The location was great not far from work place.
Lots of teas and coffees. There were facilities for making own breakfast and to prepare your meals.

Needed a place to stop for work training for a week. Host welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom was modern and clean. Great place slightly out of town (15/20 mins walk) fellow guests were considerate during my stay. Kitchen available to use with microwave etc. Sky tv with movies was a bonus. Had no issues and would stop there again. Parking available outside on the road or up side street.

Friendly owner, comfortable room, clean. Plus when I left my electric toothbrush in the bathroom. He put it in the post for me and didn't ask for P&P. Excellent place.

Nat is a really friendly host who is happy to stop for a chat for a few minutes. The room I had (the larger of the two and the one at the front of the house) was fine with a large double/king bed, chair, small table, TV, fridge, wardrobe and coffee machine (oh, and a safe that I didn't use). The shared bathroom (between 2 rooms) is small and clean, with a great shower (large and powerful), sink and toilet. There is access to a small kitchen (which I didn't use).
Parking is in front of the house (on Salthouse Road - which is a main road, but its wide and reasonably quiet at night, given its not close to any "acceleration zone" at lights or junctions) is limited and may not be available when you arrive. The 7 or 8 places available are constrained in between a bus stop and zebra crossing. I parked across the road in a small side street, which was fine for my 5 night stay. Both these parking locations are visible from the front bedroom, but not the rear one.
I didn't use any of the local pubs or shops, so can't comment on these. It would be a 10-12 minute walk into the town centre if you went by foot.

It was the most relaxing place I have ever been.
Nathanial is the most laid back charming gentleman ever - nothing was too much trouble for Nathanial he was so helpful and chatty.
The hot tub, steam room and sauna were an amazing experience and would recommend everyone to have a go. Excellent value for money.
The facilities in the kitchen were spot on, everything you would ever need and much more
The bedroom had everything needed - packets of hankies and all products for Covid etc. The décor was beautifully done esp his feathered lampshades
The outdoor space was well thought out and was fantastic esp with the good weather
We will be back If we lived nearer this would be a monthly experience

Love it. Best location in Barrow . If you are there make sure you pre book spa for 2. Great value for money. Free parking outside or nearby. Super nice host. I wish everyone in the UK were as pleasant to deal with as Nate.

Nathaniel was lovely, the place was really great for my us. Nat recommended a great place for dinner the first night. Convenient for going to the lakes.
His cats were so sweet too.

The property was very clean and quiet, I loved the hot tub and the infra red sauna. There are also two resident cats who are very friendly. Nat was very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Thankyou

Lovely place to stay and you were extremely welcoming and helpful towards us. Lots of choice on coffee and tea and use of facilities. Hot tub made the stay perfect
