Great place and we are picky😀

Rene's property was wonderful! Spacious with two master bedrooms and a 2 car garage. Best of all the property is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach! We had such a wonderful time. Rene provided excellent communication. We can't wait to come back next year!

Amazing Prime/safe location, we walked everywhere! The house is fully stocked we didn't need anything other than what we wanted to eat. Plenty of space for our dog to do her business in the back patio, which is shared with unit C. However if you, like me associate cleanliness with relaxation/ vacation this place left much to desire in that aspect especially durning Covid times!

We enjoyed the location - an easy walk to the beach and to the village.

Great location, lot of space, everything you could ask for for a vacation near the ocean. Restaurants and entertainment in walking distance. House was spacious and well maintained. Host was very responsive. Would highly recommend.

Great location but could have been cleaner

The place was as it states. Wonderful location, easy check in process. The townhome was another place of home for my family. Beds were comfortable, plenty of room, clean, and pleasant place to stay. Will absolutely come again. Highly tecommend.

We had a great stay. The listing didn't do justice to how close to the ocean this property really is (1/2 block) and how close to downtown Carlsbad (less than 4 blocks). We watched the sunset every day on the beach. The space was amazing, with 3 bathrooms and 2 large bedrooms with big beds. We had 3 of us, but we could easily have had many more people because there was a sofabed and 2 roll-away beds. We appreciated the beach supplies and the garage for our car. This rental was really a good value and we would come back here in a heartbeat. I hope we get the opportunity to do just that!

Overall good - enjoyable place to stay. Location was great for walking everywhere; one block to beach. Nice size condo, with basic amenities. Really liked the bed and sheets. Could use some updated furnishings and/or a thorough cleaning; and a new or repaired TV in the lower bedroom.

The reviews of this rental are completely accurate. The location is very convenient no need to drive to local restaurants, shops and beach. Easy access to interstate 5 for a day trip to San Diego and also to visit Camp Pendleton. Plenty of space for 4 adults in the unit. Clean and plenty of soft large towels supplied along with fully stocked kitchen. Rene is very responsive. If I had to pick a critique— the decor is dated and not visually appealing.

The property’s VRBO listing is very accurate. Pictures are spot on, too. The only thing I would add is that there is a washer/dryer, which was quite convenient. The extra half-bath was a nice bonus. And the location is just perfect. A very easy walk to the beach or to the village.

Location can't be beat. Once you arrive park your car in the garage and you don't have drive again until you check out. Everything is within walking distance; beach access, restaurants and shopping. Condo description is accurate and very clean.

I don't know where to start. My family of four absolutely loved this condo for its location and the spaciousness. It is located within a very short walk to the beach and also downtown Carlsbad. It was also extremely spacious for the entire family. Every room had a large queen or king bed and there were three restrooms. The condo even had a spacious parking area and its own garage. The only critique I have is that the furniture was outdated and the beach supplies needed to be replaced...but these were things were not enough to make an impact on our overall stay. I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering a place in Carlsbad. Sleeps 4 very comfortably but can accommodate sleeping 6 people without question.

This property was clean, spacious, quiet and in a great location. The owner provided chairs, umbrella and some toys for the beach. The beach is just a few minutes down the street walking distance. The owner was attentive and made themselves available as well. Would definitely recommend for those traveling as a family and with small dogs.

My parents & I stayed at the property to visit family in the area and be right next to the beach at the same time. My mom is disabled. We knew there were stairs on the property but the bedrooms are not listed on what is upstairs or downstairs. I did request more pictures of the property but didn't get them and forgot to request again. The upstairs bedroom was too high for her to get in even with the stepstool we travel with for her. I had to climb in it myself. Downstairs bedroom bed was way lower. Unfortunately, she had to go up and down the stairs more than we hoped. We are really picky about where we stay due to my mom having lupus and swelling in her legs often...we can never predict how she will be feeling physically. Pros: The property is a beautiful property. You can't beat the location. LOVED the fact the condo had a garage! Upstairs kitchen is spacious. Master bedroom is spacious with 2 rollaway beds in the closet. 2-5 minute walk to the beach: FYI -access is via a steep ramp/hill to the sand & waves. Garage has beach the low foldable beach chairs and some toys for use. Plenty of towels available and beach towels are available as well. Cons: Living room & dining room furniture was not that comfortable & little dated. No chair or bench in master bedroom to sit down on while dressing and bed is too high even for taller ppl to be able to do so. There were a few ants (not a whole bunch, but a few) around but given its summertime and the location, plus its an older property - not sure if you can completely get away from that. Overall, its a nice property especially if your main activity is to be at the beach daily. Not as conducive if you have special needs or more family oriented type dinners/hanging out but still workable. We enjoyed our trip. I would recommend more pictures of the rooms and details for ppl. We are thankful to have stayed.

Finding a place that will allow pets is not always easy, and we were thankful to have found this one.
