Beautiful spot with beautiful views. Clean and warm.

Only things were the inconvenient placement of the rubbish bins, no kitchenette or even microwave. Otherwise great

Enjoyed the facilities such as refrigerated water, cereal, coffee, tea. Very clean toilets and beautiful room. The room is so clean and gorgeous. The water pressure in the shower is amazing and the book with helpful information for around town was great! We enjoyed our stay so much.

Location was fine for us because we had a car but if we didnt it might be difficult.

Riverside Retreat was the perfect place for our time in Queenstown, although you will need a car if you are staying here. The location is stunning, set alongside a river with private views of the Remarkables as you wake up. The room is super spacious, private and makes you feel at home. Really close to the airport, the hosts were 10/10 and helped us with our questions and needs. Honestly hard to fault, I would prefer to stay here over a hotel any day and it costs half as much. Perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.

So lovely staying here! The views were gorgeous and they gave us so many recommendations that were all phenomenal. Place was even better than expected and the bikes provided made getting out into the nature area easy.

I would most definitely want to come back here. What a view from the window where the rattan chairs are! I enjoyed sunrise and sunset there as much as I could. Stars look better than Lake Tekapo even. I loved all the windows. Sunset is great from there. I bet it's very warm in winter. The space is gorgeous and very open space. The couch is very comfy, I spent most of my time there. It is a Very quiet part of Queenstown, you'll have great sleep there. I made good use of the TV with Netflix and Casting. The air con was a lifesaver, as it gets so hot up there (it's on the 1st floor with a spiral staircase). There is a zoological garden entrance trail right next to the house AND the Queenstown trail. The hosts were very welcoming, I appreciated that.

1) It was SO dry here..On top of the heat, my nose bled twice during my stay here. A humidifier would really help. 2) no kitchen nor an electric cooker set. You almost always have to eat out or bring in takeaway, or eat simple things. 3) the place where the fridge and the rubbish bin is placed - I always hit my head there when after reaching for the rubbish bin. Not the best placement.
