Not only the place was overall very dirty, it was also unsafe. Water coming from the ceiling after neighbour shower, MASSIVE hole in the shower as work was being done. Pubic hair everywhere, sea through shutters, barely any cutlery (and dirty). I asked to leave to a hotel for the last night as it really was unacceptable and they didn't even agree! SHOCKING. FYI I lived in India, so I am not easily shocked but this was not right. Bad place, dirty and a bad service. Do yourself a favour and do not book this place!

Nice and spacious apartment with kitchen and nice bathroom. Location was like 15 minutes walk from the city centre and 5 from the beach. Comunication with staff was excellent.

There is a recontruction of the whole outsite part of the building going on and the work was very noisy and messy. The rubbish containers right outside the apartment entrance means that there is also a lot of noise from breaking glass atc. There were just a few pieces of kitchenware. Some more could be used.

A good location close to the sea and Kemptown.

There is a row of large and very smelly waste bins right by the door used at all hours, noisy neighbours, shabby decor and a general air of neglect to the property. The windows can’t be propped open, so it’s boiling hot. The whole place is in dire need of a lick of paint and some new furniture - everything is worn and a bit damaged or soiled. We were hurried out by the cleaners and felt the apartment was significantly overpriced.

This apartment is on the ground floor. We discovered that one of the locks for one of the large sash windows was broken and so the property was accessible from the street. This made it unsecure and, as two women, we did not feel safe staying here, either for our personal safety overnight or with regard to leaving valuables in the flat during the day. We asked for assistance from the property manager using the mobile phone number supplied. They asked for photographic evidence which I sent by text. They said they would contact the property landlord and get back to me. They never did, neither did they reply to my texts or answer further calls. Since I had zero confidence the matter would be resolved, I contacted Booking.com customer services. They were very helpful and spoke to the property manager on the same mobile phone number. The property manager had seen the photos I sent and agreed that the window lock was broken. She stated again that she would be contacting the property landlord. She also agreed with the Booking.com customer service operative that we would get a full refund if the repair could not be made. They both agreed to contact me within an hour. That contact never came and so I cancelled the booking via text message and via Booking.com and requested the full refund. We had to pay premium prices for a room in a hotel for the duration of our stay. We left the property within hours of arriving. I contacted Booking.com again the following day and was advised to wait at least 48 hours for a reply. To date (one week later) neither the property manager nor Booking.com have contacted me and I am still waiting to hear if I will receive a full refund. Other things noted in the two hours we were in the flat: cheap and chipped melamine desk and bedside table. Poorly stocked kitchen. Only a few glasses, no tea towel and the cheapest washing up liquid The window frames were dirty - discovered when investigating the lock situation.

Very nice, cosy and tidy flat, very good location for those that would like to enjoy the quiet part of Brighton, comfortable beds and so welcoming

Could be a bit cleaner, especially the kitchen and the windows, could also be a bit more maimtenanced, for example only 2 windows were able to open and the wardrobe door was hanging.
