The house was really pretty and easily accommodated 5 adults and an infant. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and all the extra towels as well as other special touches were appreciated.

The home was beautiful in a nice quiet neighborhood and great location! The host was amazing in communicating and making you feel at home! Definately will be staying there again

We stay at vrbos quite often and this by far was the best experience. The home had a very welcoming feeling. Elena asked if we were coming for any particular reason and we mentioned it was my son's graduation. She not only decorated the table for a celebration, but also wrote my son the sweetest graduation card. So many personal touches that she gave us. It truly was the best place we have ever stayed at, because of Elena.

We came to Vancouver to take a 4 day training class. This was the first time that any of us have used VRBO. Our class was in Hazel Del and the house was very convenient to our class, restaurants and the waterfront. The host Elena was amazing and and had wonderful communication. The house was immaculate and exceeded our expectations. The area was very quiet and felt cozy and secure! The kitchen is well stocked for things you might want and you are free to use them. I wasn’t able to bring body wash or a hair dryer, to my surprise the shower was stocked with shampoo, conditioner and a body wash. There was also a hair dryer in a bag under the sink, it had a diffuser which came in handy since we had snow fall of all things in April. I actually enjoyed not wearing shoes in the house and it all felt so clean we kept our socks on. If you are on the fence with a rental in Vancouver grab this deal while you can! I would stay here if I come up to take another class or just to the area. Elena thank you again for everything!

The house was meticulous. She requested no shoes in the house which is how we live in our house. She had the kitchen stocked with every condiment you would ever need as well as provided things you would never think of.

This home exceeded our expectations! It’s like the pictures, only better! Every room was beautiful and spacious, kitchen well stocked, beds and chairs super comfy and there were too many added comforts to count. When we arrived only to find the door lock was touchy because of a low battery, Elena came right over to take care of us. The neighborhood is quiet, yet close to amenities. Our family has stayed in many VRBO rental houses, and this is one of the very best.

This rental was perfect. Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Lots of special touches that made us feel so pampered. Close to family in Portland, an easy drive. Excellent communication with the owners. I would highly recommend this gorgeous home to anyone visiting the area!! A+++++

The home is very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Communication with the owner is very easy and responsive. We enjoyed our stay very much and Vancouver was a good base to experience the entire area.

My family stayed in Vancouver for a few days as part of larger trip in the Northwestern states. Elena was very thoughtful and accommodating. We had fresh cut flowers on the table, goody bag, and a nice card when we arrived. We were thankful for the air conditioning because we the area was experiencing a heat wave with record highs. Our plans for activities changed due to the heat. We drove to Cannon Beach one day and visited swimming holes in the area another day. We checked out the waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge, too. The house has ping pong and foosball which we played in the evening. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

This rental was perfect for our family. Very quiet neighborhood and the house was very clean and tidy. It was a great location for all the activities we wanted to do around the Portland/Vancouver area. Elena had absolutely everything we needed and my son loved the ping pong table - we played it every morning and evening!! The welcome gift was very sweet and my son was super excited that it included popcorn because it is his favorite! Elena was very responsive when we reached out and she checked in with us throughout our stay and provided recommendations. Will try to rent again if we make it back to the area.

My colleague and I were looking for a home in which we could each have our own bedroom + bathroom. I reached out to the owner and there was not an instant approval. There was a lot of back and forth on her part to vet the renter. It may have been a smoother process if she just had the renter sign her agreement. It was an inconvenience as I was in a time crunch. Never the less, the property completely matched the listing and the home is beautiful. It was a 15 minute drive to our office. I can’t speak to the location as I am completely unaware of the Vancouver area, but I do know the new waterfront (River photos) is about 7 miles away, so not far. She was very ‘attentive’ with communication and requesting arrival + departure time, but it’s most likely to prepare and welcome her guests. She goes above and beyond to ensure her guests feels welcome. For instance, my silk blouse was wrinkled and I was pleasantly surprised to find a steamer. We were also greeted with sparking juice + towel baskets with chocolate candies. She provides make up towels + toiletries, so that was helpful. It is obvious that the entire home was remodeled and she chose ‘homey’ finishes. The cleanliness is evident and the house was impeccable. Reading the guest book, the home has only been in use for 2 months or so. She has done her best to keep the home pristine with the request to not wear outdoor shoes. She provides cloth, sanitized slippers, but I brought my own as she prioritized her rules as a requirement for her agreement. She has hand sanitizer in multiple areas of the home with masks. Recommendations: hair dryer and tea kettle. Luckily, I brought a hair dryer, but if I had not that would’ve been horrible. Also, she provides an assortment of tea, but we had to use a pot. I don’t like to use a coffee maker. Final overview: It’s reasonably priced— but more than worth it!

The house was very peaceful and made you feel like you were at home in newly remodeled house. Lots of space to spread out. Great patio and backyard. Quiet neighborhood and close to lots of shopping and take out food “COVID” thing restaurants were just reopening. Elena the host was very gracious and answered any questions you had and even invited us to spend Sunday morning with them. Unfortunately we had to leave early in the morning to return to our home. We are definitely planning on booking this place again in the future.

I will say the only downside to this property (and this might be because we were there during the polar vortex and couldn’t leave due to most businesses being closed) the quiet hours are early. I’m not sure if she has cameras or neighbors, but I got a message from her at 9:20 reminding me of rental rules. Visitors are expected to be quiet and inside by 9 pm. It’s not a big deal to me because I’m in bed by 8, but in the event you are a night owl, looking at this place as somewhere you and friends could potentially hang out, or if you enjoy sharing adult beverages together, this might not be a good match. This would’ve been a non issue for me, but again, we were not able to socialize away from the house so for my older children traveling with us, this became a source of stress for me. The house is in a neighborhood, and I do understand her early quiet hours and can appreciate the respect and consideration she has for her neighbors. Lastly, buy the accidental damage policy for this house. There are little notes asking visitors to be careful sitting in certain chairs as there is a potential to cause damage.
