This was our first time using vrbo and we would highly recommend it

The house was very clean and the decor was cute. Just a few blocks from the beach and shops. We cut our trip short due to Tropical Storm Debby but we definitely want to come back. Property owner was great to work with in that regard. 10/10 Highly recommend staying here!

Beds were extremely comfortable, but very dirty. We pulled up our sheets as soon as we got there and there is a lot of dog hair, human hair, something that appeared to be red popcorn and chips on the mattress cover right under the fitted sheet. Housekeeping is definitely cutting corners. The floors were swept but not clean. I found this out when I dropped my water bottle and used a paper towel to wipe it up. The paper towel was filthy. The top shelf in the kitchen had a lot of dead bugs. I don’t think it’s been cleaned for quite some time. A lot of blankets in closets and the cubby holes under the TV in the living room all smelt of dirty dog. No one told us that when we arrived that one side of the sofa was wet from someone trying to get out some kind of stain but it smelled like pee. We were unable to use one side of the sofa for the first few days. There’s just too much knickknacks. I picked up what I thought was a vase on the kitchen counter to move it so that I could make breakfast not realizing that it had a cord plugged into the wall and it was a light but it was also sitting on top of the glass cake dish. Just too much stuff in the way. There is a clock everywhere you look. There is a ladder with pictures of palms in the hallway that’s just in everybody’s way. The hallway is small so having this sticking out halfway through it is ridiculous. Management basically called me a liar about the free bottle of wine that was suppose to be waiting for us. Not worth it!

The house was cute and clean and well located. Great communication with the rental company too!

We really enjoyed our time at Salt Palms Cottage. It was clean, well stocked and perfect for our family of five and dog. We were looking for a place to take a short vacation where we could take our senior dog and this turned out to be perfect. He could easily walk out and around the fully fenced in yard. The location was quiet and only a short walk to the beach. We walked to all the restaurants and shops that we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again.

The rental was great for us and two pups (fenced yard). Weather was not so much😀 Only issue is not cutting board in the house …we remedied that for the next renter. We will be back!

Great location, perfectly as advertised. Will stay again!
