The apartment was spacious, and we were given a nice welcoming box of chocolates. The staff were very friendly and attentive. When we were missing toilet roll, and a tea towel, they came back with some.

The apartment wasn’t cleaned to an acceptable level. The toilet was disgusting, the shower was not clean, there were cobwebs, tiles missing from the floor, and general grime. The cooker did not work. There was no cloths or washing up liquid to clean with. There was no parking nearby, you couldn’t park on the street without a permit until 6pm

Host was courteous and prompt though we had booked after his cut off time, he did his utmost to accommodate us.

Quite tired and could have been cleaner in bathroom. Not a big thing but discard crockery when broken and have sets of cups , glasses instead of single items.

The helpful host

The house rules include "No smoking", which was critical for us. However, the apartment stank of smoke. It was so bad that our clothes smelled of this nearly a day after leaving the property. Equally poor was the level of cleanliness: the floors were covered with dust, whilst the walls had many paint marks. We also found a piece of (used) chewing gum on a door handle.

Heating was on a timer, woke up too hot in the night, otherwise perfect stay

It was easy because they met us outside and showed us the full property and so much more. Very lovely people definitely recommend them
