Stay was very nice! Very quiet and relaxing. Spectacular views.

This was our third trip to the Cove house in Drayden. The owner has been very gracious with us and has really made my family feel very at home at what is becoming an annual vacation spot for us. My family loves to play at the beach and enjoy the kayaks on the water. This time we also were watching seagulls dive and catch their supper. We had a BBQ supper by the water and watched the sun set. The property is well maintained and the house is in very good condition. The golf cart to get to the beach and back is a very nice perk.

Great home with nice water access. We loved the golf cart to get to and from the water. Host was extremely accommodating. We would recommend to others.

We had a great time staying at this charming house in a beautiful setting. During the day, we swam, kayaked, crabbed and visited local points of interest. The beach, pier and firepit provided fun and relaxation throughout the day, accessed by the provided golf cart. Great spot to kick back and enjoy family.

A quiet, peaceful spot full of nature. Deer will be feeding in the yard. A fun golf cart drive away to the water where you can fish and kayak. The house is spacious and cooking a breeze.

We enjoyed our stay. The internet was not working when i got there and they resolved it quickly and let me know i would receive a partial refund if the problem was not resolved quickly.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. A perfect escape with amazing nature all around. Hope to check it out sometime in the fall.

The cove house is a definite gem. It checks all the boxes when looking for the perfect vacation home. Rick was an amazing host and was very helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible. I would recommend this beautiful home to anyone wanting to stay in the area and hope to return in the future.

We couldn't find the first aid kit it was complete fine tho the cleanliness was just with a verrrrry small amount of dust still and absolutely wonderful place to stay

We (myself, my wife, and our 5yo) stayed 4 days/3 nights at this property. We enjoyed the house, which is rambling, comfortable, and interesting, as well as the water features. The small beach was sufficient for our daughter to play on and build sand castles. The beach is a 5 minute trip away, using the provided golf cart, so it is not ideal if you want to fall right off your back deck into the water, but the drive adds a fun element for kids or anyone who doesn't golf on a regular basis. (Plus we spotted several deer and a bald eagle on these trips.) The inlet is perfect for use with the provided kayaks with a great combination of creek, hidden beaches/sandbars, woody shores, and marshes. You can choose any length of trip as the fractal nature of the coastline permits you to go on as long or as short a trip as you like and still enjoy new sights out and back. The house was clean and spacious. We cooked a full dinner (including a large pot of crabs) in the kitchen and didn't lack for anything. Wifi and cellular data were slightly slow, but adequate. Full satellite TV was available. Everything is 20+ minutes away, but everything that you would need for a vacation is available within a half hour drive. Between the beach, fire pit, deck, and large house with numerous bathrooms, and semi-isolation, this is a great place for a family, but would be a perfect place for a youth group, sports team, or other collection of young people who need space and activities, but not necessarily a bed.

We had a marvelous time in this beautiful and serene setting. The house was clean and spacious and the screen porches were amazing! We kayaked, paddle boarded, swam and played in the sand. We really enjoyed watching all the wildlife and the goats next door (from a distance.) On the one rainy day there were board games and puzzles as well as sports and movies on tv. Definitely will return!

This is our second stay at Rick's Cove House. The property is unique being an old farm house on a 60 acre air strip. The river access is excellent, we spent hours on the pier fishing and crabbing. We bring our boat and having the boat ramp on site makes the trip easy, just need to launch and load around high tide. Rick is very responsive to questions and the house is very nicely cared for with everything you need for a great vacation. The remote feel of the area makes this a great place to take a break and recharge.

Love staying at the property so much to do and to see. We love that we can put our boat in and just hang out there or head over to the Ruddy Duck in 5 minutes by Boat. Great place to stay and relax!

Property was extremely clean and roomy. There was an abundance of wildlife (please do not bother the neighboring goats and peacock). Parlor is full of board and card games for family entertainment. We rented kayaks from Rick, he had them down at the dock ready for use. He was excellent with any questions and super nice when we met him on the property doing routine maintenance (mowing). If you need to disconnect from busy city life, this place is ideal.

We could not have been happier with the place and Rick was so very great to work with. This is a lovely home, that's quietly tucked away. An excellent place to relax and rejuvenate. Our family had a great time and would stay here again.

We do an Friendsgiving every year, it’s always the same 3 families. This location was logistically perfect. Plenty of yard for the kids and lots of space inside so we aren’t always crammed on top of each other. This property easily fit the 9 of us and the master bedroom could probably sleep 15 people alone. The 3 bathrooms was a definite must for the 9 of us as well. We would definitely recommend this property to others and the owner was amazing with communication. The beds and bedding were all super comfy, which is always a must! This house came with everything we could possibly need. The boat ramp was perfect for our boats too. The beach with fire pit are gorgeous and CLEAN! I only wish it wasn’t so windy so we could have enjoyed a fire on the beach.
