VILLA PRINCIPESSA, by AMALFIVACATION.IT, Sea Access, Pool, Sea View, Terraces.
Villa Principessa is situated in Marmorata, the section of Ravello nearest the sea, and has direct access to the sea, beach platform, and pool. It's comprised of 3 double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom; a large living room with stunning sea view; a spacious dining room with fully equipped kitchen, house bathroom and two private outdoor spaces with sea view.
Beds can be double 'queen size' or twins, in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is large enough to accommodate an extra bed, which is available on request. In both the living room and dining room, there is a comfortable double sofa bed. All rooms have either a balcony or terrace with lovely views of the sea.
The villa many amenities include air conditioning/heating, high speed internet access, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, flat tv.
Villa Principessa is one of the finest villas in Ravello and on the whole of the Amalfi Coast. In fact, despite having been completely renovated and equipped with every modern comfort, the villa still conserves much of its late eighteenth century charm.
Along with direct access to the sea, guests staying at Villa Principessa also have access to the new "infinity" pool and large solarium!
The pool is located across the street from the villa and just 70 steps from the road, and is shared with the other 5 villas in the complex. Each guest has his or her own sun lounger and towel.
The pool is open from March 28th to the beginning of November (weather permitting) and is heated in the spring and autumn months.
The entrance is on the street level; from here you enter to a '''small reception area''' which, on the left, opens onto the large and '''prestigiously furnished sitting-room''' and, on the right, the stairs which lead to the other two floors.
On the first floor, there are two bedrooms decorated with original period pieces. The first has an en suite bathroom with chromotherapy shower and is completely fresco ed. The second is finely and elegantly furnished and has its own adjoining bathroom with shower and bathtub, embellished with the precious original glazed 'cotto' tiles from Vietri.
On this floor there is also a wardrobe area.
On the second floor, there is an elegant mansard, comprised of a double bedroom (queen size), a bathroom, a kitchenette and a small private sea view terrace.
On the lower floor, there is a spacious dining-room, modern kitchen and a bathroom with shower.
Don't want to cook? Request the services of a personal chef and sit back and relax instead!
From this floor, you enter the villa's garden-terrace, furnished with tables, chairs and sun-loungers.
With its enchanting views and luxurious outdoor furniture, the garden-terrace provides the perfect venue in which to host an unforgettable, candlelit dinner.
The villa is surrounded by a splendid park full of flowers and, in common with other three houses, has access to the sea (about 120 steps) and a bathing-platform.
LOCATION
The Villa is located in one of the most scenic and picturesque areas of the Amalfi Coast: Marmorata, the area of Ravello closest to sea.

From the charming village of Minori Ferry lines for Amalfi, Positano, Capri etc, depart.
Amalfi town is at only 1.5 miles/2.4 km far (about 7-8 minutes by car, taxi, bus or ferry);

Villa Principessa from all the reviews and from the pictures looked like an amazing spot on the Amalfi Coast and it did not disappoint.
The host arranged pick up and return for us which was handy and managed to get a trip to Pompei on the way there. We took the scenic route along the water. As mentioned in the write up the Villa is on a road and the first day was a bit intimidating when we dropped off and not used to it. There is some road noise but after the first night you get used to it and not too bad from bedrooms.
The swimming platform and the garden were amazing, so much so that we didn’t use the pool. There are stairs to get down but well worth it.
The hosts provided a bottle of wine and treats when we got there which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel.
Bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and air conditioning was good!
Kitchen had everything you needed and of course beautiful views from all the rooms. We would notice different things everyday in the house with little touches and decorations.
What made our stay was the exceptional service from Giuseppe from when we first got to the house to his daily check ins. Our entire group LOVED him - from picking up pizza for us one night ( and a bottle of wine) to getting us reservations for dinner to helping with our private boat tour to Capri. A highlight everyday for us when he would reach out and/or stop in but never unwanted. We will miss Villa Principessa and Giuseppe and those behind the scenes as well

Villa is wonderful and the Amalfi coast is breathtaking. Giuseppe made our arrival easy, gave us a thorough tour of the property, and gave us advice to make the most of our time. If you haven't been to this area before, be sure to read the description of the property - it is very accurate. Swimming in the sea or pool, nice town a short walk away, beautiful scenery. This was perhaps the best family vacation we've had!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Villa Principessa! From the moment we arrived Giuseppe made us feel so welcome and helped us with our luggage. Not only did he help us with that Giuseppe also made our dinner reservations and arranged for transportation which made our dinners so easy and great! He also went grocery shopping for us and gave us all the info for the town festival that would be going on. We loved the place and were so lucky to have someone helping us the entire time! The house had wine, snacks and fruit ready for us this place is a MUST STAY!! Thank you Giuseppe ❤️

We were extremely satisfied with our stay and experience with Amalfi vacations. Giuseppe was the best host we have ever worked with. AMALFIVACATION assisted us with a private chef, stocking groceries, boat rental and the list goes own. The views were spectacular and the apartment was superb. We strongly feel that choosing AMALFIVACATION made our holiday perfect and were sad to depart. I would highly recommend and return as a guest.

First, our property was spotless, and the view was nothing short of amazing. But the thing that stuck out was to service. They arranged a boat trip, they arranged a trip to Pompeii with a guide, they arranged a driver for us to walk the path of the gods and they picked us up at the train station and dropped us off at our hotel.. And the best part is those prices they arranged were all, more than fair. You are getting more than just a place to stay when you stay with these guys.

Had a great location on the water with access to sea or infinity pool. Giuseppe was a great host and made sure we were taken care of. A bit of traffic noise from the busses horns but that is Italy. All good and spacious home on four floors.

We are so incredibly pleased with our stay at this beautiful Villa! It exceeded our expectations and we definitely recommend this property. It was well stocked with everything we needed: towels, cleaning products, utensils and cookware, etc. it was very clean and very comfortable. It was an easy 10 minute walk into the heart of Minori where you can easily catch a ferry to the other towns in the Amalfi coast.
We were super concerned about getting all of our luggage for our eight person group from the dock up to the property. However, Giuseppe, our check-in host went out of his way to shuttle our luggage in his own car from the dock. Giuseppe gave us a thorough orientation to the property and helped us book reservations that first night at a great local restaurant.
There is a private dock / patio with ocean access that was perfect for lounging on Chase lounges and taking a dip in the Mediterranean.
The only thing to be aware of, however, is that there are no queen or king beds in the villa. All of them are single beds that can be pushed together for couples.

This villa was fantastic. Yes, it has many steps and four levels, but that is what you get on the side of a mountain….,,and it is totally worth it. The villa is exactly as described. Check in was easy, as Giuseppe met us there when we arrived and gave us a complete tour of the place including how to get down to the sea and how to get up to the pool. He was great, checking in with us on the next day to make sure everything was going well. They had a basket of fresh fruit and bottles of wine as a gift for us, as well as bottled water in all refrigerators. As others have mentioned, we made arrangements for the private chef to cook for us on our last evening there and it was tremendous. The view from the villa and pool are spectacular and we plan on returning some day.

Gorgeous villa with ocean access and impressive infintiy pool with stunning sea view form every room.
We were welcomed by Giuseppe with a big basket of snacks, fruit, coffee and 2 bottle of wines. We had dinner at the Michelin starred restaurant "Glicine" inside the sister property Hotel Santa Caterina . Giuseppe, was wonderfu in every way, and even arranged the shuttle to take us from the villa to the restaurant free of charge. The restaurant was excellent! Special mention also to Vincenzo, Samantha and Erminia who were excellent to deal with, both during the resevation process and our stay. Also the location was perfect. We already booked for next year!

We are a group of 6 adults and the house was perfect for us. Plenty of room for everyone. The views from each bedroom including the kitchen and bathroom were stunning! The only drawback was the villa sits right on a highway so you need to be careful when you open the front door that you don’t get run over by passing cars. But all good.
Vincenzo was amazing from the get go! He responded all our questions:emails and made suggestions. His private drivers he recommended for us for the whole week were professional and on time and all spoke fluent English.
He also recommended a cook for our first night at the villa and the food was so yummy!! Definitely do that when you stay at the villa. Vincenzo also picked up some wine bottles for us so everything was ready when we arrived at the villa!
You wouldn’t regret staying there!

Villa Principessa was amazing . Comfortable and beautiful. Awesome breathtaking view of the sea from every room and from the terraces. The town of Minori was a easy 10 minute walk. The people in the town are friendly and helpful. We arrived at the villa by a private driver named Salvatore. He was so helpful and nice. I highly recommend you have him pick you up if you don't have a ride to the villa. He picked us up in Salerno's train station. When we arrived at the villa we were greeted by Giuseppe. Such a great guy! We felt comfortable right away. Highest praise is also reserved for AmalfiVacation and Vincenzo. I highly recommend this villa. Everything was smooth and easy.

Infact, We extended our stay of 3 more nights
First, thank you again Vincenzo for easy booking procedures and excellent organization. Giuseppe was fantastic in his capacity as property manager and answered all our daily questions with a smile. A wonderful, memorable home cooked meal by some lovely local ladies were one of the highlights for all of us. Villa Principessa is a beautiful building in the absolut best location, directly on the water. All of us are planning to go back to Minori which is filled with charming people and far enough away from the tourist crowds, but still close enough to the sights of Amalfi, Ravello, Positano...

Villa Principessa is a fabulous find with spectacular views. It is beautiful, impeccably clean and well appointed. The furnishings are tasteful, up to date, comfortable and functional. From the moment we stepped inside we were transported to paradise. We were greeted by Giuseppe, who was instrumental in getting us settled and keeping us on target for a wonderful vacation. Kitchen is well stocked and we thought the basket of treats was a nice touch. As a party of six adults who are fairly well traveled, we would all agree that this was one of the finest vacation homes we have rented. Vincenzo was prompt and helpful with our reservation. The villa is well situated with access to the surrounding towns. The bus passes by the front door if you decide not to drive. The charming village of Minori is a short and easy walk from the Principessa . In Minori there is everything, from restaurants, to bars and grocery shops. We enjoyed our first meal at a local restaurant called Midnight Sun Bar in the square. Antonio, took great care in ensuring we tried the local favorites like the lemon fettucine. We were able to visit, by ferry, Positano, Amafli and Vietri as they are all close by. A day trip to Capri from Amalfi was enjoyable. The Villa Principessa was beyond our expectations. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy the sun. We promised each other that we will return for a longer holiday next time. Many Thanks to Vincenzo, Giuseppe and Andrea. Grazie tanti

This is our second stay at Villa Principessa.
Kids loved the stunning heated pool, adults the lovely sea access.
We can not recommend this Villa and Amalfivacation enough. The Villa is gorgeous, tastefully decorated with the most amazing location and spectacular views, well maintained both inside and out. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The villa has also a beautiful large terrace that provides loungers, table and chairs. The company acts like a 5 star hotel with our contact, Vincenzo operating better than any concierge at any 5 star resort. Everything was seamless and easy...I felt completely taken care of and I am beyond impressed with the proactiveness of Vincenzo for everything...even assistance with restaurant reservations.
If you are looking at booking this villa with this company please don't think about it and just book it!!

Villa Principessa is the ultimate Villa to stay in on the Amalfi coast!
The villa is perfectly located below the hilltop town of Ravello and the town of Minori on the ocean (a short walk from the villa). In Minori, we found all the necessities for our stay, plus coffee bars, restaurants and shopping, a great place for a stroll and a drink without large crowds and easy access to the ferry.
We were able to visit Positano, Amalfi and Capri as they are all close by.
The place was stocked with coffee, snacks, and a nice bottle of wine along with basic essentials for cooking a nice meal for yourself.
The view from every room including the bathrooms is breathtaking.
The pool is heated and even though it was only about 65 outside, We spent several hours in there on our last day and it was lovely.
Villa Principessa has also direct access to the beach and swimming platform.
Everything was taken care of for our group and any request we made (transfers, boat hire, restaurant bookings ) was met. A big shout out to Vincenzo and Giuseppe for all their work, they really did take the stress out of everything. The Villa was fully self contained and had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here!!

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. The host was quick to respond to all of our messages and provided us with helpful advice and directions for arrival. Every staff member was friendly and knowledgeable. We felt like we were Amalfi coast insiders with their help and guidance.
The villa itself was beautiful and comfortable for our group of three couples and a baby. The main rooms each had doors which helped us corral kids away from the stairs. The bedrooms were spacious and quiet, and the common areas were perfect for relaxing and spending time together. The villa is also located just a short walk from the town of Minori, which made it easy to explore the area and find restaurants, shops, and other amenities.
One of the highlights of our stay was having Claudia, a chef recommended by the host, come to the villa and cook us a delicious meal. Claudia was able to accommodate our vegetarian and child dietary restrictions, and she prepared a beautiful and flavorful meal that we all enjoyed. We even had leftovers for the next day!
Overall, we had an amazing time at this villa in Marmorata, Italy. The host, staff, and property were all top-notch, and we would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to stay on the Amalfi Coast.

We had a great time at The Princessa. The house is beautiful with a great view and Guisseppe was very accommodating and knowledgeable. I would recommend for anyone wanting to experience true living on the Amalfi coast. The house was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. I would not recommend for anyone with kids under 10. We had a three year old with us and were constantly worried about the stairs. It is 4 stories with lots of stairs. Great for romance not great for mobility impaired or small kids.

Beautiful property in an amazing location.
The property offered everything we were looking for: space, views, closeness to town.
The people managing the property were always easy to contact snd extremely helpful with organising anything we required.
10.0 / 10.0
The villa is in a great location near Minori just a short walk into the village or to the ferry port. There are many flights of stairs.....in the villa.... to get to the sea....to get to the pool. There are many bugs especially if fruit is left out or windows are open. The villa is well stocked. It is very convenient to use washer/dryer. Giuseppi was very helpful for check in, with recommendations and with a small plumbing issue from the previous renters

Wonderful property. Lots of steps though. Too far to walk down to beach. Manager was great and so helpful. We had no issues checking in. Beautiful home. Wine and fruit as arrival gift was so nice. Overall great experience.

We had such a wonderful time staying at the villa principessa. The views are incredible. Enjoyed having access to the sea and the pool. The best part of all though was the incredible service and assistance we received throughout our stay from Vincenzo and Andreas. Before we arrived helped arrange our meal with Claudia and brought us groceries so we had food when we arrived. During our stay I’ve never experienced such great service. Andreas helped us with something every day. He even managed to fix our rental car when it wouldn’t start!
We definitely would recommend having Claudia prepare a meal if not multiple meals. She and her crew provided an amazing meal for us that was a highlight of our time in Amalfi.

This was a perfect villa for a family holiday with our grown up children and their partners. This 18th century villa was an outstanding property big enough for all of us to do our own things. Beautifully furnished! The staff located nearby Andrea and Guiseppe were outstanding and were always around to help if required. Negatives are the property is literally on the main Amalfi coast road so traffic is constant and noisy. The shared pool although fabulous is located elsewhere at other properties .across the road. Direct access to the sea is a great attribute. Family spent most of the holiday bobbing around in the sea. Stunning views stunning holiday. Perfect away from the madding crowds of Positano!

The views from this villa and its flowers are spectacular! The rooms are unique and echo the feel of the Amalfi Coast. There are many steps to the beautiful pool or the relaxing seaside area. If you are going to the Amalfi Coast you should be prepared for much walking and stair climbing. :-)
Guieseppe is a terrific help. He will do anything to ensure guests have a wonderful time, and Vincenzo is a great host.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Principessa!

Wow, this house is spectacular! It’s exactly what you would think of on the cliffs in Amalfi. It is located within walking distance to the fishing Village Minori. It takes about 10 minutes to get there however, the walk to get to the steps down to the city is a little scary especially if you have kids. We rented a car and it was difficult to get around and find the location originally. Our amazing concierge,Guiseppe, had to stand in the middle of the road, and flag us down to find it. Our GPS location took us to the incorrect spot. That was the only trouble with checking into the property. Having the ability to jump right into the Mediterranean with a semi private dock, was our favorite part. It is a long and steep climb, which seemed to be more difficult for the adults than it did for the children! I should’ve been using a stairmaster prior to this trip. Guiseppe helped us switch our dinner reservations our very first night to an amazing restaurant that we highly recommend local in Minori. The only con we have for this house are the bugs. There were so many ants/mosquito coming in through every level of the house. If you even left one crumb in the kitchen, would have a pile of ants within an hour. We found spray under the sink on day two and that was able to keep them away for the rest of our trip. Hopefully it is sprayed typically before guests arrive. Overall, my group of 8 were highly impressed and would absolutely book this home again for our future Amalfi trips!

The communication before our stay was incredible. Vincenzo and Samantha were very quick to respond and answer any of our questions. They also helped with recommendations on how to get around the area, etc. We also had the pleasure of meeting Giuseppe who was our personal concierge for our stay. He was very hospitable and was quick to get us groceries or ANYTHING we needed. The villa was absolutely gorgeous like out of a magazine, kitchen fully stocked, comfortable beds, etc…the only two things that could have been improved was the very top floor was hard to cool off however we were there in July! And, the walk down to Minori was sometimes busy with traffic. Giuseppe was able to grab us a taxi whenever we needed for that. Overall I would definitely recommend this for a large group. We had our own ocean access as well as incredible pool! Until next time 🇮🇹

Vincenzo was extremely easy to communicate with and make arrangements. This was our first time using VRBO and we were a little nervous.
We arrived and we had a great welcome. Lots of fresh fruit, snacks and of course wine.
Giuseppe our property manager was instrumental in helping us plan some meals and he even went and picked up pizza for us, which was amazing.
Giuseppe was like family by the end of our trip. The Amalfi coast is beyond comparison for its beauty.
The villa fit our family perfectly and I don't hesitate to recommend staying there. Thanks again Vincenzo and Giuseppe.
8.0 / 10.0
The house was clean and beautiful. The pool is not attached to the house, it’s across the street and good walk up some stairs. It is a SHARED pool with others. The platform by the sea is also shared.
The house is on 4 different floors with very steep winding stairs. Kitchen is in the bottom, living room on 2nd floor, 2 guestrooms on the 3rd floor and master on the 4th (top) floor. We elected to stay in the room with the mural and put our son in the master. ( let his 21 year old legs do the climbing)
The house isn’t really in Ravello. Ravello is at a much higher elevation which you can walk to, but I would advise a taxi. The house is a close walk to Minori. It’s a 10-15 min walk down and a steep walk back up.
Minori is lovely. Lots of restaurants. We didn’t have a bad meal. There are a few little vegetable and meat markets, pharmacy, ATM, etc. be aware that the markets are closed on Sunday.
There’s a ferry service and you can go to Capri, Amalfi, and Positano. Get your tickets to Capri in advance. They sell out, and we ended up getting a private boat. In hind sight, I’m sure the house managers could have set that up for us.
The managers were lovely. I wish I had communicated with them more in advance. I would take them up on any help you may need setting up dinners or assistance with transportation.
10.0 / 10.0
We loved this location for the convenience of walking to Minori as well as Amalfi. The ferry system was easy to use and we even walked the stairs up to Ravello! The property managers were exceptional and our airport transportation was arranged as well and great recommendations like cooking class. The rain prevented us from using the outdoor patio often but we did enjoy the beautiful pool and vista.
8.0 / 10.0
We really enjoyed our stay and the property manager was so helpful with groceries, check in and arranging taxis for our outings. The house was really nice and well kept. It was a bit of a surprise that the house is actually located about a 20 minute drive to the town of Ravello - though it is walkable to Minori. It is also located on a "turn" in the road so there was a lot of honking as cars and trucks came down the road. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay and allowed us to have lots of space to hang out as a family when we were not out and about!

Villa Principessa was so very beautiful and I can’t say enough about the kindness and availability of Vincenzo and the entire staff. I started planning this trip 6 months ago. Vincenzo and I had so many texts and phone conversations. He was beyond helpful setting us up with dinners, transportation, and wonderful activities on the amazing Amalfi coast. Every single member of the staff was so very kind and went out of their way to be helpful to make our trip comfortable. A special thanks to not only Vincenzo, but also to Lucia, Andrea, Pepe, and Gerardo, and also Claudia for the delicious dinner she prepared for us on our first night at the Villa! Many, many thanks to all!!

We loved our stay at the Villa Principessa near Minori.
Vincenzo was so helpful and made the entire process smooth and easy. He assisted with booking cars and a private boat to Capri and a guide for Pompeii. He made it so easy that I probably needed to do more research to fill in the blanks.
One of the best things he arranged was a private dinner with Chef Pepe and Claudia. They were amazing - the food was fantastic - the staff they brought along including their daughter was wonderful and the overall experience was phenomenal. I would highly recommend having Claudia come and prepare a meal. This was a highlight for us. Everyone should do this!
The Villa was also wonderful. Perfect for our group of six. The pool and the private patio and the access to the sea were great. The hillside setting made every morning a joy to see the beauty. The villa was located in MInori which we loved. It is a bit quieter than Amalfi and Positano. You could walk/hike to Maori and Amalfi or get the boat. Positano took a bit more effort. We were there at Easter so we loved the Minori experience of Good Friday church and procession and the candlelight. Vincenzo brought us traditional Easter cake. We attended Easter Mass in Amalfi. What an unbelievable way to spend Easter.
Overall - this Villa helped make our trip to the Amalfi Coast an 11 out of 10.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in the Amalfi Coast and stayed at Villa Principessa. It was possibly the nicest property we have ever stayed in. Incredible views, plenty of space for 6 of us with a full kitchen, 3 very large and well equipped bedrooms, a patio with a grill, a beautiful pool with beautiful views of the coast and access to the sea. Vincenzo, our property manager, went above and beyond to make our vacation perfect. He secured dinner reservations, transportation, boat trip to Capri and much much more. Really, the only negative was that we had to pay the second half of the villa rental (first half was through VRBO) in cash upon arrival. That forced us to carry a lot cash which made us uncomfortable being in a foreign country. Outside of that, everything was PERFECT! The villa is a short 10-minute walk from the town of Minori which has excellent restaurant options as well as ATM machines, a butcher, grocery store and the best desert place on the planet (Sal De Riso). They also have a taxi stand, bus stand and access to boat ferries to get you to other parts of the Amalfi Coast. I would say this property is perfectly located as it makes everything easy to get to while not being a crowded tourist trap (like Positano and other cities). I would give this property more than 5 stars if it were possible. Highly recommend.

I celebrated a special birthday at the villa which could not have been more gorgeous and well appointed. Our host was incredible - always available to help us arrange transportation and give really good guidance about what to see and how. Trip of my dreams, the Villa , it’s view and the pool are BREATHTAKING- and Vincenzo is just great.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the villa. My friends and I had flown in for a wedding in Ravello, and the villa was absolutely amazing. Spacious for the 10 of us and plenty of room to host guests. They brought in cleaners during the day to tidy up during our stay which was unexpected, but very welcome. All in all, we had an absolutely amazing stay and I would definitely recommend this Villa for any groups coming to the Amalfi coast.
The host was also incredibly helpful and very responsive.

Simply AMAZING! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Principessa! Vincenzo was an amazing host who gave us wonderful recommendations and helped us with reservations, car service, boat excursions and our many questions! Franco met us upon arrival and helped familiarize ourselves with the villa, helped us with boat service off the swimming platform and with our departure and all of our luggage! We arranged for a personal chef our first night. Claudia made a spectacular Italian dinner. We enjoyed all of the delicious leftovers;) We enjoyed two boat excursions. One with Michelle to Capri and a sunset cruise with Lorenzo to Amalfi. Such fun!! We utilized the swim deck every day and worked on our fitness with the stairs;) Picking fresh figs on our way up. We spent a majority of our time in Minori. Loved the quaint town only 10 minutes away much more than the busy towns of Capri, Amalfi and Positano. Our highlight was our 6 course meal in Amalfi at the Michelin restaurant Glicine at the Santa Caterina Hotel. Our favorite restaurant in Minori was Giardiniello. We also LOVED Sal de Riso for morning coffee and pastries and their cakes and limoncella. This was our first (and definitely not our last) visit to the breathtaking Amalfi coast ❤️

This is a lovely property with beautiful sea views from all of the rooms except the bedroom at the very top. The air conditioning works very well, thankfully as there was a heat wave when we were there. The top bedroom was quite hot though but we didn't need to use it and only used the shower up there.
We really enjoyed being able to walk (6-8 minutes) into Minori, a quaint seaside village with friendly people and many good local restaurants. In comparison to other nearby towns like Positano and Amalfi, Minori feels much more local, and not nearly as touristy.
The house is lovely with many comfortable places to sit, both inside and out. For the most part, we sat down by the sea where there are comfortable lounge chairs (the sea is the perfect temperature for swimming in July!). Just beware that there are 200 steep steps from the sea to the villa! The pool area (a few minutes walk down the road) is larger with many more chairs but without umbrellas so there's not much shade until late in the afternoon.
Vincenzo was great, as were the others who work with him, Franco, Andrea and Samantha. Vincenzo was always available to answer my many questions by email and text and he is very helpful with getting restaurant reservations, taxis, and more.
The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars on cleanliness was because there were little ants on the floor, both inside and out. I only noticed them here and there inside when I was doing yoga one day mid-stay and I'm sure if I had mentioned it Vincenzo would've had it taken care of.
We loved our stay and highly recommend Villa Principessa!
