debby were also so kind, understanding, and beyond accommodating! Thank you!

Property was immaculately clean and beds were comfortable. Beautiful, fun outdoor area. Plenty of room for gathering. Kitchens were well equipped for cooking and serving food. Really nice private yard, outdoor grill and family room. Neighborhood was pretty and walkable to beach front (1.5 miles).

Okay first, Mike & Debby had awesome communication throughout our entire stay but at the beginning Debby let us know that the house would be available a little bit earlier than expected! (Who ever lets you check in EARLY?!) Super awesome! I had two picky women in my party who are super hard to please, they arrived first & were able to easily get into the home and they LOVED it! My aunt was so impressed by all of the upgraded details and throughout our trip kept saying "We have EVERYTHING we need!" which is so true, both kitchens come fully stocked! Mike & Debby put in little extras like snacks and a chocolate cake with a card telling us to enjoy our trip! It's those little things that are so cool & make staying at a rental feel more like home. We had a little wildlife visitor while staying here so keep an eye out & make sure to pack up any snacks that might be left out in the coolest outdoor hang out spot. These hosts went above and beyond on this property and literally have you supplied for the best SoCal adventure with beach chairs, wagons, boogie boards, toys in the yard for the kids, and every game you can even imagine. You're going to love staying here!! Thanks again Mike & Debby for hosting us! We'll most definitely be back!

Kid friendly with lots of activities and games for when you get back from the beach. No need to bring your own beach gear. They have it all. The property is beautiful and completely. A great place for a family get together. Hosts even let us check in early!

We had a group of our family stay here for a week, and the home could not have been better. Every detail was planned for, the house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The home was super clean and beyond comfortable. The back yard was the best spot, everyone loved being able to gather together and enjoy. We cannot wait to visit again.

Really nice property with lots of room for our group of 13. Loved the outdoor spaces and the variety of toys/games that appealed to our family including young kids and teens. Great selection of beach toys/chairs/umbrellas was super helpful so that we didn't have to pack those items from home. Perfect California getaway for multiple families traveling together.

Debby and Mike are amazing hosts, and combined with their beautiful home, made this the best rental experiences I've had. My family (13 of us) loved our stay at Casa de Kona. We rented the entire property and everyone loved the comfortable beds, large outdoor spaces, games and toys for kids, and quiet neighborhood location. We made good use of the grills and fire tables for delicious meals and comfy chats. Check-in was easy. The kitchens are very well equipped, with everything we desired for preparing meals. There are tons of useful items for trips to the beach. The hosts, Mike and Debby, took very good care of us!

Such a great home!!! Party of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). Description and pictures don't do it justice! So much more than i could have expected. We spent new years eve at the fire pit with drinks and dessert. Host is so hospitable they even left us a bowl of snacks, a cake, and chandon champagne!! I can't wait to return!

From arrival to departure, our family of 14 had a wonderful experience! We rented both locations for us and our extended family for a retirement ceremony. The villa was immaculate and had more offerings and space than we could have asked for, especially so close to the coast. I am still dreaming about the king size bed on the second floor—so comfy! The kids and parents loved the outdoor games and entertaining space for coming together. All around—perfection. The owners were super sweet and were great communicators. They really made us feel welcome. Oceanside will always be our second home and we hope to plan many more family vacations in the future. We know where we’ll be staying!

Everything was super clean. So much to entertain our party of 13 of little children to adults. We had everything we needed and more!! So close to the beach and highway. A lot of things right around the house. Neighbors were nice, plenty of parking. We asked about something and they made it happen!! We will definitely be coming back!!

Everything about our experience at Mike and Debby's was 5 star!! They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable from outdoor games and toys for the kids, multiple grills, snacks and fully stocked upgraded kitchens. If you have a big group with young kids the two house set up is perfect for some to sleep and others up. Communication was swift and friendly with Debby. Close to many activities, restaurants in both Oceanside and Carlsbad. But you probably won't want to leave!

I was throughly impressed with these houses. It was perfect for our families. There were 3 family groups that stayed here total of 9 of us and like at least 4 more people would have fit comfortably. The house had everything I could've wanted, even more small appliances then I have at my own home. The hosts were wonderful and left us snacks and some desserts to eat with our family, really above & beyond. We had no problem making any meal and kind of felt sad we didn't make Thanksgiving dinner at home instead of going out. The house is only about 1/2 mile from Train station, we took the Train (coaster) multiple days into the heart of San Diego with no traffic!!! It was also fun because no one person always had to drive and we could talk or do whatever. Oceanside beach was wonderful and we spent a whole day walking around and hanging out at the beach, the house has multiple beach toys, boggie boards, chairs & shade for you to take to the beach, all in good condition. Lots of towels for the beach too! The backyard is great - we never felt crowded or on top of each other (which on a family vacation is important) There's ample sitting areas, the gas fire pit table is awesome for roasting marshmallows, sitting around a "camp" fire is where the best memories are made. I almost hate telling everyone how great this place was because the cost might go up for high demand. Seriously rent this place for a beach vacation ~ I really don't think you'll be disappointed.

We had 7 cyclists, all over 60, in town for a charity bicycling event. We do these trips several times a year. Every one of us was thrilled and impressed with this property and our hosts. Everything was clean, well organized and well thought out. The rooms were great and provided good sleeping flexibility. The amenities were well over the top. Coffee, fruit, Bundt cakes, soaps, clean up supplies….all there and of excellent quality. We enjoyed the exceptional outdoor facilities every day and really had wonderful evenings around the fire table. I was the organizer for this trip, and the only downside is, because this was such a great experience, that all my buddies want me to handle all future trips. Debbie and Michael were fantastic hosts and we’ll look to stay with them again should we be back in the Oceanside area.

Mike and Debby's property was perfect for our family of 10 adults and 3 kids under 3. We rented both houses on the property and the layout was perfect for everyone. It is spacious with plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable—we could spread out with multiple areas to relax in. We spent most of our time in the backyard/patio area. There was plenty of extra things to keep the kids busy such as yard games and toys. They thought of everything, have plenty of extra touches and we appreciated the extra toys and cart for beach days. Mike and Debby are excellent hosts with great communication and you can tell they really wanted us to have a good time. I wouldn't hesitate to book again the next time we are in Oceanside.
