The house/kitchen is so well equipped.
I was confused how to lock the house while we were in it. The lock wouldn’t work so we had to lock it electronically from the exterior side and then close the door. Bigger beds would be ideal but the sheets were great quality.
Will stay here again for sure! 👍

Our family gathered in SB to celebrate my sister in law’s 50th bday. This property was perfect! Just a block and a half from the beach and walking distance to the Funk Zone, there was plenty close by to keep us busy. We took advantage of the yoga studio and the hot tub in the backyard. The only challenge was there is only 1 full bathroom.

My husband and daughter (teenager), along with our friends and their teenager said in this home for our Spring Break getaway. We couldn't ask for anything more. The house was very cute, well kept and clean. The location to the beach was great and the house came with chairs and toys. An easy drive or nice mile walk to State street for all the shopping and eateries. We would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed the very cute house and the great location - simple walk to the beach and 1/2 way between Santa Barbara proper and Mendicito. There's only one full bath, (and a half bath) and so think about that if you're filling up the three bedrooms.

Very cute house that checked all the boxes! Very clean, cute decor, comfortable beds, close to beach and running paths. Really loved the outdoor patio and hot tub. Would definitely love to stay again.
Only down side…the noise from the separate property upstairs can be bad. One early morning there were kids running around with shoes on and it was pretty intense. Fortunately, they were conscientious neighbors and after we nicely asked if they could take shoes off, it got better. But noise could be an issue if you don’t have the right neighbors.
Oh, and there was no coffee at the property, even though there’s a keurig type machine. Be sure to pack your own if that’s important after late evening arrival!

Everything was perfect and exactly as portrayed and reviewed. The house is cute and comfortable. The beach and amenities are all sp close. We loved walking the boardwalk in the morning and beach sunsets in the evening. There are so many thoughtful touches that added to our stay. Everyone in our group of 6 (4 adults & 2 young kids) had a great time. My only advice is to note the bed sizes. We were the only couple (with 2 little kids) & stayed with my brother and mom so it was fine, but not sure the house really sleeps 6.

wunderschönes Haus in guter strandnaher Lage
Ein sehr stylisches Haus in guter Lage, Strand nur ein Block entfernt. Sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet, ein Bad mehr wäre jedoch gut bei 3 Schlafzimmern. Das einzige Bad ist recht klein, die zweite Toilette hat nur eine Schiebetür. Es ist fast alles da, was man braucht, leider fehlte Kaffee. Ein Wäscheständer für nasse Badesachen wäre auch sinnvoll. Die Kopfkissen waren uns zu dick. Es ist ein klein bisschen ungemütlich, weil alles sehr empfindlich wirkt und man sich manchmal nicht so richtig traut, die Sitzmöbel richtig zu benutzen. Insgesamt ein tolles Haus, in dem wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt hatten.

Nice location!
I enjoyed the stay in the sea captains house. Despite the fact that there are a couple of small hotels and some apartment buildings, the street had a neighborhood feel, quiet, cozy, little noise except background noise from 101. It is one mile from the beach, easy parking, easy to get j to Montecito or along the waterfront in SB and east n/off from 101.
Nice amenities, spacious and comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again though much better w price to have a house full of people. I had no issues and didn’t have to communicate with the agency.

The Sea Captain's House is a true gem.
This was the most well appointed house I've ever rented. It had everything you could want from sharp knives to a hot tub to a beach umbrella. We had a great time!

Perfectly charming home with everything we needed for our family
We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was so charming and had everything we needed. Proximity to the beach was fantastic. Loved the workout room with Peloton, the spa, the outdoor area with dining table was perfect for our kids. We had the best time and plan to book again next year!

Lovely beach retreat
What a fantastic home in such a great location, just a block from the beach. We even took the stand up paddleboard out to the ocean one day. The kitchen is well equipped and the gift bottle of wine a very nice touch. We used the hot tub every day! Would love to come back in the future!
