The breakfast was amazing: freshly brewed coffee and a good selection of teas, fresh juice, freshly baked homemade bread and treats, fresh fruit, bircher muesli and lots of cereals to choose from. Also, you had the option of a hot cooked breakfast.

I was happy with everything.

The presentation, decor, and those final little touches make a stay at Orana House outstanding. Nina really goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. Having stayed extensively around Australia, I would personally rate Orana House in the top five of colonial style accommodation.

There is nothing not to like about a stay here.

The house itself was on top of the hill with a nice view to the bay and surronded with the gorgeous flower garden! The room had the most comfortable beds ever and we loved the bed heating! Dining room had all the essentials for your convenience all day round and at breakfast Nina suprised us every morning with delicious bakes. Nina was very helpful and friendly! She helpes us organize a birthday suprprise for my husband. She even baked us cookies for the road with the most heartfelt note on the day of our departure. We felt pampered! Thank you!!!

Bed was a bit soft

Great B&B. I’ve stayed here three times. Location is ideal for trips into Hobart - just across the bridge - and back to the airport. Nina looks after you very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay yet again here.

A beautiful property set in lovely gardens. The host was very warm and accommodating. The ambience of the facility was exceptional. There is a wonderful sitting room and also dining room. Breakfast was wonderful. Will definitely stay again.

The bed wasn’t very comfy for 2 tall adults, and I had some back discomfort at the end of the stay.

L'accueil de Nina est exceptionnel de gentillesse et d'attentions, La maison est très belle avec une forte personnalité, Les chambres sont parfaites, cosy, confortables, personnalisées. Et le petit déjeuner est succulent.

Nach einer mehrtägigen Bus-Rundreise durch Tasmanien kamen wir, da uns die ersten 3 Nächte sehr gut gefallen haben (siehe Bewertung weiter unten), nochmals für eine Nacht zurück. Das Zimmer war dieses Mal außergewöhnlich groß und bestens eingerichtet, wobei erneut das Ambiente des Hauses gewahrt blieb.

Sehr angenehmes Ambiente; es ist sicherlich kein modernes Haus, sondern ein Haus, dass schon viele Jahre gesehen hat. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer sowie der Gemeinschaftsräume (etwa Lounge) ist sehr sorgsam dem Alter angepasst und zusammengestellt. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Sehr gutes WLAN. Wunderbarer (Blumen-)garten vor dem großen Zimmerfenster. Sehr zuvorkommende Besitzerin. Wunderschöne Lage gegenüber dem Hafen von Hobart auf der anderen Seite einer Bucht.

Die öffentl. Verkehrsmittel von Hobart sind echt ein Kraus - aber man braucht sie um in die Stadt zu kommen - außer man nimmt Uber.

Nina was a wonderful and friendly hostess. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was generous in size and lovely and clean. The view and gardens are beautiful. It’s that personal friendly service that makes the difference!

Nice old heritage style house. The garden was lovely and well maintained. We enjoyed the history and we were able to use the kitchen to prepare sandwiches. Breakfast and pastries were nice. Cooked breakfast was separate thought

We had stayed here before and the location was excellent for our trip back to the airport. The room we stayed in was large and gorgeous. Nina the host is lovely and a bonus for breakfast was her home made rolls.

Everything - from the decor, comfort and ambience of Orana House to the wonderful host Nina and the garden with the stunning Roses. Great size bedroom and bathroom. Dining room had lovely decor and breakfast very well done.

The hosts were excellent cooks and bakes delicious cakes and pies and cookies. The rooms were nicely furnished and every detail was meticulously taken care of. The hosts were very friendly and catered for all our needs, including a good breakfast at 5am in the morning for us to catch an early plane.
