Our 3 generation family had a wonderful vacation, and while we were busy every day enjoying all that Door County has to offer, it was so nice to come home every evening to this beautiful home. The kids loved the trails in the woods and the large yard to play in. We had everything we needed and definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in an area full of family activities and fun! We would love to be able to return in the winter.

We had a great experience with our stay here. The owner was very responsive and checked in with us when a strong storm popped up. The house was fantastic. Clean and comfortable and really nicely decorated. We had three generations stay here, a total of 7 people and it worked very well. The only two points to be aware of when booking is the open loft areas upstairs - there are curtains, but sound does travel from downstairs (this was clearly laid out in the listing, so not a surprise). Second, we did spend more time than we would have liked driving. The house is closer to the southern end of where all the towns are. It is beautiful countryside, though, so the drives were enjoyable and lots of little places to stop along the way. We went kayaking, hiking, minigolfing, made art, went to an outdoor theater and ate lots. A great trip and a beautiful property!

We rented this for a family Christmas. Beautiful and comfortable property beautifully decorated for the holidays. Great kitchen, fireplace, and lots of room. Two cautions: Wifi is metered if you have teens or folks who have to be working online it is a problem. Second, and more of an issue for us, the upstairs bedrooms have no walls. They are one giant open loft with privacy curtains. Privacy was good, noise bad. If you have adults who want to stay up and littles who need to sleep (and vice versa on Christmas morning), this can be difficult. Not a deal breaker, but worth knowing. Overall great! Owner and manager above and beyond!!

Great house! Plenty of great spaces to eat, cook, relax and enjoy outdoor time. Remote and quiet, but easy access to all of the Door County attractions and restaurants. The house was perfectly stocked with everything you would look for and a spot for an outdoor fire with the wood ready to go. Would recommend!

Beautiful place that made you feel like you were in the middle of nowhere, yet very close to the areas we wanted to visit. Owners and property manager are great.

Timer Lodge is a beautiful, quiet, clean place. Plenty of room inside and out. The kitchen was well stocked which made cooking meals at the lodge easy. There was a great assortment of family movies and indoor games which kept our kids (11, 7, and 4) busy inside. The trail at the property, the sand around the fire pit, and the hammock kept our kids busy outside. This was the perfect place to start and end our day on our family vacation to door county. Convenient location (about 15 minutes from Sturgeon Bay, Egg Harbor, Fish Creek) which made it easy to explore the peninsula without ever having to drive too far. On top of all of this, the owners were very responsive and great to work with. Highly suggest Timber Lodge for your Door County trip!

This is a great place to stay. We loved the quiet and the quality of the cabin. Whoever built this cabin put a lot of money into it. There were no short cuts. We had no problems with anything. Nick and Nicole are doing a good job. Looking forward to next year.

This property was clean, quiet, and family-friendly. The owners went out of their way to make sure that there were enough towels, blankets, and cookware. I can't recommend this property enough!

Everyone in our group loved this property. Location was secluded and felt very private but also convenient to all the activities we wanted to do. Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Timber Lodge, I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Door County, and we will be returning here again. The place is beautiful and so is the area. 5 Stars from us for sure.

The beauty of the grounds & home were what attracted us to this home, and we were not disappointed. The home was furnished beautifully and comfortably. Maybe the biggest surprise for me, and while it seems a small thing, the bath towels were great! My theory is, if the host cares enough to give you great towels, they probably care about everything else. Nick was very responsive when we did need to contact him, for which we were very grateful. We had a comfortable, relaxing stay, close enough to the more "touristy" places to be convenient but far removed enough to not be crowded.
