Location was great. The apartment was of a decent size and as advertised had 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Rooms were clean and bedding and towels were present. Rooms are on the 3rd floor but there is a working elevator to help bring luggage up. The kitchen did not have very many glasses - for a 4 bedroom apartment, one would expect to see a few more glasses wine glasses would have been nice.

We checked in after having a little issue with finding the place. There is a Jesus calle and a Jesus plaza right next to each other so we were only a block away when we went to rhe wrong address. The building is nice and the neighborhood is nice. Walking distance to almost all of Madrid. The inside of rhe apartment is best described as "run down". The furniture is old, wifi is "SLOW". I gave up on it and just used my phone.. Upon entering the biggest disappointment was the 2nd bathroom. The toilet had a hole in the water tank. A huge hole. It had the water turned off and was unusable for our entire stay. I made a video of rhe issue and sent it to Mit house. They did send someone out after 2 days just to tell us they had to order a new one. No apologies, no discount, not real nice to deal with. All 4 of us had to use 1 bathroom for our stay. The shower in the 2nd bathroom is a joke, you can't even fit in it and there is a huge cabinet IN the shower. I would not stay with anything run by MIT house again. Very bad reviews and know we know why.. The good reviews are fake. Done by employees of Mit house.

Located in a great neighborhood. A short walk to the Prado Museum and many other sights. The apartment is very spacious. I would stay here again.

Unfortunately our experience with Vrbo in was horrible. The property was very dirty and disorganized as well as very poor maintained. We found roaches and bad odor in the whole apartment. The main door lock wasn't operating well, the floor of the hall was deteriorated and many tiles were missing ( at least 15 ), there was not light in the kitchen, many light balls were missing also. Two Splits A/C were not working properly, making us unable to tolerate the hot weather during the month of August. With all these issues, 15 minutes after the check in, we decided to leave and try to find a hotel in the city for a family of eight, what a nightmare!. We contacted the company representatives several times for several days in a row, first informing our decision to decline such a messy property and explaining our concerns and also requesting the refund of our payment. Nobody paid attention to us, nobody. Every single time that we call we spoke to a different person and they acted as they did not know nothing about the situation, they never sent anybody to check on our complaints to resolve the issues, they never accepted that the property was uninhabitable, never agreed to refund us the cost of a rental that we never enjoyed and never call o email me back despite our multiple requests. I was never capable to speak to the supervisor or manager. I never felt this frustration in my more than twenty visits to Spain, the Spanish people are much better than these persons and this experience is not going to stop me on visiting this wonderful country, but I guarantee you, I will never, ever rent any property from Vrbo and I will do my best to convince the people I like to do not do so. This platform does not allow pictures, but I will find a way to upload many photos we have, to prevent you to make the same mistake we made choosing this property for our vacations.
