Lovely decor Room was a generous size Bed was comfy

The room didn’t have a bottle of water for drinking - I had my own and the bar staff also provided us with a carafe of water to take up to the room. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the back of the property as we stayed on a Saturday night and there is a kebab shop opposite the front.

Great stay

Was not made aware there was a wedding reception on the floor below music and noise till 1.30 in the morning and was not made aware that restaurant was not open due to the wedding reception bed had a big stain on the duvet and room very dated but staff were dealing with wedding reception so no time for guests expected more for 150 pound a night

I was visiting Wales to participate in the Nos Galan Road Races on New Year's Eve in the neighbouring town of Mountain Ash. I also took in 2 Parkruns while I was there, so I suppose you could call it a racing weekend. I really loved my stay in Pontypridd at the 'Blueberry', everything about the hotel was excellent - the staff, location, bedroom, parking, etc. It was a lovely comfortable stay and I would hope to return again.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. A good size and nicely decorated room with a huge bed. Great restaurant. Dinner was fabulous and good value.

Parking is a little difficult to find in the first instance and could do with additional detail. Room carpet was a little tired but not surprising when spending so little.
