Beautiful home and very clean. Lovely pool/patio area. The downside was the pool was green when we arrived and we lost a day of swimming. The upside was the management company got the pool service out right away - unfortunately we had to give the chemicals 24 hours to work

We moved our oldest into college and stayed the week to help her get familiar with the area. We enjoyed some pool time and made trips to the beach! We will definitely be back.

Myself, and my husband and our two young daughters and our teenager and our adult son and there grandma and my small yorkie furr baby stayed here for our yearly beach vacation!!! I looked at A lot of places for my big family to stay and one that would accommodate my furr doggy and one with a pool for my kids!! I looked a lot trying to find a place but money was the problem with most places are the places that had a pool we would have to share and could only swim till a certain time. I found this home and it had everything I was looking for for my myself and my family!! My kids Beyond loved the pool and all my family had plenty of space to stay in the home!! Also the master bedroom had the most comfortable bed I have actually ever had on vacation and that’s 8yrs of us staying at beach places with hard beds! The only thing I can say that I didn’t like was that the beach was about 30 minutes are so away, but we can’t have everything we want! My kids grandma wish her room would have had a tv cause my kids mostly used the living room tv and the den tv! We used ours in the master but not many channels to real choose from on it! When we got here there was barely any propane so I payed 30 bucks for a Néw propane tank and we used it a few times. Again this home was a great place just no beach within walking distance roughly 30 minutes are more depending on traffic to Jacksonville beach is the closest. I would love for my family to stay here again if we save enough money next yr!

We loved the house and pool. Really great character. Fun spaces for the kids and family. Nice pool area. Landscaping could be better. Also more pests than we would like but still really enjoyed the space.

We absolutely enjoyed our time, house was amazing, backyard was amazing overall had an enjoyable amazing relaxing time.

Great area. House has serious wiring issues and hazards. No plate over open outlet. Mold in shower. Lawn and pool were not kept up. Outdoor space was in poor condition. Very expensive stay and not worth our 20 hour drive to get there. Won’t rent again.

We enjoyed our short stay last minute with family due to the recent storms. We enjoyed the pool and two separate living rooms. The beds were very comfortable and the house had all the accommodations we needed. Our only real issue was that the grill did not work well.

The cozy home and cool backyard gave us an opportunity to cool off and relax poolside.. we enjoyed it every day & in the morning I would get a book and read with my coffee poolside! It was so relaxing! The location was central to everyone & everything we wanted to do. The owners were so kind when I reached out & we will be back!

This house was absolutely perfect for our weekend in Jacksonville. They had everything we could've needed. We loved the pool. Didn't use the outside grilling area but it was a nice touch. House was clean, beds were comfortable. Nice neighborhood. If you rent this property you won't regret it.

Great house to vacation in. Our stay was too short to take advantage of all the house features and furnishings. Wish we could have stayed longer, but time and other commitments prevented that.

Clean and cute. Plenty of space. Master bedroom bed was too soft for our tastes, so we found a firm bed upstairs and had a great night's sleep. My teen was happy for the master suite and private bath. Pool was fantastic! Little amenities everywhere and house was situated in a great location. Owners quick response when our tired brains couldn't figure out the door or when something wasn't working, the replacement showed up seamlessly. We had such a great time and would stay again.

My husband, sister and brother had a positive experience spending a weekend here (in town for father's b-day). This mature property was as advertised and and reminded us of our childhood. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
The appliances are new, the pool is lovely with a full privacy fence around the lot. There are plenty of mature trees. We saw an owl and humming birds in the backyard.
The house was close to everything we needed and located within a nice neighborhood. Toiletries and plenty of towels were provided. There were floats for the pool and bicycles (we did not use these as it was too cool, but a nice touch for warmer weather).
Everyone agreed we were glad glad to be staying in this home vs. a local hotel. Some of the rooms were larger than expected. The space was great for visiting and catching up with one another in a cozy atmosphere.

We loved our stay here. Bart & Sue were incredibly accommodating and courteous. The house was amazing and the spaces were super cool! We loved our time there and would recommend to anyone who wants to have some fun in JAX.

Thank you for our holiday Thanksgiving stay! This is a Beautiful home inside and out. We loved the backyard. Towels were provided and a few kitchen items. The only issue we experienced were the lizards kept coming in and out of the master room through a small hole in the door, the internet went out but the technician came in the same day and not all of the bedrooms had TVs for our family. But overall we enjoyed our stay. 🥰

We had one handicap person in our group. It felt like every room had a couple of steps to get from one place to another. The entire layout of the floorplan was weird. The two bedrooms upstairs had one bath and slanted ceilings. The upstirs temperature was uneven. Downstairs there was one bedroom with two full baths. The beds were so-so matresses. Everything was sparkling clean. The out door pool was amazing. as was the back yard. Our family had intended to go to the beach but the backyard pool was so wonderful we just stayed there.

Nice property conveniently located.
Overall it was excellent. Was disappointed that the fence didn’t enclose the entire property ( since it is located on a busy street) and that most of the back yard was overgrown/unmowed and unusable but the pool was excellent and the house was well equipped and maintained. We will probably consider renting it again.

Outstanding Place
I only had a short stay at the English Cottage Pool Home for work but really fell in love with it. I am a big fan of the style, A-Frame home, sunken living room. The place was immaculate and management was fantastic. Location was great too - walking distance to Grumpy's which is a go-to locals place for breakfast. Can't wait to go back I had a stellar time.

Clean and Comfy
We enjoyed our weekend at Sue and Barts house. Everything was as pictured and the house was incredibly spacious. The biggest thing we were looking for was safe neighborhood and clean. We definitely got that. The trees surrounding the house were beautiful and in the morning sitting out by the pool we saw butterflies and birds -very relaxing. We’d stay here again if we come back to the area. She and Bart were easy to get ahold of an attentive to our needs. (The pool was really great too)

Long Weekend Getaway
My family and I went away for the weekend looking for a quieter getaway but with close proximity to entertainment, shopping and restaurants. This place was perfect for that and also has a very nice pool/backyard patio area for lounging around the house.

Mixed review.
Nice property needing some maintaining. Overall physically comfortable. Two issues, the maximum occupancy stated did not mean number of people sleeping in the house, but how many people on site. Since we were visiting family, this limited our original plans. That wasn’t obvious until too late to cancel.. Ended up feeling like we were under observation and under threat of eviction the whole time. No one disturbed or policed us openly. Some of this is apparently required by the township, which looks to be openly debating issues with rentals. Second, property located 100 years from Amtrak line into Florida. 2:45, 430 am trains were a surprise.

Relaxing getaway
If you're planning to spend time in the Jacksonville area, then you must consider this house! The entire experience was excellent. The house had an ideal location, was very clean, with a large backyard and clean pool. The check-in process was easy and allowed us to focus on our time off.

Beautiful Home
The home is beautiful, and we really enjoyed our stay. The pool initially had some leaves in it upon arrival, however the homeowners sent a pool cleaner to come and clean it early so we can enjoy it. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating. The home itself is very pretty and had plenty of space for the kids to entertain themselves.
